The art looks a tad different because if your a howard porter fan ya know he hurt his hand and doing the best he can.
The preview- Hmmmm gar's parent didnt die by a boat accident? ok lets see how this turns out.
But It seems to look pretty good. Not feeling the look of the new tower though. But I plan on continuing reading this title. It has gotten better

well let me say I found it enjoyable. The art was ok considering porter is hurting right now.
Looks like joey never actually made contact. But does seem to be "taken over" by someone or something else. They say hes gonna be a kick ass villain. But from what I hear, that wont last long and he wont be dying anytime soon.
more spoilers later on

Any chance Joey going bad again could explain the horrible characterization Deathstroke's gotten since his return? Otherwise they can just kill Jericho off again as far as i'm concerned, I've never really liked him that much anyways. The art was really good considering whats up with Porter

I thought this was a return to horrible. The only decent issue so far was the one with Gar and Raven, IMHO.
The exposition on the first page was like something a highschool kid would write in his fan comic. The art was disappointing. The "lockdown" idea has been done too many times before, including not so long ago by Winick in Outsiders.

OMG what has happened to Porter? Why does he draw so many sideways looking faces? Wonder girl or whatever she's called now looks like she's had a stroke. Is he drawing through a fish-eye lens?
It's so bad I couldn't read WTH is going on in those pages.

Dear lord that is a bad preview. Its like the characters care more for bad jokes and trying to be a TV Comedy than a super hero team. Horrible utter crap. The Titans franchise is tanking fast and Didio sits and watches thinking this is interesting ? Screams fail.

He injured his hand and that limits his fine motor control. Hopefully, it will get better with time. I guess it's kind of cool of DC to give him work even though he clearly is not back to where he once was.

This issue started fine for me and ended with "WTF?!?!?" Holy waste of time filler, Batman!
Yeah, given Porter's injuries, let's give him a bit more time to work on his art. Hopefully he gets back to his old form soon.

first off its obvious joe has been taken over by someone or something. hes as strong as donna and vic, fast as flash....
he never ever made contact with any of the titans.
it has been adressed also in this issue, by raven "why can jericho talk"
joe also mentioned something similiar that his father did during the judas contract- How dick is the strongest- (something to that effect)
from what I hear, jericho wont be a villain for to long and wont be getting killed off. so I'm hoping he rejoins the titans

Keep porter! I've seen worse art in comics where there was no injury as an excuse

Well, I thought Porter never was such a great artist in the first place. I quit his JLA after only three issues way back when Morrison was writing it cause I didn't care much for the artwork. His work today hardly seems that much worse than back then. And after the terrible "anorectic" artowrk on this new Titans relaunch before, it's hardly a big detoriation.
I really fear that this desperate attempt to bring back glory to the Titans franchize was ill-fated from the beginning and in the meanwtime has failed utterly. I mean, first bringing back Trigon, then making Jericho evil again? Did Winnick ever hear the word "originality"?

For me, Titans is the most depressing book on the stands. This should be a flagship title; a tentpole for the DCU with A-list creators. Instead we have another half-assed relaunch with low to midlevel talent giving an uninspired take on these characters. I'm officially giving up on this run.

Yes but didn't this all take place in Nightwing's head? I'm not sure that in reality he has the physical prowess displayed, at least that's what I got out of the twist ending.

It's not me, but how in the world are any of you suppose to believe me?
Isn't the editor suppose to catch obvious mistakes like this?

Lots of jokes...Gunther shows up at the Coffee Perk , Monica and Chandler are having a fight and.....ohh ya meant DC's version of "Friends" ? No clue...

No...he'll bring back the Wildebeests soon and do the whole "Titans Hunt" storyline next. With just more moronic humor and some sex perhaps if he's in the mood.

Johns had him turn good (in the end ) and had him and Rose working on being brother and sister.

He's busy fetching Judd's coffee as he gives him the thumbs up.

Joey wasn't able to talk from the time he was a kid, I think I can forgive him for a very slight grammatical error that doesn't change what he was actually saying.
And yes, all those extra powers and stuff Joey displayed, was all in Nightwing's head. The new powers he DOES actually have, appear to be being able to control somebody's body without them being aware of it, and giving them funky visions in their own minds.

I did not like Johns Titans that much as well. I like Johns JSA and Green Lantern, those are fantastic, but his Titans... hit and miss at best. But I didn't like any Titans incarnation in this decade. The last one I liked was Dan Jurgens' with all the new characters like Argent and Joto. It was much better than its reputation, but never had a chance cause everyone wanted the old cast back. It had great art and fun stories.
Now we have the original cast back, but no stories and sub-par artwork. Go figure...

I know, but see something happened outside the titans comic to joey which I dont think judd had total control over. Might have something to do with final crisis.
I think either next issue or the issue after that will tell us what happened.
either way, I know jericho wont be getting killed off

Actually it seemed to me at the end like Jericho wasn't really evil at all, but that what he did to Dick was somehow necessary to deal with some upcoming crisis.

Well, I'm really enjoying this series. Once again, I see nothing wrong with the writing or characterizations. That's all I'm gonna say about that.

I like it to the stories could be better but I have read far worse. I don't get to workerd up over art work usually unless it is really really bad
