I took a day off from work today. Spent it with the family. Had an amazingly great day. Didn't record the podcast. I'll get it done tomorrow night. In the meantime, here's the Top Ten list I'll be working from:

10. Watchmen #1 (New Printing), $1.50
9. Green Arrow Black Canary #15, $2.99
8. Savage Dragon #142, $3.50
7. Secret Invasion Dark Reign (Regular Alex Maleev Cover), $3.99 (8 whole story pages)
Astonishing X-Men Ghost Boxes #2 (of 2), $3.99 (16 whole story pages)
6. Punisher War Zone #1 (of 6)(Regular Steve Dillon Cover), $3.99
5. Hulk 100 Project TP, $10.00 (HERO Initiative)
4. Camelot 3000 HC (Deluxe Edition), $34.99
3. Final Crisis #5 (of 7)(Cover A Character Cover), $3.99
2. Wonderful Wizard Of Oz #1 (of 8)(Regular Skottie Young Cover), $3.99
1. Daredevil Man Without Fear Premiere HC (Book Market Edition), $24.99

I'm very excited about #1. I loved that book when it first came out. Beautiful work by JR JR there.

Yeah - I wish he still drew like that.

Really? 8 pages? On top of the SI: Requiem solicit from last week? If so, this very disappointing...

Me too. I still love his storytelling skills but kind of wish that he still drew in the style from his first Punisher War Zone arc and/or first run on (adjectiveless) Spider-Man. I loved the old chunky JR Jr art style!

Whoops, I think I might be getting my crossover tie-in books confused. Looks like Dark Reign #1 is a full-issue story, not just 8 pages. Can anyone confirm who got the issue today?

Also -- this week's column is recorded and sitting on the CBR servers, waiting to clear the cache, eventually. . .
