...if you had to plop the characters from Honor Brigade down in either the DCU or the MU, which would you pick?

Of course, they may not want to leave the Spinner Rack U.

Is there a date for the color trade yet? When that day comes link me to a site you trust to buy it as I only trust Paypal and Amazon with my credit card number. But I trust you so as long as you trust the people I'm buying the trade from everything is cool.

DCU... if they HAD to but personally I wouldn't let DC NEAR them. They'd have the Living Log fed through a wood chipper so that Lightning Rod would swear "Darrrk Vengeange!" and then he'd change his costume, and possibly get a mullet....

Toyboy's brother would be horribly murdered as well and he would go all dark and create an armored costume with blades all over it...

It just wouldn't be pretty...

No date yet. Still waiting on additional content from other folks. Hopefully early next year.

If all goes well you'll be able to buy a copy just about everywhere books are sold.

True, you don't even want to know what Toy Boy Prime would do...

I would!

But, yeah, DCU for sure. BUT only if you had full control of them.....

I know I'm master of the obvious but I'm not going to be able to sleep if I don't say something I'm 99% sure you know. Bookstores are allowed to RETURN books they don't sell and it's one of the many reasons why various publishing companies go down is because they get stuck with books they thought they sold but didn't.

I don't plan on publishing it myself.

Let's just say he wouldn't be punching anyone's head off.

Beat Superman almost to death with a Kryptonite-laced rubber chicken? Maybe.

I'd pay good money to see that happen.

If I had to choose, I'd say DC; but they might fit in better as neighbors in Tranquility.

Toy Boy would probably try to wedgie the Liberty Snots.

Meh. Supes can handle it. Besides, what's he going to say at the next superhero meeting? That he got beaten up by a rubber chicken? No way!

Well, that's just silly. They're not comic characters, after all, they're real people like me and Snarf.

But if they ever had a book made after them . . . DCU.

P.S.: I, too, can't wait to get the color trade. The page above reminded me just how much I love those cuddly guys and dolls.

To answer your question, I'd prefer Marvel because I'm a Marvel girl at heart. Although seeing a fight between Toy Boy, Harley, and the Joker would probably make me pee myself with joy. I guess it's a toss up.

My, that would be a twisted love triangle, wouldn't it?

Personally, like a lot of you, I think the HB crew would work best in the DCU.

For example, Toy Boy is a character that really isn't represented in their universe. He's neither hero nor villain, he ruled mostly by impulse, and he's functionally insane. He could be a hinderance or help to anyone depending on his mood, except the other HB members, which he will always have their backs...whether they like it or not.
