I think that artist was pretty crap though.

Bachalo's designs are lovely, but I bet they'd be hard to duplicate. He doesn't do generic well.

This is maybe a controversial opinion. I like her, but do people agree that although Bachelo's character design for her is great, when other artists try to copy it, she doesn't look nearly as good?

Serafina looks TERRIBLE when drawn by other artists. I am not a Bachalo fan at all, but he is the only one that can pull off the terrible design.

Bio
Sally Blevins has had a hard knock life. For real, Annie doesn’t have anything on her. Her powers manifested when her abusive dad came home to his wife allowing Sally to try on some Pearls. Maybe Pops wanted the pearl necklace for himself or maybe he just didn’t want Sally to wear jewelry. But he’d had enough and beat her mom to a pulp and then tried to start on her. Her powers kicked in on the first punch. Her dad was so freaked out and disgusted by his mutie daughter that he took off. Unfortunately, her powers didn’t kick off so easily for a novice and she was unable to dial the phone for help or pick up her mom’s broken body. Everytime she tried to grab hold of her she just slid from her hands. Sally’s mom died a short time later as the young girl could only sit beside her and watch. After her mom’s death, Sally became a street kid and eventually took to the abandoned New York Subway Tunnels that the Morlocks inhabited. She became the Morlock known as Skids, but was treated as an outcast because of her pretty looks. The morlock known as Masque tried numerous times to disfigure her face and body as was his cruel custom, but Sally’s powers kept his attempts from working. So she was basically an outcast among outcasts.

Sally met Rusty Collins in the middle of a huge battle between the ginger haired teen and Freedom Force. The two kids were attacked by a mutant hating mob and Sally’s powers kept them safe from harm. They also found out that Rusty’s flames could not harm her. The two fled to the Morlock tunnels, only to be chased by Freedom Force. X-Factor stepped in and saved them both and Sally decided to stay with them since Rusty had been injured in the fire fight. Lucky for her, since shortly afterwards, the Marauders massacred the majority of morlocks.

Rusty and Skids fell in love and became the greatest love story that Marvel has ever known. When Masque asked Skids to return to the morlock tunnels with the rest of the survivors, she decided to stay with Rusty. This infuriated him/her (Masque is a huge tranny) and he swore revenge on “the pretty little girl.” During this time, Jean Grey was training both Rusty and Skids in their powers. And boy was she a drill sergeant! During a training exercixe Sally’s pearls broke and she couldn’t managed to pick up the individual pearls. Frustrated and pushed to the emotional brink, Sally ran off to rejoin the morlocks. Rusty followed her and they had a huge battle with Masque. Then Emma Laporte, the trampy hooker that Rusty burned her face off showed up in the news and Rusty took her to Masque to “fix”. Masque bargained with Rusty for basically a version of that movie Face Off with John Travolta. He’d mess up Rustys and fix the trampy burned chick. Masque twisted Rusty’s face up and Skids lost it. Red Hair and an Ugly Face, NO WAY! She almost killed Masque but during the melee, she finally mastered her powers and was able to “turn off” her forcefield for the first time. Rusty also got his pretty face back! YAY! Emma Laporte stayed in the morlock tunnels and dated Qwerty for a while.

X-Factor ended it’s trainee program shortly after the book became a huge hit and Skids went to boarding school. Inferno began and Skids got back into the super-hero game to help save Artie and Leech. The former trainee kids called themselves the X-Terminators and teamed up with the New Mutants to fight off the demons attacking New York. Shortly afterwards, the two teams merged and Jed was a happy camper. They (Sally and Rusty) got separated from the gang when the New Mutants went to Asgard and Rusty was ONCE AGAIN attacked by Freedom Force. They were captured and both put in prison. Rusty for the face burning incident and Skids for resisting arrest. They broke out of prison to stop a nefarious plot by Nitro (the dude who blew up Stamford). They were going to tell the world about Freedom Force’s plans as well as save the good citizens from Nitro. Nitro was about to Splode when Skids contained him in one of her forcefield. She managed to take out his destructive energy, but the strain really hurt her. She was put in the hospital and Mystique spun the media to make it look like Rusty and Skids were helping Nitro rather than stopping him. The news started to report that the Mutant Liberation Front, a mutant terrorist organization, was working with Rusty and Skids and that caused the MLF to come to their hospital room and find out what was going on. This caused the police and the MLF to get into a huge shoot em up match and Rusty and Skids were stuck in the middle. Rusty got shot and the duo had no choice but to escape with the MLF. This is where it all started to go pear shaped for the two star crossed lovers. Stryfe, the nefarious leader of the MLF, brainwashed them into being as ruthless and barbaric as the rest of the MLF. They battled the New Mutants/X-Force and the X-men. Seeing her former friends did not shock Sally out of her conditioning and she even broke Boom Boom’s jaw! Eventually the MLF was captured and Sally ended up in prison again with Rusty. The Friends of Humanity, a human based terror group, had plans to get the two and publicly make examples of them, but they were rescued by X-Force before they could be killed. Still under Stryfe’s brainwashing, the two didn’t fit with their old friends and when they had the chance to join the Acolytes, they took it. Magneto finally undid the conditioning that Stryfe had put into place and the two managed to be happy for a while. They didn’t fit well with the Acolytes, but they were together, in their right minds, and safe. They knew they didn’t fit in with the Acolytes and had been looking for an exit strategy, but hadn’t found the right way out and at least they were finally safe! Or so they thought. Holocaust, Apocalypse’s son, was taken aboard Avalon, the Acolytes headquarters in space and proceeded to destroy the satellite space station and in the process killed Rusty. I know. It’s okay, you can cry too.

http://images2.wikia.nocookie.net/marveldatabase/images/a/a7/Skids_007.jpg

Sally left the super hero or superhuman terrorist biz and decided to enroll in college in Colorado. She wanted to be a normal chick, but when X-Force came to visit, they mucked it up for her and she ended up being outed as a mutant when the MLF attacked. She was next seen working as a member of Roberto Dacosta’s X-Corporation office in Los Angeles. After M-Day, Sally joined the remaining mutants back at the Mansion only to be again enthralled by another powerful mutant. She went all cuckoo for Cocoa Puffs over him, but in the end he was defeated and at least she wasn’t made into a Horseman or something. She just got glamoured by him and didn’t help fight him.

She was next seen as a Morlock again AND under the direction of Masque of all people. Fanboys around the world rebelled against this idea, but Ed Brubaker cleverly revealed that she was a SHIELD spy, working to take down mutant terror cells from within. Masque was defeated with her help and all was right with the world. Skids is back on the side of the angels and working for the man. Maybe she’ll join up with Misty Knight and become a Daughter of the Dragon, SHIELD squad. That’d be fantastic.

http://images2.wikia.nocookie.net/marveldatabase/images/thumb/1/13/Skids_caliban.jpg/800px-Skids_caliban.jpg

Did you know?: Skids was not afraid to work a beret and leopard tights! AND live in a sewer! All while being stylish and sweet smelling. She’s one of my top ten mutants of all time. I hope Rusty makes it back to her someday. She deserves the happiness.

I LOVE SKIDS!!!!!!!!!

I hate all the abuse she has had over the last 20 years or so. I am glad she is still alive, powered, and safe for the time being. Although, with Shield gone, she is now unemployed. She should show up in San Fran now!

#51 Serafina
Real Name: Unnamed but used an alias named ‘Sarah’
First appearance: X-Men #188
Most recent appearance: X-men #193
Powers:Serafina has the ability via a suit to disrupt and manipulate machines. She has the ability to bypass security systems and since the body is a machine, she can plug into super humans and use their powers against them or their compatriots. She can likewise use an opponent’s body against them and boost or enhance someone’s powers. She is also mean enough to cut a bitch.
Status: Dead? Or Missing!
Creator: Mike Carey and Chris Bachalo

http://media.comicvine.com/uploads/0/77/190479-89613-serafina_super.jpg

Bio:
Serafina, like all of the Children of the Vault, was not a mutant or a baseline human, but a third form of humanoid life that had evolved over the course of six thousand years isolated in the Vault. Serafina is first seen with Sangre hunting down Sabretooth. The big bad villain of yester yore barely escapes them. She then bypasses the X-men’s radar and plugs into a comatose Lady Mastermind. She uses Mastermind’s powers to submerge Cannonball in a faux life where he and Serafina have a relationship. They meet, court, fall in love and marry, and have kids. This happened in the space of seconds, but for Cannonball it felt like a lifetime lived. Wolverine intercepts the happy couple and Serafina takes both of them down hard and escapes. She also is part of the crew of Vault Children who take down SHIELD and abscond with Northstar and his twin sister Aurora. Serafina boost their abilities and creates further weapons for the Children to use against the X-Men.

http://media.comicvine.com/uploads/0/3848/119946-146227-serafina.jpg

In the final battle between the two teams, Cannonball appeals to her to remember their shared life. Begs her to remember their love and their faux children. She flatly tells him that she has no feelings for him, he goes a bit loco and slams into her. He drives her through one side of the Children’s metal ship and out the otherside. She presumably dies.

Did you know?: Mike Carey has definitively said that Fuego, Sangre, and Aguja died, but has coyly stated that Serafina may have perished or may have simply been knocked out. So HEY! Serafina come back to us!

I wish I was Sam and Serafina was messing with MY mind. I absolutely LOVE Serafina (and Perro). Therefore, I wanna see Serafina (and Perro) pop again soon!

#53 Siena Blaze
First appearance: Uncanny X-Men Annual #17
Last appearance: Weapon X #5
Powers: Siena Blaze is a mutant with the ability to tear into the earth’s electromagnetic field, creating massive energy blasts and natural disasters. She also has the ability to fly via magnetic levitation, and teleport long distances. When she teleports, she leaves a devastating blast behind, destroying anything around her.
Status: Presumed deceased.
Creator: Scott Lobdell.

http://media.comicvine.com/uploads/0/77/84129-161143-siena-blaze_super.jpg

Bio:
A young mutant with excruciatingly powerful mutant abilities, Siena Blaze was recruited into the Upstarts by Trevor Fitzroy, who had met the future version of her from the timeline he was from. She was rescued by Fitzroy from police after her boyfriend was killed. Her first mission as an Upstart was to kill the three leaders of the X-Men: Professor X, Cyclops, and Storm. She travelled to Antarctica and shot the Blackbird out of the sky using her electromagnetic energy bursts. The X-Men were forced to survive under extreme freezing temperature and were able to find Siena Blaze, shocked to discover all the chaos had been caused by one young woman. The X-Men were near dead, and there was little Cyclops or Storm could do to stop Siena. However, Professor X was able to use his telepathy to trick her, which encased her in a pile of ice. She commented that her powers are overloading, and each time she uses her powers she runs the risk of destroying the entire planet. She couldn’t seem to care less, and used her powers against the X-Men. After Xavier cut her off from her powers telepathically, she became annoyed and decided to leave, teleporting away and leaving a huge explosion in her place.

http://media.comicvine.com/uploads/0/9490/218774-133561-siena-blaze_super.jpg

Siena Blaze’s next mission was to murder Moira MacTaggert and steal the information about her son Proteus for Mr. Sinister. She battled Shadowcat and Nightcrawler, and eventually came across Rachel Grey. The pair were a stand-still, both powers being too much for each other. Instead, they had a good ol’ fashioned catfight, with Siena slapping and clawing her way to victory with Phoenix while her powers built up enough energy. She then decided Excalibur was too much for her, so she teleported away. Returning to Gamesmaster and Mr. Sinister, she commented how she had a piece of Phoenix’s skin under her nails. Sinister angrily took it from Siena and told her to leave, frustrated with her failure.

http://media.comicvine.com/uploads/0/77/84128-110036-siena-blaze_super.JPG

Her next appearance was during Younghunt, where Siena Blaze immediately took out Cannonball and Boom Boom on the Guthrie farm. Later, she attacked Karma, Moonstar, and Empath in Madripoor, but was used by Karma in order to infiltrate the Upstarts. However, Karma’s grasp on Siena was short-lived, and once she regained her consciousness, she defeated the trio, and the rest of the mutants who interfered.

http://media.comicvine.com/uploads/0/77/267082-176259-siena-blaze_super.jpg

Later, Siena Blaze was invited to be tested in order to join the Mutant Liberation Front. She decided to accept the invitation, but planned to kill Reaper to earn some points with the Upstarts. However, her powers ended up teleporting them to the “Ultraverse,” where they both joined the All-New Exiles. With the group, she felt a bond towards their leader Warstrike. During the battle with Maxis, Siena Blaze and the rest of the Exiles perished, but were resurrected and defeated Maxis later. Siena, along with the other characters from Marvel who had been used by the Ultraverse, were sent back to their world. Eventually, Siena Blaze was captured by the Neverland Camp and killed in the gas chambers. But, as it was written by Tieri, who loves to kill off D-Listers which are later retconned into being alive *coughAnacondacough*, it is likely Siena Blaze will once again return.

