But Pixie is fairly essential, what with her having her own soul knife that Illyana constructed the last time Pixie was in Limbo.
And Mercury is resistant to magic, with her maleable form.

I'm thrilled that they've been included. Well....truthfully I could live without Pixie, entirely, but I'm glad that Mercury (and rockslide, although not seen) will be a part of the 'away team'

I wish Marvel would really stop it with the over saturation of Wolverine. It's like they keep relying on his image to sell every f'ing book they put out there. What they need to do is allow people to pick up the book and thumb through the pages to see if he's in it, instead, and give artists a chance to do what they want with the covers, so long it's within the guidelines of the story.

My God, this cover is all kinds of perfect. Pixie looks like she's 14 or 15 again, not 24. Yay for Mercury returning for a bit. The others look incredibly well drawn. Props to the artist.

Ya, good point. I mean, my guess is that Santo (Rockslide) is all for it, because he loves any excuse for danger.

She got sucked into Hell just following her torture via the Facility that created X-23...so I'm thinking she'll be reluctant but willing.
Mercury has always been a trooper. Always willing to help.

That cover has me wondering if, when Illyana shows up in San Fran will these X-Men be JOINING her in her search, or attempting to stop her?
I just read over on Newsarama that Illyana's soul is fragmented. Its in pieces and they're not all together. Clearly the soul sword is a big chunk of her soul, but those bloodstones in her original locket has....3 blood stones (?)... each representing a fragment of her soul thats been corrupted...right?

So how and where will she find the locket? The sword is a given.
An interesting detail about the sword that the interview revealed is that it is hidden INSIDE another soul. The soul of a blue mutant. I didn't realize it was INSIDE his SOUL rather than simply inside HIM.

I'm wondering about that myself.
Maybe the two soul-blades are 'attracted' to one another? I mean, I'm still puzzled by her sudden "evil pixie"-ness and what caused it. Okay, YES, she has a tiny part of her soul missing but...

We'll obviously find out but I'm losing it waiting for tomorrow.
I'm guessing that Pixie stabbing Kurt will release Illyana's sword maybe?
And in turn, Illyana will sense it's unsheathing, so to speak, bringing her to San Fran?

If Amanda Sefton was able to attach her soul sword to his soul, I'm sure there is a viable method of removing it as well.
Few things in the X-Universe are ever permanent.

I'm just gonna go out on a limb and say that Illyana isn't going to want to go the patient/gentle route once she figures out that Mr.Wagner has it.
I'm very eager to see what Peter's reaction and/or course of action will be throughout this series. Is he going to throw caution to the wind and swing axes alongside his sister? Will he ignore the safety of his fellow X'ers?
