I'm a little confused about the order of the trades for Superman at the moment, the one's collecting the post-OYL stuff.
I've got Back In Action, Redemption, Last Son and Escape From Bizzarro world... and can quite easily fit these all around each other in my tiny brain... but with all the others it's starting to get confusing.
Anyone got a rough order of which to read them?
I'm manly interested in the Busiek and Johns stuff.
Also, when did the Fortress Of Solitude and multiple Kryptonites come back?
They weren't mentioned in either Back In Action or Redemption, but seem firmly established in Last Son.
Any help would be appreciated!

Off the top of my head, anything Busiek wrote that's got Chris Kent in it slots into a gap of time in Last Son. The Third Kryptonian, I think, fits into that time period; IIRC Camelot Falls takes place before it.
The FoS came back in "Back in Action" didn't it? The multicolour Kryptonite was fallout from Infinite Crisis and explained in Action Comics Annual #11. I think.

Now that I think of it, the FoS came back at the end of "Up, Up, and Away" and not "Back in Action".

Also, now that I think of it, the second bit of Camelot Falls takes place in the Last Son time gap too. Chris Kent was there at the conlcusion of it.

Any chance anyone's got a list of the trades from the post OYL about?
DC's website is useless when it comes to trying to figure out the order of trades.

Well glad I picked up Lost Son before part two of that came out...
Then again, they don't seem to be in a rush to print it...

I usually just use the list over at the Superman Homepage (http://www.supermanhomepage.com/comics/comics-index-lists/comics-slist-intro.php) and then go from there.

Due to the delays, some stuff is a bit...wonky. So you might want to print this off.
"Up, Up & Away" leads into "Back In Action". "Last Son" you need to read all of Action Comics #844 and #845 right up to the last four pages. Trust me on this. Then you should read "Camelot Falls" volume one, "Redemption", "Camelot Falls" volume two, "3-2-1 Action", "The Third Kryptonian", "Shadows Linger" and then the rest of "Last Son". You should also pick up Action Comics #850 by itself. Otherwise you'd have to get it with "Supergirl: Beyond Good & Evil". Then read "Escape From Bizarro's World" and "Superman & The Legion Of Super-Heroes". Also get Action Comics Annual #10. Very important to have that and read it before reading "Last Son".
Also, when did the Fortress Of Solitude and multiple Kryptonites come back?
You'll want "Up, Up & Away" for the Fortress and the multicolored Kryptonite debuted in "Superman/Batman: Public Enemies".

So I'm assuming I should read them in that order, before the end of Last Son, as the last Son goes away at the end?
Because being halfway through it, haven't noticed anything not making sense from what I've read before, just the kryptonite and the fortress being back.
Are Action Comics #850 and Annual #10 'important' reads, or just uncollected one's?
Any reason they aren't collected?
Don't mind spoilers too much on the broad strokes (ie. It didn't phase my enjoyment of GL: Rebirth knowing that Hal must be back as the ongoing was out by the time I read it).

Yeah. There was a big delay which had partially to do with artist Adam Kubert and rather than letting another artist finish the story, it was delayed. Later, writer Kurt Busiek dealt with the child in "The Third Kryptonian" and "Shadows Linger" which expanded on the character and made his character richer. Geoff Johns then added a reference to "The Third Kryptonian" in the conclusion of "Last Son".

Right.

Action Comics Annual #10 has five stories and two profile pages. The first story featuring Lex recounting the various ways to kill Superman. The second story is from Clark's youth featuring a re-telling of his first meeting with Mon-El, who reappears in "Last Son" and "Shadows Linger". The third story is sets up "Escape From Bizarro's World". The fourth story recounts the origin of General Zod and sets up "Last Son". The final story also ties into "Last Son" and explains the multicolored Kryptonite. Why this wasn't collected hasn't been revealed.
Action Comics #850 features Supergirl during her time with the Legion getting a chance to look back into the past and she chooses to look at Superman's life. Bits and pieces of his history are shown and at the end was a teaser of sorts for "Brainiac" and "New Krypton". This was collected with "Supergirl: Beyond Good & Evil", since it sets up the rest of the collection of stories. But it is by a different creative team and the stories are okay, but not great. You're best off reading it as a single issue.

Camelot Falls Part 2 and Shadows Linger are still yet to be released, right?
I've gotten all the others - heck of a lot happened during that day they took Chris Kent to the Daily Planet - but have yet to see these two.

"Shadows Linger" is on sale this week. "Camelot Falls" volume two is out now, but in hardcover.

Yeah, but I got the first part in soft cover, and it wasn't that great I want to spend the extra bit of dosh on the HC.
Hopefully it all gets a little less confusing when the books all tie into each other - hopefully they'll all be collected in the one trade.

Well, the paperback version of "Camelot Falls" won't be out for a while yet.
