Let's say Ledger gets nominated for an Oscar and I guess it can happen (I think he should at least be nominated, not sure about WINNING).... and you know that when they say their names before they announce the winner they show a clip of their role. What scene from TDK would you send to the Oscar people to play during this moment?
I think I would send the meeting from all the mobsters starting with Joker talking about why they do all their "therapy sessions" in daytime and ending with if you good at something you don't do it for free. I love that whole scene. I can't recall how long that moment in that scene lasts, but I love it.

No way should he get a nod, not even close. But for the sake of the game, EDIT: Hospital scene, it's his best, best scene in the movie, one of the only I really loved.
Hate the scene in the cell, Bale's awful voice combined with Joker waxing on about his plans and themes, nearly as bad as the upside-down-but-not bit at the end.

Has anyone ever been nominated before for an acting Oscar for a performance in a comic book film?

The only one I can think of is Paul Newman in Road to Perdition.

William Hurt was nominated for best supporting actor in a history of violence. I've never read the graphic novel that it was based on but the film is brilliant.
Definitely the interrogation scene for me but they would probably do a big mix not unlike the trailers.

If this is going to happen i would love to use one of the scenes where he explains his scars.
No way should he get a nod, not even close.

Well thats your opinion and you're entitled to it, but as for me I think they should use the bank robbery scene. Either that or the hospital or interragation scenes.

Thats the perfect Joker moment for me. I loved that scene.
Even if they show ten seconds of it you will see how good he did in that role even if the hype of his death ruins his work in the movie alittle....