Did You Know?: Siena Blaze loves the television show 90210 (the good, old one… not that crappy pro-anorexia one that’s going on now). Siena was also featured as a boss in the GameGear video-game X-Men: Gamesmaster’s Legacy.

The first person on this list I actively dislike.

She was bad for the environment. Also was she not involved in some crossover with some other comic publisher in the 90s? I have seen adverts in my Generation X comics.

I don't care how "powerful" she was, she was a bad role model.

She was a member of the All-New Exiles, that took place in the Ultraverse, after Marvel bought Malibu.

I really loved her over there though. That team was great...Juggernaut, Reaper, Sienna, Shuriken, Amber Hunt, Warstrike, some more I am forgetting off hand.

That was it, the Ulraverse. I'm hating it on principle, having never actually seen any of their comics, outside multi page adverts in 90s Marvel titles.

They seemed to specialise in the speculator market, selling limited edition versions of their comics for hugely inflated prices. Which you can now find on eBay for much cheapness.

In all honesty, they did do that, but the Ultraverse titles themselves (mostly before Marvel bought them) were really well done creatively. Great books in general.

SKIDS! Mothereffin Skids! Well, guess her life is still pretty hard-knock, since she was an Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D., and the whole operation just went tits-up after "Secret Invasion", it seems there's a 50% chance that Norman Osborn just laid her off from her job. (Norman's a dick. Hopefully he didn't use Sally as part of his habit of throwing blonde chicks off of bridges.)

But Skids, when not mind-controlled, had a unique, simple power, but one of the coolest emotional approaches to it I can recall. Her tragic romance with Rusty... will she ever move on and find love with someone else? Maybe she can date Cannonball, and they can rub force-fields against one another?

Something must be done with Skids. And get her the awesome punk-beret look back!

I've lost count... is this the third or fourth character in the D-List Month thread that Frank Tieri killed off? BOO! Everyone gets hung up on Siena's hair, but for me, it's all about them pins! Her legs are crazy long, I'm surprised she doesn't have the secondary power to kick people in the face!

Killing her off also makes it a bit of a paradox, since Mr. Trevor Fitzroy, from the future, had said she'd become a legend in his future. So, if she died anonymously in some Canadian concentration camp for mutants... how did that time paradox come about?

Hmm...

#55 Stinger
Real Name: Wendy
First appearance: X-Factor #5
Most recent appearance: New Mutants Annual #7
Powers: Stinger has the ability to discharge electricity from her hands.
Status: M.I.A. since 1991
Creator: Bob Layton, Louise Simonson, and Jackson Guice

http://media.comicvine.com/uploads/1/12463/267389-73080-stinger_super.jpg

Bio
Wendy was a minor when Apocalypse collected her for service in his early team, The Alliance of Evil. She was the young and reckless member of the squad. This team was constantly, at Apocalypse’s behest taking a drug called the “Source” which boosted their physical and mutant power strength. The source was created from Michael Nowlin, a mutant with the ability to boost mutant’s powers. The Source was extremely addictive, but worked well to make them a team worth taking note of for a while. Wendy was known for being brash and rushing into a battle with no heed for teammates or team work. She wore crazy colors and had totally rad hairstyles and was almost clownish in appearance at times, but what would you expect from a kid pretending at being a big bad adult! She was very inexperienced in her powers and had them go awry at several inopportune times, including the time when she accidently killed Susan Nowlan, the wife of the creator of the Source drug. Oopsie!

When the Alliance of Evil was defeated for the last time, Wendy was not seen again. It’s fairly lucky since most of the other members of the team died. Only, Frenzy and Timeshadow, remain alive from the group.

Did you know?: Stinger is a notorious flirt and would constantly target Angel as the object of her affections.

Warren shoulda hit that. Fishnets do something for me, I guess.

Anyhow, why the Alliance of Evil got totally abandoned by Apocalypse, and why he didn't just like, co-opt them into another one of his teams, like the Horsemen, or the Dark Riders, or whatever is the real mystery. Hell, even Mr. Sinister should've recruited them into the Marauders, or Magneto into the Acolytes. On that last one, Frenzy could've totally given Stinger a reference!

I hope that she turns up in San Francisco, at some point. And then she fights Surge for the right to be the one true electricity-wielder in the world of mutants.

More comments from (F)reddy my non comic book reading boyfriend's musings on our list:

Arclight: Every artist dug the shoulder look.

Bling!: She’s like a pretty Tracy Chapman. Makes me want to call 1-800-Bed-azzl(e) and order my holiday bedazzler.

Briquette: Uh, “body like rock and molten hot”??? Molten rock isn’t solid. Fail.

Bulwark: Sassy leather harness he’s wearing.

CeCe Reyes: Dug the bio, totally fly (is that how you say it?). Her snapping her rubber gloves made me pucker.

Clearcut: I had that hair in high school. Glad to know it’s making a comeback.

Darkstar: Can someone translate her powers into “normal people” language? I have no idea what she can do Charlie Brown.

Emplate: Looks like that kid that was in that movie with Cher, but not as cute. Or, The Fly.

Murmur I: The mummy on crack.

Murmur II: Name originality much? Was Sy-Phyllis already taken?

Nanny: She looks like a Geisha robot, stay away from my kids pervy robot.

The Nasty Boys: I’m not sure which is worse. Their collective title, or their individual names. “Gorgeous George”, a complete rip-off of the WWF.

The Neophyte: Rarrrr. Hot bottomed boy. So he’s a NYC hustler?

NeuroTap: Her eyes look like they’re bleeding rather than “scrambling an opponent’s neurons”, whatever the hell THAT means in your language.

No-Girl: Just how women should be, brainless and pumped full of drugs. (I KID, I KID, women shouldn’t be brainless.)

Oracle: Why do all Oracle’s look like they’ve just seen a ghost and/or they’re trying to catch flies in their wide-opened mouths???

Paradigm: I was really hoping his name was pronounced “Para Dig ‘Em”. I really think he’d be hotter with skin.

Perro: Finally a Hispanic character. I was beginning to think all y’all were a bunch of racists.

Persuasion: Sounds a lot like me in that whole being able to control people I meet with my pheromones and turning them purple sort of way. Or am I confusing that with the way I nauseate people and turn them green with the smell of my feet? It’s all similar.

Pink Pearl: She’s awesome. I love a meaty woman who doesn’t feel the need to call 1-800-Jenny

Primal: I’m starting to wonder, why don’t many of these folks have last names? It ain’t easy being green, Kermit said so, so it must be true.

Prism: COME ON. He looks like Ice Man…and while I’m mentioning Ice Man, if they’re see through, why can’t we see their junk?

Pulse: Is a hottie, but again, his eyes look like they’re bleeding rather than blah blah blah blah blah blah, or whatever his power is.

Risque: Didn’t she sing that song, “Smell yo dick”? I LOVE that song. It must have been windy in that first pic, cuz her hair is out of control. Maybe she may want to consider braids or a ponytail? It might make it easier for her to fight (other dead people).

lol...are sure you aren't getting two episodes mixed up? I don't think Grizzly ever appeared on TAS...Tusk did though, on a Scott focused episode...but Taki wasn't in that episode, he was in the other Scott focused episode...versus the Purple Man. That ep also have Rusty, Skids, and Boom Boom in it.

Arclight (http://forums.comicbookresources.com/showpost.php?p=7982479&postcount=57)
Like her, but don't love her. She's one of the better OG Marauders, though. FWAHAM.

Bling! (http://forums.comicbookresources.com/showpost.php?p=7984439&postcount=99)
Love her cheesy as hell thus awesome name, love her sassy, jaded attitude, and I just love her in general. I don't see her as a star, but I'd like to see her in a larger capacity. She'd be an awesome recurring character.

Briquette (http://forums.comicbookresources.com/showpost.php?p=7988275&postcount=126)
My good friend Nyssane loves her. <3

Bulwark (http://forums.comicbookresources.com/showpost.php?p=7991256&postcount=145)
Heheheheheh I enjoyed him in Generation X, but his design is kinda bad (less kinda, more very).

CeCe Reyes (http://forums.comicbookresources.com/showpost.php?p=7994398&postcount=154)
I loved the dynamic she brought to the X-Men and I love what she's bringing to NYX.

Clear-Cut (http://forums.comicbookresources.com/showpost.php?p=7996865&postcount=158)
He's no Flex!

Darkstar (http://forums.comicbookresources.com/showpost.php?p=8002087&postcount=167)
I love her design. That is what made me a fan and I LOL at my own superficiality.

Emplate (http://forums.comicbookresources.com/showpost.php?p=8003249&postcount=168)
AWESOME villain. Loved him in the 90's and he's reason #498 why I despise Larry Hama for his damage to Family St. Croix.

Feral (http://forums.comicbookresources.com/showpost.php?p=8011991&postcount=198)
She was fun. I liked her violent nature and at the time I didn't like Rahne so she made me happy.

Flex (http://forums.comicbookresources.com/showpost.php?p=8011712&postcount=195)
Loved his powers! He was an innovator--don't get it twisted Mercury! I loved his 'geek boy' personality in contrast to his crass brother Radius. He's one of my more serious D-List Revival Quests, but one with less probable success because his volume of Alpha Flight is often ignored.

Shola Inkose (http://forums.comicbookresources.com/showpost.php?p=8039564&postcount=409)
Claremont's Genoshan Excalibur characters were not terrible; Shola, Wicked, and Freakshow were actually pretty cool--and those were the ones that were depowered. Weird!

The Nasty Boys (http://forums.comicbookresources.com/showpost.php?p=8068889&postcount=573)
They were a fun team with fun visuals and were...FUN!

The Neophyte (http://forums.comicbookresources.com/showpost.php?p=8075710&postcount=589)
I did not know that he was supposed to be part of Generation X!!!!!!!!!

Why did this not happen??????????

OMFG. And re-reading Generation Next and seeing Vincente's awesomeness, it really seems like the junior X-Teams always get really awesome ideas cut.

His first appearance is really what started to get me appreciating the Acolytes as more than another mutant team.

Pulse (http://forums.comicbookresources.com/showpost.php?p=8096068&postcount=662)
He's so unlikable--cowardly, a theif, and he tried to schmooze his way into Rogue's heart but yet I really liked him. I think Milligan pulled some reverse psychology because the more I expected to not like him, the reverse continued to happen.

