I would like to start reading Golden age and post-Silver age comics but I dont know what collection I should get. Should I get Batman Chronicles, The Greatest Batman Stories Ever Told, Showcase presents Batman, or a collection I have not listed?

If you want to read ALL the golden age Batman stories, you should start getting Batman Chronicles, from the beginning. If you just want to sample them, you could pick up the single trade, "Batman in the Forties."
Did you actually mean to say POST silver age?

Thats what I said, only not in caps. I'll look up that Batman in the 40's book on Amazon, thanks

Well, post-silver age would basically be 1970's and onward. So again, if you're just wanting to sample, you could pick up Batman in the Seventies and Batman in the Eighties.

Tales of the Demon is way better than any of the Decade anthologies. The 70's and 80's are actually pretty depressing and mind boggling when you consider the good stuff they left out. There's no funny goofy stuff in Tales of the Demon though, if that's what you're after. honestly the Silver Age stories will probably be underwhelming if you pay for them. If you want the really good Silver Age crack then get a Bob Haney Brave & the Bold Showcase volume. those issues are absolutely mental. If it's the darker Golden Age pulp you want then start with Chronicles 1.
The Best of Batman, I'd suggest you skip those because most of the good issues can be found in other far worthier collections, eventually you'll end up owning doubles.
If you have not looked into Strange Apparitions I'd really suggest you do that as well
