Where is the best 'jump on' point in Action Comics? Issue 846, 847, 848, 849, or 850?

Thanks for your input.

I'm thinking of collecting Superman back to issue 650 and Action Comics back to issue 850 (or one of the issues above). Is this a good jump-on point for each title?

I'd start with #844, actually - the first part of LAST SON, Geoff Johns' first ish on the series. The storyline ran from #844 to 846, then 851, then Annual #11. During those gaps there were fill-in stories by other creators (incl. Dwayne McDuffie, Kurt Busiek and Renato Guedes).

Since #851, though, the series has been Johns' show (with Richard Donner co-writing for a while, and art by Eric Powell and Gary Frank).

Thanks for the input. I went ahead and bought all the way back to issue 837 so I'd have all the crossovers...so now my Action comics run is from 837 all the way to the current issue. Thanks for all the information.
