Hello all, I have a small kid and I am just getting prepared up to make it good on his birthday which is around the corner. He is a book-lover and likes comics with superman being his fav. Now, I don’t get enough free time and the gift I had like to get him would be a collection of his fav heroes’ comics. There have been some online stores that I had visited but did not find any interesting stuff. Any suggestions to make his present a good one?

Well hey =)

As your son is a superman fan I would advise asking in the Superman forums as most fans will most likely be posting/reading there. They will be able to recommend arcs that are well liked - though ofc there will be some variations in opinions to a degree.

Another idea would be to say what age your son is, as some comic arcs can deal with more hardcore stuff vs. <insert fighting random alien or gimmick super villian>

Sorry I can't be of more help, but I don't read much DC and nor Superman.

I'd suggest the Superman Adventures digests. They're widely available (at Amazon (http://www.amazon.com/Superman-Adventures-Vol-Up-Away/dp/1401203310/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1228400302&sr=8-1), for instance) and they're good for just about any age.

Oh yeah, seconded that. They're great stuff!