Risque (http://forums.comicbookresources.com/showpost.php?p=8097109&postcount=673)
She has some awesome mysteriousness and awesome hair before Armor stole it; she's a dastardly hero without being too sappy or too evil to really condemn her nor feel too comfortable around her.

Scanner (http://forums.comicbookresources.com/showpost.php?p=8102513&postcount=714)
She got screwed over for sure; she should be in Legacy for sure. Props to WBE for pointing that out that she was screwed over just as much if not more than Scanner. Scan_Scan can then should be on Rogue's new team--because that's totally going to happen.

I don't know why she was depowered; the Acolytes are hardly full of superstar characters that depowering one with a cult-ish following seemed kinda silly.

Since everyone else is doing it:

#01. ARCLIGHT: I love her. She's one of my favorite Marauders, second only to Prism. I also love that the cartoons and movies used her... the only series she hasn't appeared in was X-Men Evolution (which rarely brought in new comic characters as it was).

#02. BLING!: Not a fan, personally. How many rock-type characters do we need?

#03. BRIQUETTE: Definitely the best of the Hell's Belles. Her dialogues with Strong Guy were classic.

#04. BULWARK: I don't really know him, but from that one picture he's kinda hawt.

#05. CECE REYES: Again, not a huge fan, but I liked her in the scattered X-Men issues I read, particularly the one with Pyro.

#06. CLEAR-CUT: He was cute in that one issue and probably could've become a pretty interesting character. But Mindmeld > Clearcut.

#07. DARKSTAR: I liked her in the cartoon and I remember when I was younger getting an X-Men Unlimited with her, but beyond that I never cared much about her. It does suck how Morrison killed her off, though.

#08. EMPLATE: I didn't read Generation X regularly so I don't know him too well, but he's creepy.

#09. FERAL: I remember when I was a kid I thought Feral was pretty cool. Now, not so much.

#10. FIXX: I don't remember her at all... you know this list is D-List when not even *I* know who they are.

#11. FLEX: He's hot for a comic book character. I didn't read the second volume of Alpha Flight so I'm not familiar with him.

#12. FOREARM: I hated him until I read later issues of X-Force, where he was actually kind of sweet. And then he died at the hands of ANACONDA.

#13. CORDELIA FROST: I dunno what the big hubbub is about her, she doesn't seem that interesting.

#14. GATECRASHER: The one big female that I don't particularly love in Marvel Comics. YOU'VE FOUND HER.

#15. GHOST GIRL: What an awful codename. And daaayum there's lots of Alpha Flight v.2 characters. I wonder if this list is a bit biased.

More coming soon!

#56 Switch
Real Name: Devon Alomar
First appearance: X-Force #87
Most recent appearance: X-Force #90
Powers: Switch has the mutant ability to temporarily displace the brain wave patterns of others, allowing him to switch bodies with those around him.
Status: Inactive.
Creator: John Francis Moore.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v231/ursula_boi/Comic%20Book%20Stuff/Switch01.jpg

Bio:
A mutant with the ability to displace brain patterns, he was invited to join the Hellions. During his first mission, he switched bodies with Domino and trapped her in a cellar of a winery. Switch, using Domino's body, tricked X-Force into believing the Hellions to be no threat. Unfortunately, the real Domino regained consciousness and attacked Switch, forcing him back into his own body. He quickly fled the scene.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v231/ursula_boi/Comic%20Book%20Stuff/Switch04.jpg

Later, he regrouped with the Hellions and joined Feral in attacking Senator Owen Danville. He placed his own mind into the senator's body, which allowed them to easily kidnap him and bring him back to King Bedlam to witness the revival of the Armageddon Man. Ambushed by X-Force, Switch was taken out of the battle by Domino before he could get into any of the heroes' bodies. He soon recuperated, and after Tarot's betrayal, he joined King Bedlam and Feral in leaving before the Armageddon Man could do them any harm.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v231/ursula_boi/Comic%20Book%20Stuff/Switch03.jpg

His current whereabouts are unknown since Decimation, an event where the Scarlet Witch depowered over 90% of the world's mutant population. Whether or not he remains a mutant has not been addressed.

#57 Tattoo
Real Name: Christina Cood
First appearance: New X-Men #126
Most recent appearance:
Powers: Tattoo could reach into someone and disrupt their bio-physiology. She also could create words or designs on her skin and she could also camouflage herself.
Status: Allegedly dead.
Creator: Grant Morrison

http://media.comicvine.com/uploads/0/6754/188825-138052-tattoo_super.jpg

Bio
Tattoo was a young student at The Xavier Institute. She and her brother Christian (Radian) manifested their mutant powers during church. She freaked out when her skin tone changed and her hair fell out. Like all of her other classmates, Christina was at the Xavier Institute to learn to control and develop her powers. She fell under the mind control of Cassandra Nova and with a small group of fellow students attacked Wolverine and Beast at Cassandra’s command. She and the others were freed by the Stepford Cuckoos. Tattoo is next seen to be dating a male telepath named Slick. When Quentin Quire outs Slick as a hairy dwarf creature, she dumped him like a sack of potatoes. He was a jerk anyway. And totally handsy and needed some breath mints.

http://media.comicvine.com/uploads/0/77/79422-14366-tattoo_super.jpg

Tattoo joined Quentin Quire’s Omega Gang, a group that was dedicated to the cause of mutant rights at any price. They avenged famed Mutant clothing designer Jumbo Carnation’s death. Next, the Omega Gang created a riot at Xavier’s school in order to wrest the X-men from their perceived lax stance. A couple folks died in the riot and the gang members were taken off to a human prison. Boo.

http://media.comicvine.com/uploads/1/11768/431564-x-men_137@2_super.jpg

Christine, like numerous other mutants, was confirmed depowered by the events of M Day. Her and her former gang members allegedly all depowered joined a group called the New Warriors and she was the popular sacrificial lamb to kill off in the first arc so that we all know that the author is hard and cool and willing to throw us some twists. I don’t believe in this theory and will cut anyone who does.

Did you know?: Christine was Quentin Quire’s right hand “man”, but she still thought he was a “dork”. Although we all know that dorks are pretty cool.

Switch- What was it about issues #60-90 of X-Force that made them keep making characters with the power to make you swap bodies with someone? First Mindmeld, then Switch? Would it have been so hard within that two year period to, I dunno... use Mindmeld as a recurring villain?

Maybe Moore will bring back one of the two during his current run on Runaways. But really, villains who are strictly body-swappers are kind of lame for one reason: You never recognize them when they return in someone else's body! At least Malice has the give-away choker collar to tip you off.

Tattoo- She was so much cooler when she was a "Kick"ed up crack ho in the Omega Gang. That New Warriors run was so damned stupid. I mean, everyone's handing out tech devices to fight supervillains, and what does Christine get? Stolen gear from Stilt Man. STILT MAN! Of all the technologies you have available to fight bad guys, you try wielding extendable limbs that leave the rest of your body vulnerable? There's a reason Stilt Man died from a bazooka to the cojones fired by the Punisher. And the average super-villain has the ability to blow s*** up like they were a bazooka, or worse.

Now that I think about it... her power was somewhat weak at its base, but I'd have liked to see her either stay cracked out and use it as she did during the Riot at Xavier's, or at least in time, grow proficient enough to phase into people and kill them.

But yeah, Grevioux had to shock the hell out of us. I wish he'd killed Radian, instead.

#58 Thumbelina
Real Name: Kristina Anderson
First appearance: New Mutants #86
Most recent appearance: X-Force (2006) #5
Powers: Thumbelina can shrink her body as tiny as she wishes. She also has some degree of superhuman strength.
Status: Inactive.
Creator: Rob Liefeld; Fabian Nicieza

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v231/ursula_boi/Comic%20Book%20Stuff/Thumbelina/Thumbelina03.jpg

Bio:
The moderately chubby Thumbelina was the outcast of the Mutant Liberation Front. She was picked on by her teammates for her overweight body, being called “lardface” and other insults, particularly by the bully ringleaders, Strobe and Wildside. The only friend she was able to obtain was with Dragoness. She felt isolated and alone…

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v231/ursula_boi/Comic%20Book%20Stuff/Thumbelina/Thumbelina02.jpg

During the Mutant Liberation Front’s first mission, which was to capture Rusty Collins and Skids and recruit them into the group, Thumbelina shrank herself in order to program the explosives they had set around the prison where the pair was being held. She was not able to keep up with Tempo’s time acceleration as well as her teammates, due to her lack of exercise. She seemed to be one of Stryfe’s most useful minions, standing aside him in his throne room at times. He would keep her away from the dangerous missions, realizing her true potential was not in battle.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v231/ursula_boi/Comic%20Book%20Stuff/Thumbelina/Thumbelina_007.jpg

After her older brother Slab was defeated by X-Factor, Thumbelina somehow convinced the Mutant Liberation Front to free him and his Nasty Boy teammate, Hairbag. Thumbelina used her powers to sneak up on a guard, taunting him with her voice. As the guard wondered who was talking to him, she grew to full size and knocked him unconscious with a punch. She freed her brother and sat on his shoulders as they escaped. However, Stryfe appeared in the portal, and was almost captured by X-Factor. Thumbelina worried that if Stryfe was captured, he’d kill all of them. They were able to stop X-Factor from taking their leader and returned back to their headquarters.

During the X-Cutioner’s Song, Thumbelina and Slab were reunited once again, with Slab working for the Mutant Liberation Front. During the battle with the X-Men and their affiliated groups, the pair watched as Dragoness was defeated by Storm, Rogue, and Polaris. Thumbelina tried to convince Slab that they had to save her, as she was her only friend, but Slab tried to get her to escape with him. They both encountered Iceman, who simply froze them and rejoined the battle. They were presumably taken into custody.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v231/ursula_boi/Comic%20Book%20Stuff/Thumbelina/Thumbelina04.jpg

When an alternate reality version of Stryfe appeared, he brought with him a new Mutant Liberation Front, including Thumbelina. She joined in the battle with Skornn but was defeated early on. It is unknown if Thumbelina retains her powers after Decimation.

Did You Know?: Thumbelina is from Detroit and her mom worries about her constantly.

I see much potential for Ms. Anderson.

One: From Detroit. Why not have X-Factor bump into Slab and Thumbelina in their hometown? Whether they're behaving, or up to no good? Hell, PAD knows how to write Slab, and Thumbelina can get called a fat midget by Monet. It'll be gold!

Two: Hook Thumbelina up with Shortpack, who needs a girlfriend his size, which he finds awesome because she's "Small", which he likes, regardless if she's "chubby". Next thing you know, Thumby gets some confidence and regular exercise via the Shortpack Longpack, if you get my meaning, and she becomes a total betty.

Three: She's the darling of the size-changing superhumans in the M.U., and with the void left by the dead Wasp, Norman Osborn drafts her to be Janet Van Dyne's replacement in the Dark Avengers.

etc. etc. So many ways Thumbelina could be used, and used well. I think Liefeld's done enough for her for this millenium.

