Limited edition

I'm curious about what you have in your TBR Pile.
Here's mine in no particular order:
Naruto 19
Hellboy Library Edition 1
Joker
batman: Year One
BPRD vol01
Star Wars Legacy vol02
Star Wars Legacy vol03
V for Vendetta
Marvel masterworks: Silver Surfer vol02
Warcraft Sunwell trilogy ultimate edition
5 or 6 comics...
I know it's not that big, but i think it's a pretty good selection of comics.
Today i'm going to read Naruto and joker and if I have time the first half of hellboy.

God... I've got like 5-6 long boxes full of back issues, but I can't even get to them. At the moment, I've got all of last week's books and then about another 8-9 books. That's like 25 comics. Of tpb's that I can think of:
- Tons of golden age marve masterworks. I just got All-Winners 3.
- A bunch of manga. I started on Parasyte, but I have vol's 3-5 left. I also have a bunch of Path of the Assasin.
- the most recent Dark Tower HC
- 100 Bullets
- Nightly News
- Fables Vol 11
I know there's more, but that's all I can think of.

Hellboy Library Edition 1
BPRD vol01
Around TPB 3, BPRD gets really, really good. However, you should read Hellboy: Conqueror Worm before getting to that (the fifth TPB and I'm assuming it'll be in the 3rd hardcover).
Watchmen
You haven't read Watchmen?
I have a "to re-read" pile, but I'm caught up with my reading beyond that. I usually finish my weekly books the day I buy them, but that's not too large any given week.
My re-read pile right now is:
-Midnighter 6-9 (Just read the first five, which feature Midnighter kicking Hitler in the nuts...repeatedly. Thank you, Ennis.)
-Sky Doll
-The first Annihilation series
and I'm slowly making my way through Cerebus again.
There is a ton of stuff I still want to read, but I'm done buying books through Christmas. Catching up on Fear Agent is a priority (2 TPBs in).

I don't even want to think about my TBR pile. It's about 6 or so metres of graphic novels and probably two or three longboxes worth of comics (which are in the loft and realistically probably never going to be reached)

It's gonna be a while before I can really get to my tru "unread" box either. The movers come on Saturday, so I'll be in the new house then. However then the POD has to get delivered the following week, so there will be MUCH organizig over the next few weeks.
At least I was smart enough to make a box of unread stuff and stick in my cube at work (where I am right now) so I can dip into it if I feel like it. I just swapped 2 vol.'s of PARASYTE for the next 2 and when I looked in there I saw:
- AMERICAN FLAGG HC vol 1
- THOR Simonson 4 & 5 (waiting fore vol 3 to be re-issued)
- INVADERS 1 & 2 (started, just not finished)
- Age of Bronze HC vol. 3
- more manga
- 2 Clifford Meth books
- a stack of random back issues. Mostly Defenders I think, between 25-35.

You haven't read Watchmen?
Nope - I have started it a couple of times but have always found something else to read so it gets placed back on the pile. With the movie coming soon, I really need to hunker down and give it a read.

The same happened to me. It took a vacation for me to really dig into it. I've still only read it the 1 time.

The current plan is to take it with me to Atlanta for Christmas. The only thing that would distract me then would be in if I dive back into the Michelinie/McFarlane ASM issues that are sitting in long boxes at my folks house.

