You've got X-Men in my Eternals!

You've got Eternals in my X-Men!

Hmmm...

That's right! The X-Men battle the Eternals for three issues of crossover excitement! Check out the info and cover images inside!

The X-Men Versus The Eternals!

As the Eternals wage war against each other in San Francisco , it’s time for the X-Men to save the city in X-Men/Eternals: Manifest Destiny, beginning in Eternals #7! But will the X-Men join Ikaris…or battle him? Enter Eternals #7, kicking off a special three part X-Men: Manifest Destiny tie-in storyline, as the Eternals’ civil war goes to the next level and threatens to engulf all of the western United States! The fan favorite writing duo of Charles & Daniel Knauf team with new series penciller—and cover artist—Eric Nguyen for an x-citing new chapter in the Eternals mythos! Perfect for readers new and old alike, this sets the stage for jaw dropping developments that will reverberate throughout the Marvel Universe!

“The Knaufs have really gotten this book firing on all cylinders,” raves Paul Brian McCoy of Eternals. “Characterizations are consistent, the dialogue is believable, when there are jokes, they are funny, and there are some truly cosmic touches that bring the narrative to a higher thematic level.”

With ties to the top-selling Manifest Destiny storyline and Manifest Destiny branding, Marvel urges retailers to check their orders on Eternals #7. The X-Men and Eternals meet once more—but will they all survive the x-perience?

You can see the covers here (http://www.investcomics.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=96&Itemid=1). Have the Eternals ever actually met the X-Men before?

Sersi gets around.

Uncanny X-Men #307, Avengers (vol. 1) #369 during Bloodties. The Avengers and X-Men battle Exodus.

Not a lot of interaction, but enough, I guess.

I wonder if, during a summit, the Knaufs went around asking for suggestions and got "needs more Wolverine" from someone.

This will eventually lead to the Eternals falling in love with Wolverine and requesting he appear in their monthly.

For some reason this excites me. Eternals so needs to get off the ground. This may help sales wise too

I'm digging the new Eternals series and I'm adding it to my pull list.

Hopefully, this crossover is based on their mutual stomping grounds rather than an attempt to boost sales.

Does anyone know which X-Men will appear in the story?

They'll just wake the sleeping Celestial, which steps on San Francisco, attracts Galactus, then Xavier uses the mind gem to make them both forget Earth existed.

The End

Do you think getting an oppurtunity to throw Wolverine in a Fastball special, as Ikaris is doing on one of the covers, is something other characters in the MU look forward to?

Is it their version of midget tossing?

Ikaris and Pixie met them in x-Men: The Hidden Years #16... or was it 17... well one of them anyway, and they kept tabs on them later on around issue 21 as well.

It's very clear this is just a marketing ruse to get more people to buy Eternals. Frankly I began buying the book but it became boring and I dropped it, it's nothing like the Eternals mini by neil Gaiman and John Romita Jr, that was a great series. A lot of people probably expected this ongoing to be more like that mini and instead we got this very boring ongoing

This "marketting ruse" as one poster put, is pathetic, why would Marvel ever do anything to increase sales? Seriously, how lame. Idiots.