#59 Tusk
Real Name:
First appearance: X-Factor #65
Most recent appearance: X-men #193
Powers:Tusk is an inhuman who can create underlings. He’s got superhuman strength and durability, as well as a limited form of invulnerability.
Status: Inactive
Creator: Chris Claremont, Jim Lee and Whilce Portacio

http://media.comicvine.com/uploads/1/10069/361598-28654-tusk_large.JPG

Bio
Tusk was a member of the Inhumans that Apocalypse kidnapped/enslaved and made into a team to test his “survival of the fittest” mantra. Tusk, along with fellow Dark Riders, would hunt down mutants and test them to see if they were fit to survive. When Apocalypse was killed, these Inhumans remained loyal to his cause and continued creating havoc and murdering mutants. Tusk followed the Dark Riders through numerous incarnations and numerous nefarious leaders, although he would periodically fall off the Dark Rider’s roster at times. Maybe he was taking vacation days?

http://media.comicvine.com/uploads/0/5586/491308-tu1_super.jpg

Tusk was a huge hulking strong man type, but he created little pint sized versions called underlings which would aid him in battle.

http://media.comicvine.com/uploads/0/9345/404292-134352-tusk_super.jpg

Tusk was last seen battling Nate Grey, the alternate reality clone of Cable. During the battle Tusk was revealed to be a small worm like creature inside the Tusk Prime Body. It’s unknown where Tusk is at these days, but since he wasn’t a mutant, he didn’t have to worry about being depowered! Yay for that!

Did you know?: Tusk was seriously close to fellow Dark Rider, Psynapse. This was unusual for that team since they regularly hunted down and killed each other for not being “Fit” enough. In fact, Psynapse was one of the members that they did hunt down and kill, but he later reappeared and then promptly was killed again. LOLZ. Poor Psynapse. I thought him and Tusk might be romantically involved. Did anyone else?

Jed, this guy looks lame as hell and his underlings look *shudder* freaky. I find it hard to believe he is a Claremont Creation. Apart from the possible relationship with Psynapse, what is it that you like about him?

I guess I have a fetish for the strong men of the teams. and HE CREATES his FRIENDS! How cool is that?!? On a team like the Dark Riders that were purely there for the KILL KEWL factor, I just found him really interesting designed and his powers are kinda neat you have to admit. Wouldn't you want to create underlings of your own? Plus he was totally gang banging Psynapse. Him and his Underlings.

LOL. I just always dug him. Plus he's named after a Fleetwood Mack song.

I wonder who came up with Nanny?

Really, Nanny is a great idea for a character based on the fact that Magneto was getting revenge for his "reverted to infancy" period.

So him coming up with a robot Nanny for the X-Men? That's probably the most clever thing Magneto did outside of pretending to be a Chinese dude with a star for a brain.

Did anyone else?

maybe i'm overthinking this but why do Tusk's underlings look so different from him? he's pretty swarthy. and they're kind of white. plus htey appear to be wearing costumes that look nothing like Tusk's own look. what a weird character.

p.s. i hated Psynapse. i wish Shortpack would kick his dead@$$.

I think Liefeld's done enough for her for this millenium.

i like all of those ideas. Thumbelina has grown on me. i don't care that she's chunky any more. but i think she'd look cool if she slimmed down; especially w/ the pink hair and her usual attitude.

Tusk was his own tumor-ridden midget gangbang waiting to happen. And Nate Grey found out he either had worms, or was a worm. Further making him cringe-worthy.

But the nature of the Dark Riders to hunt down & kill each other to prove that they are fit to survive? As an initiation, hey, whatever. But as a regular practice? How in the blue hell were there so many Dark Riders with a habit like that? They should've been a team of like, one. That concept probably sounded better on the drawing board.

#61 Ursa Major
Real Name: Mikhail Uriokovitch Ursus
First appearance: Incredible Hulk #258
Most recent appearance: She-Hulk #36
Powers: Ursa Major can transform into a giant bear. When in Bear form, he has super enhanced strength, senses and big big teeth and claws.
Status: Back in the U.S.S.R.!
Creator: Bill Mantlo and Sal Buscema

http://media.comicvine.com/uploads/1/11863/386189-170146-ursa-major_super.jpg

Bio
Mikhail Ursus was one of the first mutants in the Soviet Union to make it through childhood. Generally as a rule, the Soviet system euthanized mutant children at the first sign of superhuman manifestation. In order to circumvent this, Mikhail’s parents abandoned him in the mountains, where he was raised by animals and survived mostly in his bear state. Professor Phobos, the Russian version of Professor X, convinced the Soveit regime to allow mutants and superhumans to be used by the government and started a program to train them. Mikhail was one of his best students. At the training school, Mikhail met the mutants Vanguard and Darkstar, whom he’d eventually be on teams with. Sadly, Professor Phobos was a jerk. He was creating a device to siphon off his students powers and give him powers of his own. This process generally killed his students. His plan was uncovered and he fled. Eventually the government put together a team called the Soviet Super Soldiers. Mikhail, joined Darkstar and Vanguard on this team and were sent to hunt down their former mentor. They stumbled into the “Forbidden Zone” an area with high levels of radioactivity. They then foiled Professor Phobos’s attempt to expose all of the Soviet Union to radioactivity in order to foster more mutant births. They brought the man to justice and saved the Red Way of Life, but vowed to never work blindly for the government again. They totally did though, but that’s ok.

http://media.comicvine.com/uploads/0/77/188541-103724-ursa-major_super.jpg

Eventually they formed several different variations on the Soviet Super Soldiers or the Winter Guard. They tangled with the Avengers and the X-men on numerous occasions. However, the team also did a fair amount of teaming up with super heros rather than fighting them. During a memorable DD run, Mikhail and Vanguard teamed up with Daredevil and Black Widow to take down an evil Russian General and save Darkstar and the economic foundation of the East Coast of America! *YAY*

http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/thumb/d/d5/URSAMAJOR_the_bear.jpg/200px-URSAMAJOR_the_bear.jpg

Ursa Major retained his powers on M-Day, but was seen in the comic book known as The Order to be rather looney and crazy after the fact. It’s not known if this was the same Ursa Major though, cuz he got beat down pretty hard and looked way ugly. I choose to go with nope, since the Russians are known for re-using the names of super heroes in their groups. He was last seen in She-Hulk, which I didn’t read and so don’t know much about what happened. Maybe some fanboy can help, since I am not finding much about his shenanigans there.

http://media.comicvine.com/uploads/0/8842/201112-176947-ursa-major_super.jpg

Did you Know?: Ursa Major, also known as Major Ursus, has stood toe to toe and fist to fist with the Hulk and lived to tell the tale. He’s got some SERIOUS strength. His claws are also not very sharp, just like normal bears, though they may be blunt, they are still deadly when used in conjuction with his serious superhuman strength.

#60 The Unuscione Family:
Unus the Untouchable
Unuscione of the Acolytes
Radius of Alpha Flight
Real Name:Angelo Unuscione AKA Gunther Bain, Carmella Unuscione, and Jared Corbo
First appearance: Unus: Uncanny X-Men #8; Unuscione: Uncanny X-Men #298; Radius: Alpha Flight Vol 2 #1
Most recent appearance: Unus: Son of M #6 ; Unuscione: X-Men Legacy #210 ; Radius: Uncanny X-Men #405
Powers: Unus has a psionic force field that he keeps him invulnerable to most attacks. Unus’s barrier has deflected beams of energy, objects of high mass, objects travelling at high speed and telepathy, including that of Professor Xavier. Unuscione has the ability to generate a tangible field composed of bioelectrical-charged psionic energy around herself. This “exoskeleton”, as she calls it, acts as a highly effective body armor, protecting her from telepathic intrusion and a high level of physical damage. While her exoskeleton is primarily a defensive power, she is able to shape her exoskeleton into useful shapes and strike others with it as well. Her exoskeleton can protect her or others of her choosing. She can also generate bioelectric energy charges that cause intense pain and a temporary disruption of neuro impulses by direct contact from others with her exoskeleton. Radius has an impenetrable forcefield that allows a certain level of invulnerability. Unfortunately, while keeping him safe from harm, it prevents him from being able to be touched at all by others.
Status: Unus: Back to the Dirt Nap; Unuscione: Still an Acolyte; Radius: D is for Depowered

Bio:
Unus, the Untouchable AKA Angelo Unuscione AKA Gunther Bain, was a hot Italian dude and full of ambition, he emigrated from Italy and quickly joined the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants. He quickly became best pals with the Brotherhood Member known as Blob. He and Blob had many costumed capers and was brought into conflict with many super heroes and super heroic teams, to include the Defenders, The X-Men, The Champions, The Hulk, and Luke Cage/Iron Fist. He also did a stint with the villainous organization known as Factor Three. He eventually retired from the super villain business and became a professional wrestler. He came out of retirement to aid the Blob against the Hulk and Spider-Man, during the battle his forcefield became out of control and became so impenetrable that it stopped oxygen from coming through. He died in Blob’s arms. He was next seen on the devastated island of Genosha, haunted by “Ghosts” and shaken that these “Ghosts” could penetrate his barrier. He eventually snapped out of his ailment and led a rebel group of mutants on the island against those that were trying to rebuild it peacefully. He was depowered by the M-Day event and in a stroke of serendipity was offered his powers back by Quicksilver, Magneto’s son, via some stolen Terrigian Crystals. These powers although temporary were uncontrollable and he again suffered the fate of death by suffocation. Along the way he possibly sired two (maybe more) kids, although there is some speculation that Unuscione is his sister instead of his daughter.

http://media.comicvine.com/uploads/0/6535/378639-60136-unuscione_super.jpg

Unuscione, was one of the more ruthless members of Magneto’s team known as the Acolytes. She viewed the X-Men as traitors to their race for defending the status quo. She participated in several skirmishes against the X-Folks and never showed any mercy. When Holocaust destroyed the Acolyte’s spacestation base known as Avalon, she used her powers to shield and protect her teammates as they crash landed on Earth. She worked with the X-gang in order to survive in the Australian Outback. Upon rescue, she agreed, along with the rest of the Acolytes to turn themselves over to justice. She later escaped and was seen with Magneto helping to rule the Island of Genosha. She survived the Sentinel’s devastation of that nation and retained her mutant powers during the M-Day debacle. She joined up with Exodus and Sinister’s Marauder/Acolyte Hybrid team and helped to hunt down Destiny’s diaries and the hunt for the mutant baby in the Messiah Complex. She’s still kicking butt and taking names.

http://media.comicvine.com/uploads/0/77/197129-155714-radius_super.jpg

Radius was a cocky athletic goodlooking young man when he joined the Canadian superteam Alpha Flight. He and his shy half-brother, Adrian Corbo, had both been raised at the orphanage known as Hull House. His half brother had been searching for information on his parents and was able to confirm that Jared’s father was Unus the Untouchable. Along with his shy introverted half brother Flex, the two contributed valiantly to that teams endeavors for a short time. During this time, he had a brief flirtation with teammember and fellow mutant Murmur, but it was revealed that he was incapable of having human touch, so she quickly dropped him like he was hot. He was an arrogant dude in his time with Alpha Flight, but his bravado didn’t waver when he was demoted to the Beta Flight team when the original Alpha team showed up. He’s next seen as a member of the X-Corps in Paris. He battled Avalanche and is taken down when buried in a huge earthquake. His forcefield protects him from harm, but he’s taken out of the battle. Jared is next seen to be depowered by M-Day. What a bummer.

Did you know?: The three members of the Unuscione family have never met each other.

Unus: He had to be one hip cat. Blob's a selfish bastard, but he lost his mind when he thought Unus dead, the first time his force shield suffocated him.

Of course, he came back from the dead after that... so we might see him pop out of a coffin, someday.

Unus' best power feat? He survived a strike from Karnak, from the Inhumans. THAT is badass force field strength, right there.

Unuscione: Deadly, deadly flower. *swoon* I like Unuscione. She's pretty straight-forward, powerwise. I wish someone would do more than just make her fodder in a big fight, though, like some of the early Acolytes appearances. Have her help Frenzy back to health, or appeal to Exodus with her womanly charms... something, you know? I'd even settle for seeing her reject Random for wanting to get his putty-like, teenage boy weiner in her. In fact, that last one is now my favorite idea for the character.

