Today I stumbled upon the following picture:

http://wall.alphacoders.com/images/Comics/thumbbig-Comics-Other-11205.jpg (http://wall.alphacoders.com/images/Comics/Comics-Other-11205.jpg)

It looks intruiging enough for me to want to know what storyline/comic this is from. Can anyone help me?

Seriously suggest checking it out, Reggie! Pick up a Marvel Premiere edition hardback of Hulk: The End. It includes Hulk: Future Imperfect, and Hulk: The End.

Possibly two of the best Hulk tales ever commited to paper.

After you read Future Imperfect be sure to pick up:

The Incredible Hulk
What Savage Beast
by Peter David w/ illustrations by George Perez

ISBN:0-399-14104-9

Yep, its a novel and sort of a part two-ish -- and its great!

You can probably pick it up for a few bucks on ebay (like I did)

I do have Future Imperfect, but looking at the picture in this thread I am wondering something. How is it possible that Thor's hammer is there? Isn't the hammer supposed to become a stick after 60 seconds? And if not is there anyone who can lift the hammer? I don't remember anyone being able to lift the hammer.

i like how Beast's skinned on the wall and the red skull's skull in a pile of other skulls.

Yeah, that's such an awesome spread. I was just reading FI again about a month back and was suprised just how much I'd forgotten.

The 60 second limitation has been removed, added back and removed again over the years depending on whether Thor had a human alter ego or or not (and probably other reasons/times).

And in a later Captain Marvel story (also by PAD) we find out that at some point in Rick Jones' future he becomes worthy to lift Mjolnir. In fact, Thor passed the hammer onto him just before he died.

Yep , the hammer was certainly intact as well in the future embedded in rock when dargo became the future thor after he lifted it.

Something I don't think I've ever noticed before in this piece - are those the Mar-Vell's Negabands being used as flowerpots on top of Cap's shrine?

Probably since you can look down at the wall where the flower pots are and see captain mar-vell's picture with the bands.
Mind you , Rick's collection also included what seemed to be the city of kandor.

What are the bricks from?

The Baxter Bldg.?

Avengers Mansion?

Strange's home?

I think I see the Serpent Crown I never saw before.

Anything from Namor in there? I see a trident-looking thing but it looks too small...

Would've been cool to have a pair of Hulk's pants lying around, too.

I always loved the poster of Jean Grey as Phoenix that says "Dead Again?" on it. I'll leave it for you all to find!

The most ridiculous part of that image is that Maestro even bothered to display Shatterstar's dual-sword.

oh and while we are at it, are those bricks the remains of benjamin grimm?
otherwise the ff would be seriously underrepresented

Lol, hilarious.

A few points. The Bricks would most likely represent The Absorbing Man. It's not just heroes on the page.

The trophies and dedications dont just represent nuclear warfare around the world. Many of them were the Hulk destroying his opponents. It's very possible that The Maestro killed Thor, rather than a nuclear explosion. However, its left to the reader to ponder.

Lastly, PAD was quoted on this forum as saying George Perez was his favorite artist to work with. That is a very tall compliment to both men.

The green brick is Thanatos, a future version of Rick Jones. Not sure the other ones.

It's Rick Jones' room. Maestro has nothing to do with that place. And I think Rick loves that vintage 90's superhero stuff! Why not?

I'd like to see Hulk kill the Surfer or a nuclear explosion kill the Surfer.

Thanks for the explanation.

And I didn't even notice Beast's skin. Now that was cruel.

That image is so cool. It shows the defeat of praticaly everyone in the MU with a single item of clothing or a weapon they use.

Ben's remains are inside the Sentinel's head.

Plus, the Fantasticar is hanging in the background too.