I try to have two reading stacks, that get intermingled: New Stuff and Re-Reads.* For the last year or so, I've tried to make it a habit to go back and re-read what's already on my shelves. For one, it alleviates my guilt over spending money on items that were only read once, and two, it refreshes old favorites in my memory. Sometimes the added perspective makes it a better experience. Other times it shows me things that I no longer feel the need to keep.
Crossing Midnight Vol. 1 & 2 (just completed)
Crossing Midnight Vol. 3 (already begun)
Freakangels Vol. 1
Space Raoul
Robin: Violent Tendencies
Fables Vol. 10 (refresher)
Fables Vol. 11
Buffy Season Eight Vol. 2 (refresher)
Buffy Season Eight Vol. 3
Rex Mundi Vol. 1 & 2 (refresher)
Rex Mundi Vol. 3-5
Nightly News
Thor Visionaries: Walt Simonson Vol. 4 & 5
Love and Rockets Library (Part 1): Heartbreak Soup (started it, got distracted when I had to bring work home, and now have to start over)
Modern Masters: Arthur Adams (might move up the list)
Although, the solicitation of the final trade for 100 Bullets will be a virtual starting pistol, as I'll start the series from vol.1 and hopefully be ready for vol. 13 just as it come out.
I'm slowly moving through Essential Tomb of Dracula Vol. 1 and Showcase Presents The Unknown Soldier Vol. 1. I'm enjoying both, but I'm taking my time. Not as concerned as running across spoilers for either of those on the Interwebs.
*This doesn't count books I didn't read right away, that are now languishing in our library waiting for their chance. That number is a touch closer to triple digits than I care to admit.

I'm always confused about these psots, why not just read them instead of posting about not reading them? O.o
In any case, all mine will be read after I get off the internet tonight. They are just the comics from this week. :)

Well personally I read on average 4 TPBs (or 24 comics on average) a week. It's just not fast enough to beat back the pile of new ones that I buy.
My problem is how much I buy, not how much I read.

I am the same way. Buy more books (especially trades) than I have time to read.

Oh, me too. Some stuff, like Essentials and the Golden Age Masterworks, I'll get to in time. I just know I'll want them and I want them for the discount I'm getting now. And for reference when I need it too! But for the most part I get to every modern tpb that I buy in a reasonable time.
And I post about it because I can't read while I'm at work. Except, of course, when I'm at lunch.

It's sad really.

Yeah - I read on my 35 minute walk to and from work each day which would average a book a day, but rain stops me, the dark evenings slow me down and occasionally I drive or get the bus (which makes the journey about 20 minutes). Between that lot the overall average winds up closer to 4 a week.

I usually am able to read my new stuff, a few back issues, and 1-2 tpb's a week. However after moving into a new house on Sat. I've only been able to read at lunchtime, so I'm a bit off schedule.

You can read while walking? That's impressive. I'm lucky I don't fall over without distractions.

It's not too bad. I have a good view downwards just over the top of my comic so I don't step in anything or accidentally walk into the road. I do get caught by the occasional low hanging branch though

batman: Year One
of all the things listed by everyone in this thread this is the one that I will tag with "READ THIS SOON!"
Batman Year One is the comic I lend out to people that ask to borrow a comic. I have never had someone dislike. That goes for Batman fans and non-Batman fans. Mind you this isn't what I lend to people I am forcing comics on, but if someone wants to read a good super-hero comic, then I lend them this - the best batman comic, and possibly the best superhero comic ever.
And its short! READ IT!

My TBR pile got a bit bigger, as I picked up some back issues over the holiday. Some Dazzler, some random Spidey apps, some Barry Windsor-Smith Storytellers (free), and a few cheap Avengers books to almost complete my run. I read some of these and flipped through others.
I did read 1/2 of American Flagg, which I loved! When's teh 2nd HC out?

My TBR pile got a bit bigger,
Mine did, too. In the month since my last post, I've read two of the things on my re-read, got a couple TPBs for myself while ordering things for Christmas, and a couple of books from my sister. My friend also lent me Tom Strong, The Goon: Chinatown, a couple Silver Surfers, and four novels (including Soon I Will Be Invincible, which is really good). I'm still working through that pile.
Then last Friday, another friend gave me four volumes of Death Note and I bought a 400 page Little Nemo book. It's going to take me a couple weeks to catch up on everything.
Soon, I will be ordering the fourth Absolute Sandman and the second Astonishing X-Men hardcover. I need to read all four Sandman volumes as I've been saving them until I got the whole series. Good thing I've read Sandman so many times that I think I can get through it all in a week or so.
EDIT:
My coworker just reminded me that I still have to read the three Heroes for Hire TPBs, the fourth Walking Dead hardcover, and the first two Mighty Avengers TPBs that he is meaning to lend me.
Oy vey.