Radius: I liked him. I really did. He was brash, and cocky, and I wanted a "will they or won't they" between him and Murmur. Not unlike Gambit & Rogue.

Speaking of which... Rogue could touch Radius! Happened during a 90s Alpha vs. X-Men crossover. Made me wonder if his full body sheath would get him some of her sweet sugah! Then again, like all selfish men, he'd probably whine about how his force field still wouldn't let him really feel anyhing.

Anyway, again with the Blob... Mr. Dukes and Avalanche c-blocked Radius during the X-Corps storyline, when they ambushed him while he was trying to solicit Stacy X to use her pheromones to get him to have a massage w/ happy ending. He was supposed to have died when crushed in a chasm by Avalanche, but they revealed he survived. Then they depowered him.

Which annoys me. He really had a lot of sympathetic qualities. My favorite of the 90s Alpha Flight.

Real Name: Nikolai Krylenko
First appearance: Iron Man #109
Most recent appearance: X-Men: The 198 Files
Powers: Vanguard projects an energy wave around his body that repels any force directed at it. He focuses his mutant energy and willpower through his sickle and hammer. He can also create and shoot electric charges through his sickle and hammer. His barrier can stop kinetic impact, various forms of electromagnetic radiation, and gravity enabling him to fly
Status: Back in the U.S.S.R.!
Creator: Bill Mantlo and Carmine Infantino

http://media.comicvine.com/uploads/0/77/188577-187946-vanguard_super.jpg

Bio
Nikolai was born in Minsk to famed nuclear physicist Sergei Krylov, but him and his twin sister Laynia Petrovna were taken away by the Soviet Government due to the possibility of them being mutants. They were raised separately and when their mutant abilitities manifested they were to be turned into soldiers to fight for the communist regime. As a member of the Soviet Super Soldier program Vanguard tangled with many American super heroes, especially Iron Man.

Later, the government wanted the threat of the Presence, eliminated. Sergei Krylov had previously engineered a Chernobyl-like nuclear disaster to transform himself and Dr. Tania Belinsky, aka Red Guardian II, into superhuman beings. The Soviet Government sent his own children, unaware of their true relationship, to murder him. As they do in all melodramatic soap operas, the kids learned that he was their father and turned against the Soviet regime. Vanguard, Darkstar, and Ursa Major became agents on their own, fighting for the good of the people without Government sanction.

Eventually, Vanguard became fed up with the “corrupted Communist system”, and he led Ursa Major and Darkstar to defect to the United States. The trio were quickly captured and returned to the Soviet states by the government-sponsored People's Protectorate. Thankfully, they were rescued by Blindfaith and a team of mutant exiles. They agreed to help form an underground team that would fight for the people under a government that hates and fears them, thus was born the Exiles.

http://media.comicvine.com/uploads/0/5586/451285-van1_super.jpg

Later, Vanguard and Darkstar were asked by Quasar, Wendell not the Lesbian version, for help in facing the menace of the alien Starblasters. The Starblasters wanted desperately to own the power of the mysterious Starbrand, hosted in the body of Quasar's girlfriend.(LOL, That Mary had a “Girlfriend”?) During the fierce battle, Vanguard was unfortunately killed. In her grief, Darkstar blamed Quasar and fled back to Russia. Later encountering her father again, Darkstar shared her feelings with him, and the Presence forced Quasar to flee Earth or risk his vengeance. The Presence visited the memorial to his son and sought to revive him. He shifted his atoms to microscopically enter the body of his son and discovered a trace of his mutant energy remained, keeping him faintly alive. The Presence nearly exhausted his own power, but managed to resurrect his son. The Presence was severely weakened by this feat and was left lost in a subatomic reality thing that I didn’t really understand that well.

Vanguard decided that he loved communism again, or at least the ideals of it and was next seen helping General Tskarov with an insidious plot to turn the East Coast of the U.S. into a communist state by undermining businesses and infrastructure. He did this part because of his belief in the good of the communist system but also because the General had promised to help find his lost sister. Darkstar had gone and gotten herself lost and he thought that General Tskarov could help find her. It turns out that the evil commie General had in fact kidnapped her and was experimenting on her. Ursa Major and Vanguard decided to team up with Daredevil and Black Widow to take down the General and free pretty little Darkstar.

http://media.comicvine.com/uploads/0/77/188579-177059-vanguard_super.jpg

Finally, we see Vanguard and the Winter Guard (basically an amalgamation of most of the remaining members of all the previous soviet teams) confronting the Avengers and Vanguard’s father, The Presence. The Presence had gotten himself back together after being harmed by resurrecting his son and had managed to find even more powers in the process. He had a plan to turn all of the Russian people into Radioactive Zombies who would share a communal mind. Ultimately it was Starlight, the Presence’s companion who offered a solution to the impasse and turned all those effected back into non-zombies. Starlight and the Presence both went to prison after that. Vanguard hasn’t been seen since.

Did you know?: Vanguard’s sister got him resurrected when he died, just by whining to their pops. Maybe Vanguard can get the Presence to resurrect her! Vanguard was always a haughty hot tempered dude, but I enjoyed his jerkyness. I first read about him in a Official Handbook of the Marvel Universe and was my 9 year old mind was FASCINATED for some reason. Maybe it was the cape. Marvel didn’t have very many capes.

#63 Vanisher
Real Name: Telford Porter
First appearance: Uncanny X-Men #2
Most recent appearance: X-Force Vol 2 #9
Powers: Vanisher can teleport across huge distances in a single jump. He traverses on the Darkforce Dimension when teleporting. He has the extrasensory ability that does not allow him to materizlize within a solid object.
Status: Working with X-Force, but not by choice
Creator: Stan Lee and Jack Kirby

http://media.comicvine.com/uploads/3/30665/637194-uxmen002_super.jpg

Bio
Telford Porter showed up first as a petty thief and bank robber. That all changed when he publicly announced that he was going to break into the Pentagon and steal top secret U.S. Defense documents. Talk about big balls! With an outfit like that though, he needed them. Word spread throughout the criminal community and many crime bosses pledged their support and loyalty to Telford. Telford as the Vanisher, teleported into the heavily guarded building and grabbed the documents and disappeared before he could even be touched. Outside the building he tangled with the X-Men, but they just couldn’t manage to lay a finger on him. Vanisher offered a ransom deal for the documents back to the U.S. for a 10 million dollar fee, which was huge money back in the day. With the backing of the Mafia and a cadre of other criminal bosses, Telford and his cronies decided to collect their due from the White House. The Vanisher was over confident from his first trouncing of the X-Men and was taken down by Professor X’s mental assault. Xavier filled Telford with fear and doubt and then mentally blocked his ability to teleport. He then brutally erased Telford’s memories. He removed his knowledge of his actions as Vanisher, removed his knowledge of his super powers, and even removed his knowledge of his own identity. Professor Xavier was not a bitch to be messed with back in the day. Put that in X-Men Legacy would ya!

http://media.comicvine.com/uploads/3/31499/648339-vanisher_00_super.jpg

Eventually, Telford regains his memories and joins the subversive group known as Factor Three. After the leader of Factor Three, The Mutant Master, is revealed to be an insane alien of the Siris race bent on World Domination, Telford teams up with the X-Men to take him down. After a short absence away from the mutant scene, The Vanisher joins the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants and gets whooped by the Champions. Darkstar trapped him in the Darkforce dimension mid teleport. It was pretty cool. He also got beat down by the *yawn* Fantastic Four. But all of this led to him leading the coolest team of adolescent malcontents ever! The Fallen Angels. He was a total Fagin to Boom Boom’s Oliver Twist. LOL. Mean and cranky and running a team full of teenage thieves. It was fantastic and Telford was a love to hate type character. Which in my opinion are generally the best kind.

He did some time being enslaved and mind controlled in the New Warriors by Asylum, but eventually was freed. He also joined a group called The New Enforcers along with Eel and Blitz and tussled with AIM and Hydra before being taken down by Spider-Man.

http://media.comicvine.com/uploads/0/77/83748-194150-vanisher_super.jpg

In my second favorite Vanisher story, we see that Vanisher in an attempt to better understand his powers visited the Darkforce dimension and is captured by it’s inhabitants. There they force him to read them stories. It had fantastic Adam Pollina art and Warpath is manipulated into rescuing Telford from his Story loving captors. It was like one of the most quirky stories ever told in X-Lore. <3 <3 <3

Returning to his criminal roots and dropping the costume, Telford becomes a South American Drug Cartel leader. He’s manufacturing and distributing the drug MGH (Mutant Growth Hormone), which gives temporary mutant powers to it’s user, throughout the Americas. His operation is disrupted by Angel, Nightcrawler, Iceman and Stacy X in a really well written Annual. I highly recommend the story. Telford had been absent since then, but has recently shown up in the pages of Chris Yost’s uber bloody X-Force. He’s ambushed by X-Force for stealing a vial of the Legacy Virus. In finding out who he was working for, X-Force has Elixir create a brain tumor in his head in the shape of an X. He’s apparently going to be their indentured servant while he works off his debt to society and gets the tumor removed. At least until Yost decides he needs cannon fodder. Say it ain’t so Mr. Yost!

http://media.comicvine.com/uploads/0/9241/566534-0002_super.jpg

Did you Know?: The Vanisher was the second foe that the X-men ever faced. For a throw away character, that’s pretty darn cool that he’s still alive and still powered. He has had perhaps the worst costumes in X-Men Villain history and that’s saying something. Oh Yeah! I almost forgot, he also got really into tattoos apparently. Since tattoos make pretty much everyone hotter.

He was so awesome in Joe Casey's arc and he's turning out to be an awesome hero-villain in X-Force. I love how former baddies like Lady Mastermind and Mystique may betray the team but are at least effective--but Vanisher just flees. LOL.

Vanguard: Pretty indifferent about him, save for the fact that he's always a favorite pick, it seems in both Avengers League, and Mutant League. His "counter-force" kind of power just screws with people somethin' fierce, I guess. Bottom line is: Darkstar was the cooler of the two, hands down.

Vanisher: Always liked the idea of an evil teleporter. Except for Astra, who's essentially Vanisher with a hoo-hoo, and a grudge against Magneto. But yeah, his 21st century return as the head of a huge drug cartel was a great twist for the guy, it's a shame that the tale didn't go that far. I wouldn't have minded seeing Telford as a force to be reckoned with in the X-world, operating out of South America.

And Mike Carey should get around to a flashback of Xavier f***ing with Vanisher's head. That really was over the line, even if he was stealing top secret shiznit from the Pentagon all the time. You'd think the government would've just hired him to steal documents from the Soviets, and make him useful. Or did they? Hmm...

