Looking to get some back issues of Superman...can anyone tell me if issue 670 was the beginning of a new story arc?
Thanks.

#670 was the awesome(IMHO) conclusion to Kurt Busiek's Third Kryptonian 3 part storyline. (Rick leonardi done the art for this arc)
This issue was oversized with at least 40 pages, the story was broken down into several chapters.
#671 #672 and #673 was part 1,2 and 3 of the Insect Queen arc. which was pretty good.
Then he closed out his run on superman with #674 and #675 with a two part Paragon arc which featured the Galactic Golem and the last page was a nice little preview of what was going to happen in Trinity.
with Krona's big hands circling superman.

Thanks for all the input.
A couple questions since I believe you are a Superman expert:
1) With what issue did Busiek start Superman?
2) Is issue 658 the start of a new story arc?
Thanks again for all the input.

Thanks for all the input....do you know which issues of Action Comics Superman 650-653 crossed over with.
I'm thinking of collection Action Comic Comics back to issue 850 and Superman back to issue 650. IYO, are these two good 'jump-on' points?
Thanks.

SUPERMAN 650-653 crossover with ACTION COMICS 837-840.
Starting AC at 850 isn't a bad idea, but 851 is part 4 of the LAST SON arc, otherwise contained in 844-846 and Annual 11. I'd say LAST SON is the only important storyline after UP UP AND AWAY and 850.

So if I'm going to start Superman at 650, I guess my best bet would just to start Action Comics at 837 (so I'll have the crossover issues) and work my way up?
Thanks again for all your tremendous help!!!
