The show "Bones" had a reference also. David Boreanaz (who plays "Booth" on the show and did the voice of Hal/GL in "The New Frontier") was kicking back in a bathtub with a beer-helmet reading a GL comic in an episode last season.

The more I think about this, I seem to remember a thing where you could pay X amount of dollars to Hogan and he'd record you a personal message and you'd get a DVD of it. My wife was going to do it for me (because I'm a wrestling geek and still mark for Hogan) but, sadly, she never did.

I post as OLD SCHOOL on the gl site and while the gesture of the hulkster was sweet.

theres a poster who posts on www.thegreenlantercorps.com website claiming to actually be him and with that I laugh