#64 Vincente
Real Name: Vincente Cimetta
First appearance: Generation NeXt #2
Most recent appearance: Generation X #57
Powers: Vincente has the ability to form any liquid or gas substance that he can understand. He’s been known to form dust clouds, poisonous gas and liquids, soup, vodka and water. Upon transformation, he takes the color of the substance he’s forming.
Status: Missing, but not from my heart
Creator: Scott Lobdell and Chris Bachalo

http://media.comicvine.com/uploads/1/10069/457958-vincente_00_super.jpg

Bio
Vincente first showed up as a character in the wildly popular and critically acclaimed AOA miniseries Generation NeXt. There in a dystopian future, the kids of Generation X were led by Kitty Pryde and Piotr Rasputin. This world was ruled by the evil Lord Apocalypse. Unfortunately, Apocalypse’s boot heel of tyranny had infested even these kids and they were much more aggressive and cold than their 616 Marvel equivalents. Vincente stole the freaking show in this miniseries. He was instrumental in their plans to infliltrate the Seattle Core, a work prison for flat scan humans to toil for the greater good of mutants, to rescue Illyana Rasputin. Vincente and Husk infiltrated their headquarters and Vincente killed Quietus, one of the main wardens. Vincente and Husk formed together to impersonate Queitus. It was there in the Core bathroom that Husk, a spunky brunette cheated on her boyfriend with the hapless Vincente. He wasn’t too thrilled with it, but hey, what are you gonna do when the girls can’t resist you? Vincente was critically injured in the rescue mission as it went south. It is assumed that he died in Husk’s arms, although Husk was later shown to have survived. He also hated to be called “Vinnie”

http://media.comicvine.com/uploads/0/7666/426457-vincente00_super.jpg

In the 616 Marvel Universe, Vincente shows up as a victim of Emplate’s vampiric thrall. Along with other members of Vincente’s hellions, Vincente is shown to attack the Generation X kids. He impersonates a pot of soup and is about to be eaten by the kids. When M, an avid soup lover, opens the pot’s lid, to smell the brew, Vincente in the form of purple soup steam strikes and enters her lungs in an attempt to knock her out. He did knock out the majority of the Gen X crew with his crafty move, but not before M is able to cry out telepathically for help. The X-Man Bishop heeds M’s call and arrives just in time to foil Emplate’s plans. Vincente still in his knock out gas form tries to knock out Bishop in the same manner that he took down the kids, but Bishop’s power to absorb energy begins to absorb him! Vincente barely escapes with his life! This turned the tide and Emplate’s Hellions are forced into retreating and escaping.

http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y127/colganmichael/vinc6.jpg

Vincente is next seen still in Emplate’s vampiric thrall. Emplate attacks the Generation X squad in a fit of hunger desperate to get the mutant known as Penance back as his personal Taco Bell Grande Meal. Vincente’s now able to create poisonous clouds, but before he can tear it up, Iceman steps in and freezes him. Without Vincente, Emplate’s Hellions are just not enough to take down the well experienced kids this time and Vincente is seen escaping with his pal Bulwark. Bulwark is later seen without his vampiric virus, so odds are that Vincente has likely escaped Emplate’s grasp as well. He’s likely hanging out in Spain, fighting off Brunette’s who continuously throw themselves at him. Watch out Brunette’s Vincente is going to have a big year in 2009.

Did you Know?: It’s been theorized that while in Emplate’s vampiric thrall that mutants don’t age, much like normal vampires. So Vincente would likely be significantly younger than his Generation X compadres. Also, Scott Lobdell, creator of Generation X and all these great characters, supposedly had bigger plans for Vincente (and Mondo) but left before they could be enacted.

If you’d like to visit threads about how great Vincente is please click here: Mikl’s super cool thread (http://forums.comicbookresources.com/showthread.php?t=199118&highlight=vincente) or here: Pach!’s super cool thread (http://forums.comicbookresources.com/showthread.php?t=216083&highlight=vincente).

Creator: Nunzio DeFilippis & Christina Weir; Keron Grant, possibly Joshua Middleton (http://media.comicvine.com/uploads/1/18265/376459-120674-renascence_super.jpg)

Bio:
Sofia Mantega grew up with her single mother, Miranda in Venezuela. Sofia was able to revel in her mutant abilities and simultaneously enjoy a loving home, but that life ended tragically when Miranda was killed in a riot while shopping for a gift for Sofia.

Because Sofia's uncle could not bare to raise a mutant, Sofia was sent to America to live with the father she never knew--market entrepreneur Walter Barrett. Barrett showed no affection to his daughter and coldly dictated that she live a low-key life, never to use her mutant powers, while he tried to find ways to disprove paternity.

As her father's coldness grew and she struggled to fit into her ethnocentric school (http://i405.photobucket.com/albums/pp139/maleficent_grl/D-Listing/winddancer.jpg), Sofia's temper reached a boiling point. After an unsuccessful attempt at flying over a wall (http://i405.photobucket.com/albums/pp139/maleficent_grl/D-Listing/thump.jpg), she fled school to pay a visit to one of her father's supermarkets. Sofia unleashed the wild nature of her powers, destroyed the building, and was arrested shortly after.

http://i405.photobucket.com/albums/pp139/maleficent_grl/D-Listing/3.jpg

While her father refused to bail her out of prison, he also denied her to be bailed out by the X-Men's Moonstar and join the Xavier Institute, an established school for mutants. After a persuasive argument, he agreed to allow his daughter to join the school and learn how to better use her mutant abilities.

There, unlike in her previous schools, Sofia found herself in her element and quickly made friends. While she flocked towards social outcasts like Laurie Collins (Wallflower), a snobby telekinetic named Julian Keller (Hellion) gravitated toward Sofia and even gave her a tour of the school. While the two shared an undeniable chemistry, Sofia could not tolerate Julian's elitist attitude toward her new friends and brushed him off.

http://i405.photobucket.com/albums/pp139/maleficent_grl/D-Listing/2.jpg

When a squad system was enacted, Sofia co-led her team of New Mutants. While she was said to be a good communicator, her hot temper and spontaneity often made her teammates question her capabilities. During various confrontations, Sofia had to be restrained from killing one of the Reavers as well as from attacking her father.

Her loyalties were put to the test after urges from Emma Frost and Hellion to join their Hellions squad. During a disagreement over rescuing fellow student and New Mutant teammate Wither from FBI custody, Sofia briefly left the team to join up with the Hellions.

http://i405.photobucket.com/albums/pp139/maleficent_grl/D-Listing/4.jpg

As time went on, Sofia and Julian's relationship suffered many lows and highs. At first rivals as leaders of opposing teams, the two eventually compromised and made their romance official. While Sofia had become more open to her rebelliousness Julian in turn showed a more sensitive side that he did not show to anyone else.

When 98% of the mutant population lost their powers to the Scarlet Witch's magical edict, Sofia was one of the unfortunate casualties. No longer a mutant, Sofia overheard Hellion speaking disparaging about depowered mutants. Deeply hurt and with all affected mutants told to return home, she quickly left the Institute to return to Venezuela despite his pleas.

Shortly after her departure, the school was attacked and nearly all the other depowered students were killed by religious nut William Stryker and his band of Purifiers.

Sofia later reemerged--not home in Venezuela--but as a waitress in a diner in New York City. There she has been shown associating with fellow depowered mutants Chamber and Jubilee in attempts to continue fighting as warriors for what they believe in without or without powers.

While she still longs for her old life and her old friends, she is determined to find stability in her ever-changing life.

Where her and her new friends will land remains to be seen.

Did You Know? Sofia has been teammates with at least one member of each of the three junior X-teams!

Real Name: Mark Sheppard
First appearance: New X-Men Academy X #2
Most recent appearance: New X-Men #24

http://i380.photobucket.com/albums/oo245/mustafe9/DJ3.jpg

Bio
Not much is known of DJ. In his first appearance he was part of Scott's training squad, The Corsairs. But somewhere off-panel between issue 2 and 12 of Academy X, he switched to Rahne's Paragons squad and helped to take down the Hulk-simulation.

He was a flirt, apparently. However, he never actually flirted with anyone except once when he was about to die.

http://i380.photobucket.com/albums/oo245/mustafe9/DJ.jpg

He also likes all kinds of music but was only shown wearing headphones once in the background of a scene.

http://i380.photobucket.com/albums/oo245/mustafe9/DJ6.jpg

He, along with his Squad-mates, were not pleased at Rahne's leaving. And he actually said something about it!

http://i380.photobucket.com/albums/oo245/mustafe9/DJ5.jpg

He was sadly de-powered after M-Day and was later killed in the bus explosion. Totally sad, I know! And he might have been eaten by Predator X!

Did you know? His final words were "Kahk! Huhh! H-hey you're pretty" and he said it to X-23. He probably wouldn't like her because she's the "too serious, too soon" type.

Tangerine is first mentioned in Excalibur #54, by Widget, with the line "Stop, Tangerine". Oooh, Cryptic.

It's not until #66 (Days of Future Yet to Come) - that we actually find out what all that was about. This issue iwe see pretty much all the UK heroes of the imprint years in the same place at the same time - Dark Angel, Motormouth & Killpower,Knights of Pendragon, Death’s Head and Union Jack. But amongst their number is one young woman we’ve never seen before.

Tangerine.

http://i59.photobucket.com/albums/g318/Joe_Dynamo/tangerine.jpg

Giant ginger afro and flared apparel are the way into my heart – In her appearance in this arc, she used her powers as a sort of "early warning" system, read the mind of Widget, In #67 all the heroes travel to The Hive, where the other heroes had been holding up. Only the sentinels had found them. Simply by being in the area Tangerine relived the moments of their death, literally, from memories present in the area. felt the deaths of hundreds of heroes around her. SAD MOMENT.

http://i59.photobucket.com/albums/g318/Joe_Dynamo/tangerina.jpg

Luckily, that wasn't the last we'd see of Tangerine. It would be a good 27 issues later, when Captain Britain started experiencing a series of 'Future-echoes' showing him glimpses of what was to come.

We see her next in Excalibutr #94, In "Days of future tense", where The Sentinels have killed everybody of relevance, and it is down to Wolfsbane, Captain Britain and Meggan,Pete Wisdom, Karma, Psylocke, and Tangerine!

http://i59.photobucket.com/albums/g318/Joe_Dynamo/tangerine1.jpg

Gone is the Afro - in comes the long hair, the glasses are there, but they're not round anymore; all round this is black ops and black leather re-envisioning. But where as Davis' Tangerine seemed to very respectful of the use of her powers, Ellis' Tangerine is not. She wanders around the heads of her team-mates as she pleases - their thoughts, their memories... their dreams.

Ellis' Tangerine is a bitch. She is a talented Psi (she'd need to be to breach Betsy's own defences) And will burn you if you aren't pulling yo' weight. She is also Hilarious.

YAY, more opinions on D-Listers:

16. GRIZZLY: Eh, he's okay... I hated that he got in X-Men Legends II over all of my favorites (c'mon, Frenzy would've made a much better boss fight), but that game sucked as it is. I also like that Anaconda is the replacement "Grizzly" from the new Six pack.

17. GYPSY MOTH: Absolutely love her, she's a great Spider-Woman villain and I loved her in Thunderbolts. I really hope she shows up in Spider-Woman's new series. Why she wasn't a member of the Sisterhood, nobody knows. Oh yeah we do, they're not using any mutants aside from Mastermind.

18. HALLOWEEN JACK: I had his action figure. I pretended it was a girl.

19. HORSEMEN OF APOCALYPSE: Love them. They were sympathetic yet awesome villains, and Fall of the Mutants remains one of my favorite storylines of all time. I particularly loved Famine and War, who need to return at some point and they need to ditch the Horsemen ongoing plot twist. Because it's no longer a twist if one of the X-Men becomes a Horseman.

20. ICARUS: I was never particularly in love with him, he was kind of just there for me. However, because of my loverboy Josef F., I have taken a liking to him and he should return!

21. SHOLA INKOSE: I found him to be possibly the most boring part of New Excalibur next to Karima. And Hub/Hack. Actually, the whole cast sucked except Freakshow and Wicked. And Appraiser.

22. ELENA IVANOVA: Dunno who she is, but illusionists are always awesome.

23. KLEINSTOCK BROTHERS: Love them, they're my favorite Acolytes next to Frenzy. I love the brotherly love they share and how Eric wasn't welcome in the reindeer games. I really hope they return one day with the other missing Acolytes... I mean really, why bring back VINDALOO and GARGOUILLE and not the Kleinstock Brothers and Scanner?!

