I tried commenting on this on the other thread but everyone's too busy crying over losing Geoff Johns on JSA.
I’m ready to move on to some other challenges like returning to THE FLASH and SUPERMAN: SECRET ORIGIN. And I am also obsessed with making sure that GREEN LANTERN, BLACKEST NIGHT and everything around it is the absolute best it can possibly be. ...and that’s only part of 2009. There are some new projects on the horizon.by the time 2009 is over I'll be back on three monthly books.We know that he won't be on Action Comics by the time 2009 is over because the Nightwing and Flamebird story will be going for at least 12 issues and begins sometime after February.

As such, I think the 3 ongoings will be:
* Flash
* Green Lantern
* Adventure Comics

Adventure Comics would fit with being a project "on the horizon."

What do others think the 3 series will be?

The Flash:Rebirth
The Flash Ongoing title after Rebirth
Green Lantern:The Blackest Night
Green Lantern ongoing
Hopefully legion of Superheroes ongoing or Adventure comics.
A JLA or Batman Related mini would be a nice Treat to fans.
A starman mini series with Scott Kollins would be nice.

I'd pretty much support anything this guy writes,

Probably fallout from blackest night.

Flash, GL and Adventure (staring the Legion of course) are the three most obvious choices. Johns could return to Action (after the superman origin mini) rather then Adventure, but who knows? I'm just pleased he'll be writing GL and Flash!

If he returned to the Flash ongoing after 6 issues of Rebirth that would be the biggest fangasm for me ever.

his 61 issue(specials,annuals,tie ins,one shots included) Flash run is one of my favourite runs in comics ever.

Yeah, if he made the Flash enjoyable for me again, it would definitely soothe the sting of missing him on my favorite book (JSA).

Up there with Morrison as my fave DC scribe. I'll read whatever he writes.

Hasn't Adventure been teased as being a revolving cast with revolving creators?

Probably fallout from blackest night.

That one is my big bet. We know for sure he'll be handling Green Lantern and Flash: Rebirth, but other than that, I really haven't a clue.

Good lord, I hope it has a revolving creator roster. I'm starting to die of Geoff Johns fatigue. Great writer and all, but c'mon. Slow down a little.

Slow down a little.Even if it doesn't have a revolving creator roster, there's no guarantee it will have Geoff Johns on the book. Its all speculation until the end of this month.

Has Johns said he's still going to be on Green Lantern after Blackest Night? Because it wouldn't be hard to see that being the end of his run.

Flash is definitely one of them though. Bringing back Barry Allen is too big of a project to be accomplished in less than a year and then hand it off to some other writer.

I think Batgirl: Rebirth is a big possibility, which is something I have really mixed feelings about.

I hope he is writing Power of Shazam with Jerry Ordway. Starting off with issue 48 of the old series. :)
