If MacDuffie wrote it: Blood Syndicate.

If anyone else wrote it: Secret Six.

Flashback and Kwai give the Syndicate the edge. Difficult to stop a street gang with a goddess as a member. I love the Six but there's just no way.

Yeah, Blood Syndicate has more powerhouses AND more members.

Ah, but we don't know WHAT the new member, Jeannette is. She is "The Last Victim" and she obviously has more than ordinary human strength since she ripped off King Shark's (or was that Killer Shark, god I forget) freakin' arm and made it look like it was no big deal!

Plus, Deadshot is somewhat insane. The man has no fear of death and (as any good Secret Service Agent will tell you) those who have no fear of death are the hardest to predict, the hardest to control, and the hardest to defeat.

If that was true.. then Green Arrow would be undefeated... instead of the most easily defeated Hero at DC... GOD DAMMIT WINICK!

Wise Son is indestructible. Literally. Deadshot, Scandal, Catman and Ragdoll could do nothing against him that he couldn't beat. Kwai is a battle goddess. Flashback can avoid any lethal hit she is aware of. Masquerade can be anything she can think of. Brickhouse and DMZ are in Wonderman class of strength and invulnerability. As is 3rd Rail once he gets juiced up.

The Six are simply overmatched both numerically and power-wise. No contest.

Well, not really. I suppose I should amend that. Ollie may (or may not) have a fear of death but he sees himself as having a lot to live for -- Dinah's love, his "daughter" Mia, his son Connor, his "son" Roy... Ollie has a family.

Deadshot, on the other hand, has nothing to live for. When he found out about his daughter it seemed like this might give him something to live for but when he realized (in the "Secret Six" mini-series) that his presence in her life would ALWAYS put her in danger he decided to cut all ties with her and he pretty much went back to having nothing to live for. Floyd continues to exist simply because he exists.

So I guess I should say it is a combination of not fearing death and not seeing anything to live for.

Whenever I pitch the Six versus another team, I always imagine the Six getting their asses kicked. I'm probably the only writer who thinks having her characters get beaten is as fun as having them win.

I've had this conversation many times.

"Hey! Let's have the Six face the Outsiders/Doom Patrol/Suicide Squad/Tiny Titans/Groovy Ghoulies/Care Bears and have the Six get their ASSES kicked!"

And don't forget Fade who is.... gay and named after his hairstyle.

The Syndicate is hardcore. I vote for them, but the Six are Underdogs. I expect a dirty, yet entertaining fight!

Gay and Dominican.

What is it with Dominican superheroes all being gay?

All this is presuming a straight up fight with no planning or advance prep.

Given enough data and time to plan, the Six could take out or otherwise neutralize most of the Syndicate. The problems would be Fade, Kwai, Flashback and Masquerade who would still likely win in a brawl but it would be a closer fight.

Who are the Blood Syndicate?

The Blood Syndicate are quite literally a street gang with superpowers.