24. LIFEFORCE: She was okay, I liked her "friendship" with Hurricane. And by friendship, there was really none, but they always seemed to be partnered in everything they do. They even died together, which was nice, since it spared them from being tortured and murdered by Wolverine.

25. LOCUS: She's my least favorite MLF member. Pick a race, gurl! And this isn't the first time Marvel confuses someone's race. Two members of the Serpent Society, Puff Adder and Black Racer, are constantly being switched to different races.

26. LOIS LONDON: I'm not far enough into Dazzler to have read her yet.

27. MAGGOTT: Don't like him much, he has a pretty cool look, but lame powers. I'd be fine if they left him in the gas chambers.

28. MANDRILL: I hate him, lmao. And actually, I went to a party a few nights ago and one of the women wanted the DJ to play "MANDRILL" and all I could think about was this rapist.

29. MARY MARGARET: She sounds like a nun.

30. MONDO: I like that there's a big guy without his powers having anything to do with it. That's partially why I love Hurricane from the Dark Riders, also... he's huge but his powers are to control the wind. I didn't read much Generation X, though.

31. MURMUR I: Dunno him, but he seems really cool. I love that he has a mouth on his chest, it's quirky designs like that which are really fun.

32. MURMUR II: This is the Murmur I remember... she's pretty cool but honestly I've always been indifferent towards her.

33. NANNY: Where the eff is she now?! She needs to snap some sense back in Magneto for hurtin' his gal Frenzy.

34. NASTY BOYS: Love them... well, Gorgeous George and Ruckus anyway. Slab is also pretty nice, but I don't care much for Ramrod or Hairbag (who is disgusting). I still think they should merge the cool Nasty Boys into the Marauders... Ruckus and Vertigo worked really well together in the animated series. I could see them as BFFs (though Ruckus would be moving in on Prism's territory).

35. NEOPHYTE: I always loved him ever since his trial in Uncanny #315. It's awful the other Acolytes wanted him dead, but I wonder how they reconciled... because in one issue, he just randomly appeared back with the group as if his betrayal never happened. Odd... but he was such a twink. He should hook up with Projector, who is also hot.

36. NEUROTAP: I dunno who this is, but what an awful codename. Still, nice to see more non-white characters created.

37. NO-GIRL: I never paid that much attention to her in the issues of Morrison's run that I read.

38. ORACLE: Definitely one of the more interesting members of the Imperial Guard. I hated her naked re-design... her original was classic.

39. PARADIGM: I always found him really interesting. I'd let him techno-do me.

40. PERRO: I love him, my favorite member of the Children. I was ecstatic when he was the only one to come out alive (besides Serafina).

Bedlam

Real Name: Jesse Aaronson
First Appearance: Factor X#1(AoA), X-Force #82(616)
Most Recent appearance: Uncanny X-men #423
Powers:Bedlam could generate a bioelectric field that disrupted mechanical and electrical systems. Bedlam could also directly affect the electro-chemical responses of a living brain to induce states such as pain, confusion, or sleep, generate electromagnetic pulses, and track others by their unique bio-emp signature.
Status: D is for possibly Deceased, MIA
Creators: John Francis Moore, Jim Cheung
http://i286.photobucket.com/albums/ll105/Bedlam_2008/162129-45297-jesse-bedlam_super.jpg

BIO:
Orphaned at a young age after his brother Christopher used his mutant powers to drive their father insane while driving, causing him to lose control of the family car, Jesse Aaronson was placed in foster care. Separated from his brother, Jesse became emotionally unstable and was committed to a psychiatric institution after seeing several therapists. There his mutant nature manifested, and Jesse’s doctor, Dr. Derek Parsons, saw his condition as a means to getting a book published by subjecting him to a series of cruel tests. Jesse was rescued by members of the Mutant Underground Support Engine (M.U.S.E.), who cared for Jesse’s well-being while training him as a field agent, codenamed Bedlam.

At the age of 19, Jesse left the Mutant Underground to seek out his brother. He enlisted the help of mutant spy/mercenary Domino to help him in his goal. He cut a deal with Domino, agreeing to give her the location of Ekatarina Gryaznova (the Prime Sentinel who implanted her with a neural-disruption device that shorted out her mutant powers during Operation: Zero Tolerance) in return for her aid in finding Christopher. Domino agreed, but only if Jesse took her to Gryaznova first. They broke into the Aguilar Institute, but Domino was captured. Jesse escaped and sought the help of the mutant strike team X-Force.
http://i286.photobucket.com/albums/ll105/Bedlam_2008/xforcev108204af0-1.jpg

In the end, the team managed to free Domino and apparently kill Gryphon. In the process Jesse also short-circuited the implants that severly diminished her mutant powers. Keeping up her end of the bargain Domino helped jesse to find his brother. His parents were actually information analysts at the National Security Department. They paid a visit to his parents' former supervisor, Dabney Saunders, who was residing in a retirement home, babbling incoherent sentences. Domino, however, discovered the orderly in charge of Saunders informing an unidentified man about their visit. Both Bedlam and Domino broke into the mysterious man's home using Jesse's power and were subsequently attacked by Magma and Paradigm. Bedlam used his powers to disrupt Paradigm's electronics, knocking out Magma in the process. However, they were subdued by none other than Jesse's brother, Christopher. Christopher, calling himself King Bedlam, has the power to disrupt the higher functions of the brain. Chris was tagged as a mutant at the age of six by the N.S.D. and was taken into a research center after their parents' death. At age 13 he fled, destroying Saunders mind in the process. He had now founded a new team of Hellions and offered an invitation of membership to Jesse, who gladly accepted. The group's true intentions, however, were to reanimate the Armageddon Man in order to blackmail the U.S. government into paying one billion dollars. X-Force managed to subdue the Armageddon Man, but the New Hellions managed to escape. Jesse was invited back to join X-Force, as he had discovered that it was his brother responsible for their parents' death. WHAT A JERK RIGHT?!?!

http://i286.photobucket.com/albums/ll105/Bedlam_2008/346264-114545-x-force_super.jpg
Jesse stayed with the team, and went on lots more missions, including, going after the new Chaos bear, fighting Selene, The Aguilar Institute, and even Magneto. When the team went on a mission to Genosha, a woman by the name of Delphi, gave Jesse a memory box that contained the knowledge of a master martial artist. Jesse was now a fully trained black belt, though he still had to train his body to use the moves.

http://i286.photobucket.com/albums/ll105/Bedlam_2008/Bedlam3.jpg
When X-force went all black ops courtesy of Pete Wisdom Jesse stayed and learned to use his powers from a distance. After a lot of weird stuff happned and Domino returned, the team supposedly died but reappeared to fight the new X-statix. Except for Jesse. Months later, Jesse appeard on a cross, hung up on the Xmen's lawn along with Jubilee, Magma, Skin, and some other random mutants. HOW the great Wolverine or Jean grey didn't noice people appearing on their lawn I will never know. Anyways supposedly Jesse died but it was never actually shown on-panel and therefore doesn't count. Any writer(hopefully a good one will write the story of Jesse again. A nice M.U.S.E story would be good. It could even include Shortpack. A great place for Jesse would be X-force, dut to his covert training and killer powers he would be great there.

Did You Know: Jesse use to have to take medication so that his own powers wouldn't affect his mind and drive him crazy?! He also came off a jerk because he spoke his mind even when others didn't want to hear it. He also liked to run away from fights because he didn't want to die. SMART!!!!

Most recent appearance: Uncanny X-Men #367
Powers: Razorsharp claws and fangs, superhuman senses, strength, speed, agility, reflexes, coordination, endurance, invulnerability, resistant to life draining
Status: Undetermined
Creator: Scott Lobdell, John Romita, Jr.
Bio:
Little is known about Mellencamp's past, save that he was severely and inhumanly abused and mistreated as a child due to his developing mutation.

A loyal follower of Magneto and his teachings that mutants are superior to humans, so much so that he has been referred to as the "Noble Knight of the Acolytes." During his first battle with the X-Men, Mellencamp is, rather unceremoniously defeated by Jean Grey when she throws him hella far.

As Mellencamp was invulnerable, he survives this attack and in his second conflict with X-Factor, he tries to kill Multiple Man. As a last resort, Multiple Man creates a duplicate of himself within Mellancamp's body, supposedly killing him.

A little death didn’t keep Mellencamp down however as he returns without explanation in Heroes for Hire, Exodus had supposedly resurrected him (yay).

Mellencamp remained an Acolyte over the next few months and follows Magneto when he takes over the island state of Genosha. And he hasn’t been seen since the Sentinels destroyed Genosha, but something like that shouldn’t keep Mellecamp down.

Did you Know?: Mellencamp got his nickname "Noble Knight of the Acolytes” because he served Magneto as a knight serves a king? He’s one of the few Acolytes that Scarlet Witch considers a friend and can have an intelligent conversation with. Mellencamp also has Heterochromia, his left eye is red, and his right eye is a silver/white.

Since my favorite Acolyte wasn't on the list I decided to do one myself.

Now if ever there was a creepy, scary looking badguy its Mellencamp.

They could make a really sinister story with this guy. Something along the lines of the Buffy episode when flu lands Buffy in the hospital and she has to rescue fevered children from Der Kindestod

This guy:
http://i172.photobucket.com/albums/w6/angrywaiter/kinderstod.jpg

It could be pixie alone in the Frisco base, trying to sleep having lost her soul dagger, black hair and teleporting spell. When Mellencamp comes a calling, seeking to drain her soul now that she is magically defenceless.

His claws scratching along the walls wake her from her slumber, terrified she knows nothing but fear as she faces the certainty of a painful, tormented death

See I personally think Mellencamp would work great as a gentle giant/knight templar type of thing. Take up more on his past when he was tortured by his parents, maybe take up why he followed Magneto. Or have him get a change of heart and join X-Force. He's like Wolverine and Warpath combined into a nice package.

I would like to find out his motivation. Removing him from being a throwaway (no-pun intended) villain and someone with depth.

He has depth personality wise at least, to quote wikipedia. (Which means take it with a grain of salt.)

Mellancamp has gained the nickname of "Noble Knight of the Acolytes" because he has served Magneto as a knight serves its king. He has a strict personal code, stating that he will defend his allies and friends completely, and treat his enemy with respect.

Mellancamp absolutely hates torture. He was abused severely both physically and mentally as a child by his parents on inhumane levels, resulting in him keeping his feelings to himself and not showing much emotion. He is friendly though, as he befriended Scarlet Witch, who respected him and considered him to be one of the few people following Magneto who she could have intelligent company with when compared to others like Toad and Blob.

Mellancamp is portrayed as a smart and quiet person. He keeps himself calm, reserved, and polite at all times, even going so far as to warn his enemies to think over their decision of choosing to fight him. When entering battle, his personality changes. He becomes a vicious animal of a man, while retaining his intelligence- this makes him a very deadly foe combining raw animal savagery, and a human's thinking.

This personality change is a mental condition. All of the sufferings from Mellancamp's life is used to spur him on to fight and beat his opponent down. When he has finished fighting, his personality changes back to his calmer self.

If someone would use him than they should just expand on the above.

