Bob's coming back! Wooo! I can't believe the complete turn around in my eyes that Way's gone through writing Deadpool. At the end of Wolverine Origins I was sure this was going to be terrible, but now each new piece of info has me excited about the direction of this book.

I, too, am happily surprised by how well Way's been doing with Deadpool. Bob coming back is great news. And Wade meeting Eric O'Grady should be gold!

This is going to be good. Wade will pretty much beat the crap out the T Bolts on his way to get Norman. I just hope him and Norman will get to fight and Norman just doesn't buy him off.

I thought he just stuck with him because he was a hostage and later on because he had nowhere else to go and sort of got himself a job with Agent X.

The new cast of Thunderbolts have given Way plenty of interesting ideas for scenes, especially former Iron Man foe, Ghost. “There's a cool scene later on in the story arc involving Ghost that I'm just stoked to see,” he said. “I can't wait to see how it's going to turn out.”
ahh, confirmation that it is the Iron Man villain instead of a new Ghost. cool. he was appropriately quirky in Iron Man: The Inevitable. this t-bolts team is a sausage fest. i'm now betting that Songbird escapes somehow and appears in the book as something other than a tbolt.

Well that's how I read it. But then, I'm not the literary genius who created Daken!

I love that Jason Pearson Deadpool #6 cover but why does Tiger Shark keep fluctuating in appearance?
Sometimes he looks like this:

well it's not that unusual considering that he originally looked mostly human (except for the fangs), rapidly evolved into something far less humanoid, went back to human for a while, and was back to rabid beast form when he was part of Crimson Cowl's t-bolts. that makes it a pattern. so his fluctuating mutation is consistent.

A part of me hopes for good things, but the other part likes how Wade is getting F'd over more often than not. I kinda like seeing Wilson on the short end, cuz it only helps to fuel his psycho side, at least as long as it's not taken to the point where he loses his sense of humor.
There's no way he'll take down Norm, he's too important to what Marvel's got going on, but I think Wade'll f*ck a few of the Bolts up in the process.

His She-Hulk appearance when he was in the "Big House" was sort of the last time I saw him in that form aside from the T-Bolts appearance you mentioned.
Has his fluctuating states been explained in the comics?

Which is why Norman is going to pay him a large sum when Wade gets to the top of the tower and points a barrel directly at his head.
Deadpool isn't a hero, although he occassionaly really tries to be sometimes, he's a mercenary first and he doesn't give a **** that The Green Goblin is top cop, all Norman has to do is give him a crapload of hush money and he'll go away but it's no surprise that Norman's ego wouldn't let him give into Deadpool until he'll inevitably have to.

hard to say. Moonstone wondered aloud why he had devolved when he showed up w/ Crimson Cowl's masters of evil. but that's the last i remember hearing about it. he was fully human in appearance when he showed up in New Warriors (reality tv show version), as well. i do think his genes are all kinds of jacked up though. maybe he becomes more shark-like while he's healing from injuries. they could explain it that way.

possibly. or he could, as a final act, let the Sentry/Void beat Wade within an inch of his life, drop him off in some foreign country, and make sure Deadpool knows that his life is in jeopardy if he opens his mouth. Norman's kind of crazy, himself. he could also ruin Deadpool's reputation in a way that no one would believe the dirt he's got on Osborn. he got rid of Robbie by having him institutionalized. couldn't he, concievably, do the same to Deadpool? what news outlet would believe that Norman stole some secret plan to take down the skrulls from a crazy?

i hope he f*cks up that guy in the hockey mask and Mister X. they are the evilest of the T-bolts crew. the others should get away w/ beatings or, in Headsman's case, a maiming. and i'm very curious about this scene w/ the Ghost. is he going to phase Deadpool part-way into a wall like he did Spymaster?

no but who else could it be? it looks exactly like Mister X. plus he has the pedigree to be one of Osborn's killers. he literally lives for this stuff.

yeah, pretty much everyone was suprised. it's an out-of-leftfield choice. but that's the same w/ most of the cast. this is the first time i've seen a lineup of Thunderbolts and had to do research to figure out who they were. i hope that Diggle can make them entertaining.

Doubt it.
This is going to be between Norman and his secret Thunderbolts, I don't think the DAs will be anywhere near this storyline.
I definitely expect Deadpool to come out on top in an ironic fashion.
He could put an end to the menace of Norman Osborn/Green Goblin and the Dark Reign but he chooses the money.
Norman's biggest problem is going to be that he doesn't think he needs any of that to beat Wade, he's sending frickin Tiger Shark after him as a first measure.
Deadpool faced down a horde of symbiote dinosaurs and came out the victor, it's going to to take alot more than a guy dressed like a shark to kill him.
He's going to underestimate Wade and treat him like a third class threat and thats exactly why Deadpool is going to one up and get the drop on him.

Iron Man # 220
http://www.milehighcomics.com/cgi-bin/backissue.cgi?action=fullsize&issue=42856589026%20220
"Roxxon executive Carrington Pax hired the industrial saboteur known as the Ghost to commit acts of destruction that would lead to Accutech's financial ruin in order to buy out the company through bankruptcy. Due to the intervention of Iron Man, the Ghost failed to complete Accutech's destruction. Displeased with the Ghost's lack of success, Pax fired the Ghost and hired Spymaster to continue the sabotage of Accutech. Ghost would intervene during Spymaster's sabotage of Accutech, which soon lead to a confrontation with Iron Man. The Ghost pretended that he wanted to help Spymaster, presumably since Iron Man was after both of them. The two teamed up against Iron Man until the Ghost betrayed Spymaster by removing Spymaster's intangibility device causing him to rematerialize partially inside a wall, causing Spymaster's immediate death."

I want to say that the first time Tiger Shark mutated like that was in Byrne's Namor run, but I'm not positive about that.

Wade can't be killed and all that would do is make him come after Norman again. Norman has to outsmart Wade. As for Norman ruin Deadpools rep. He could do that, but why would he want that info out there even if it comes from some one know one would believe. Norman cant take a chances that some one will look into what Deadpool is saying cause it would make him look bad.

It's a couple things. One, Dillon was the wrong artist for that book. Two, Way made a pre-Wolverine Logan into the biggest raging a-hole villain henchman you'll ever meet. Three, he had pacing issues. But since Deodato, the book has really improved. Actually, I'd say since the Captain America arc. But that's me.

still looks like Raoul Bushman to me. that pic makes him look like a dark-skinned male mercenary. plus he's ugly enough that he has to wear a hockey mask. Raoul had his face ripped off. the jagged cuts made on the hockey mask match Bushman's own filed down metal teeth. there just aren't that many people it could be unless it's a brand new character. I'll be surprised if it's Bushman, given that his "ghost" as Khonshu has been so tied to the Moon Knight book.
I also don't see Bushman putting on something like hockey mask to cover his torn off face. He'd go all out with a scary skull mask of some kind. But who knows. It really does seem like he's a likely candidate.

the hockey mask, very obviously, has a face carved into it; a scary face. i'm not saying that this proves it's Bushman. i'm just saying that it's not just a plain old hockey mask. and it wasn't Bushman's ghost. it was Khonshu picking a form to encourage Marc to be his 'servant.' and since Spector seems to be getting replaced, what better time for Bushman to resurface.?
