After 4 issues of fill-ins, this felt like a return to form for this title.
Seriously, if you left the title after Johns/Katz left, this is a good time to return, as Jurgens fills the books with the same trademark humor (Booster flees Medieval Italians! Booster ponders his toyline!) and heart (specifically, a scene where guest star Ralph Dibny asks Booster about his future with Sue, and Booster ponders his response carefully.)
There's also a new mysterious villain (we don't know anything about him, except that he's shadowy and pink), and the typical amount of action.
Plus, Michelle poses for Leonardo Da Vinci.
