I've been obsessed with Mattina's covers ever since I saw his work on Nova. All his other Thunderbolts covers are brilliant as well.

yeah, the art isnt bad, it just doesnta ppeal to me at all. i actually much prefer the cover to deadpool shown earlier in this thread

i wish i knew. Diggle's staying tight-lipped. he has to be important since he's the only member of the cast that he hasn't confirmed. i think it's Raoul Bushman (Moon Knight ripped off his face). but Raoul's supposed to be dead. other guesses have been Crossbones, Fool Killer, a new Jack O'Lantern, Cottonmouth, and Marc Spector; himself.

he's kind of dark skinned on the cover. this and the jagged pattern on the face mask make me think it's Bushman. he was very proud of his metal teeth and deathshead face paint (or was that a tattoo?). since Marc Spector ripped his face off, maybe the hockey mask is to cover what was underneath. i'm imagining him removing the hockey mask to tear someone's throat out w/ the metal teeth. if hockey mask dude was missing an eye, i would have said it's Barricuda; while rooting for it to be Foolkiller.