Real Name: David Alleyne
First appearance: New Mutants (2nd Series) #4
Most recent appearance: Secret Invasion: X-Men #4
Powers: Telepathically absorbs knowledge and skills (but not powers) of those around him.
Status: D is for de-powered.
Creator: Nunzio DeFilippis & Christina Weir

http://i380.photobucket.com/albums/oo245/mustafe9/Prodigy.jpg

Bio:

David Alleyne was always the smart kid in class. But one day he realized he was figuring out the answers before the questions were even asked. Being a smart kid, he figured out that he was a mutant and was able to absorb knowledge and skills from those around him. However this made him feel like he was cheating, so he studied extra hard and spent his summers taking extra classes at the University of Chicago. And he made friends with the Librarian and recent graduate Xi'an Coy Manh, the mutant known as Karma.

When Professor X finds David, he sends Dani Moonstar out to recruit him and she learns that his powers have been discovered by a hate group called Purity. She talks to his parents and they agree that sending him to the Xavier Institute is the best choice.

At the Institute he quickly makes friends and they are officially turned into the New Mutants training squad. Initially Dani chooses David as the leader, however he refuses arguing that he doesn't want to become an X-Man, he just wants to learn to control his powers. He eventually does become co-leader though, along with Sofia Mantega aka Wind Dancer.

http://i380.photobucket.com/albums/oo245/mustafe9/Prodigy2.jpg

David was frequently teased by rival squad leader Julian Keller, aka Hellion for not having an offensive power and David began to feel self-conscious about it. He consulted Emma Frost and she informed him that he had a mental block on his powers that didn't allow him to retain any knowledge gained after his subject moved out of range. He requested that she remove these mental blocks and he was able to keep the knowledge he gained forever. This new ability made him cold and distant and he eventually killed Josh Foley, aka Elixir in order to create cures for cancer and aids. He grows up and becomes a wealthy genius and eventually president. As president he rid the country of all disease, poverty and unemployment and decided it was time he extended his rule to the rest of the world. In order to do so he decided to wipe out China by teleporting hundreds of nuclear warheads directly onto them.

http://prettythings.pullbot.com/artworks/28486/NEWXAX011_550_medium.jpg

The future Hellions along with the future New Mutants collectively take him down and David awakes from the illusion he was having. Dani Moonstar showed him his greatest fear which was removing the mental blocks, so he chose to keep them in. Soon afterwards, he begun a relationship with team-mate Noriko Ashida, aka Surge

David was de-powered on M-day, but he remained at the institute because it was too dangerous for him to leave (with the bus explosion and people targeting former mutants). He was one of many students pulled into Limbo by Belasco and he had his heart ripped out. However, Elixir (who was like a biology genius by then) re-grew his heart and saved his life.

http://media.comicvine.com/uploads/0/3016/135193-18078-107615-18-new-x-men-vol-2_super.jpg

The Stepford Cuckoos helped restore every single memory he ever absorbed. Thus making him as smart as everyone at the institute and he had all of their combat training. Then he beat up Hellion, broke up with Surge, got some guns and kicked Nimrod ass.

During Messiah CompleX, he chose not to go along with the other New X-Men when they attacked the Purifiers and he was basically a nurse/repair-man for the whole crossover.

Then they sent him home... but somehow he ended up in San Francsisco again during the Secret Invasion tie-in.

Did you know? David had a crush on Dani Moonstar.

Catseye
Real Name: Unknown (pseudonym Sharon Smith, given to her by Emma Frost)
First Appearance: New Mutants v.1 # 16
Most Recent Appearance: Uncanny X-Men #281; latest flashback cameo in UXM #502
Powerset: Ailuranthropy (feline shapeshifter): superstrength, speed, agility, reflexes and senses; razor claws, fangs, prehensile tale and slight healing factor.
Status: Ex-Hellion missing in action since October 1991; presumed dead, (but I site: body never recovered & the nine lives deal).
Creator: Chris Claremont and Sal Buscema

http://i42.tinypic.com/3152987.jpg

The Story:
Catseye was born into the world and abandoned due to her feline looks. She was raised by alley cats in the streets of New England, until Emma Frost stumbled upon her and became a new form of surrogate mom to her. Frost taught her that she was a girl with the ability to change into cat-form, and not the other way around (as Catseye originally figured). Frost then drafted her into her burgeoning Hellions squad for the Hellfire Club, headquartered at the Massachusetts Academy prep school in Snow Valley, MA.

http://i43.tinypic.com/o0a4vs.jpg

Catseye was the innocent, fun-loving, free-spirit (and somewhat naive) member of the group. Though she lacked most of the social sophistication (and used a child-like way of speaking), she was the most friendly and likely the most intelligent of the group. She had total photographic recall of memory, instinctually knew when she was lied to, and went from illiteracy to high-school reading levels in less than a year. Occasionally, she was almost the most feral when it came to battles (e.g. when the Hellions fought the New Warriors). But she often sought companionship more than a fight, like when she befriended Wolfsbane as a kindred spirit when the New Mutants shared dorms with the Hellions. During this time, she almost accepted Rahne's invite to join the New Mutants, but felt she would be betraying her Hellion family and friends by doing so. She was also one of the few Hellions who tried to reach out and seek friendship with Firestar (during her brief Hellion tenure).

http://i44.tinypic.com/5klqty.jpg

Her time with the team (and the team itself) was tragically a brief. The team was dismantled during a Hellfire Club party when Trevor Fitzroy crashed the party with plans to kill Emma Frost on behalf of the Upstarts. Most of the team died that day. Tarot died twice, even…but she came back. What about Catseye…?

http://i43.tinypic.com/5z03d4.jpg

Did you know? Even in her human form Catseye often retained some of her feline-like features, such as the tail, slit pupils, and sometimes claws, due to surviving on her own during her formative years.

MIMIC
Real Name: Calvin Montgomery Rankin
First Appearance: X-Men v.1 # 19 (April 1966)
Most Recent Appearance: Civil War House of M # 04
Powerset: Permanetly retained the powers from the X-Men: the Optic Blasts of Cyclops, Ice-creating abilities of Iceman, the winged flight of Angel, Telekinesis of Marvel Girl, Strength and agility of the Beast , and a limited form of telepathy of Professor X. Able to replace powerset by mimicking any human, mutant, or superhuman powers.
Status: Unrevealed. Recently resurfaced among the many superhuman criminals captured by the Thunderbolts. (Thunderbolts # 103)
Creator: Stan Lee and Werner Roth

http://i54.photobucket.com/albums/g87/betaflight/XIAYBp05.jpg

Story: Calvin Rankin was born in Passaic, New Jersey. After an accidental mixup of chemicals from his father Ronald's experiments, he gained the ability to temporarily copy the skills, physical traits, knowledge, and superpowers of any person within close range (approximately ten feet). When his father found out about this, he retreated with Calvin into a mine where he worked on a machine which, as he claimed, would make the abilities his son absorbed permanent. But his experiments with the device caused several power outages in the vicinity; in order to hold off the mob which was tracking these disturbances, Ronald Rankin blasted the mine entrance, but he was accidentally caught and killed in the explosion, and his device sealed deep inside the mine.

Taking the name Mimic, Cal decided to seek out the X-Men in a plot to get to the machine and make their powers his permanently. Initially he gained the upper hand, but his powers were removed by Ronald Rankin's device, as Professor X had expected. Xavier then wiped his memory and let him go.

It was while attending the same college as Jean Grey that his memory returned. In another attempt to gain the X-Men's abilities, Mimic set his sights on joining their ranks, becoming deputy leader in the process when he blackmailed his way into joining the X-Men. As a member of the team, he soon began to antagonize the other X-Men with his arrogant behaviour and ended up expelled after a fight with Cyclops. He later realised his potential when he saved his team-mates from the Super-Adaptoid. This battle robbed him of his abilities, and he left powerless but a better person.

Eventually he regained his powers, but they were enhanced to also absorb people's life forces, killing them. As the Beast tried to work out a solution, Calvin seemingly perished in a self-sacrificial fight against the Hulk after absorbing the Hulk's gamma radiation. For a long time the X-Men believed him to be dead. In actuality, Mimic was in a coma which lasted for years. This ended only when the regenerative mutant Wolverine came near him. Mimic's power copied Wolverine's healing ability and he woke up.
Mimic's powers soon began to drain the life energy of those around him again.

http://i54.photobucket.com/albums/g87/betaflight/X-Force45p22.jpg
He fled to a remote Siberian village, where he soon encountered X-Force, who were investigating a distress call. X-Force arrived to find a number of dead scientists and an enraged Mimic, who illogically blamed X-Force for their deaths. During the fight, Mimic copied the power of Sunspot, and their identical charge caused a large explosion, after which Mimic was no where to be found
.
Mimic was later recruited by the entity Onslaught and his powers stabilized. Along with the Blob he confronted X-Force member Warpath, but with the assistance of Risque, Warpath was able to subdue them. Soon after, Onslaught himself was defeated and Operation: Zero Tolerance imprisoned Mimic.

Later, Excalibur tracked his telepathic signature and thinking that he was Professor Xavier, freed him. Mimic became friends with the entire group, and was even invited to Captain Britain's wedding.

http://i54.photobucket.com/albums/g87/betaflight/Excalibur124009.jpg

Mimic later joined Brotherhood of Mutants and assisted in freeing the real Xavier. That group eventually disbanded, and Mimic was not among later groupings.

http://i54.photobucket.com/albums/g87/betaflight/brth_hood.jpg

The Mimic resurfaced as a prisoner of Baron Zemo and Songbird in the Folding Castle's Detention Quadrant.

Did you Know?: Mimic did a favor for Val Cooper, because he thought she sounded pretty.

First appearance: New Mutants #93
Most recent appearance: X-Men: The 198 Files

Status: Still Powered *snap*
Creator: Rob Liefeld; Louise Simonson

Bio:
The radiation from Hiroshima infected Tamara's parents genes and caused Tamara to be born a mutant. Tamara joined Stryfe's Mutant Liberation Front, along with Sumo and Kamikaze when Stryfe visited Madripoor. She was a staple member of the evil foils for X-Force. She went on numerous missions with MLF and was involved with them when they released the Legacy Virus. She became good pals with Thumbelina, cuz she had a heart for the downtrodden. She also shtupped Wildside for a while, cuz she dug his dance moves and enjoyed what he was packing. *wink wink* She went to prison numerous times as the MLF was often busted and thrown in the Klink.

When Reignfire restarted the MLF, Tamara wasn't on the team at first, but eventually joined just in time to get taken down by a Prime Sentinel during Operation Zero Tolerance.

She retained her powers, but was not *GRR* featured in the X-Men 198 mini-series. She was featured in the 198 Files, and listed as considered to be a national security threat! *LOL!*

Dragoness is one of my favorites! There should be a petition to bring her back as well! X-Factor????!?!? X-Force? Uncanny? Somewhere!

She had no lines. And a mohawk. Its probably better that she wasn't.

We should demand Dragoness returns, but with a good hairstyle. Maybe even her original costume still. Perhaps an updated version?

I just really like the character, even though she has barely ever been used. They must be planning something with her if they kept her powered.

I am pretty sure in the 616 universe that she is a mutant. She's been confirmed as still powered and was a member of teh human hating terrorist team Mutant Liberation Front.

#36 Neurotap
Real Name: Michelle Balters
First appearance: X-Force Annual #2
Most recent appearance: Civil War Battle Damage Report
Powers: Neurotap has the ability via eye contact to scramble an opponents neurons and possibly fry their brains. Her powers have been shown to range from knocking a foe down to putting them into a coma!
Status: Probably in the Initiative! *HAY!*
Creator: Fabian Nicieza

http://media.comicvine.com/uploads/0/6754/174793-38885-neurotap_super.JPG

Bio:
Michelle Balters worked for Strong Industries, a corrupt Scientific research company, hunting down mutants for research studies. She worked for Henry Strong because he promised to help her find a cure for her X-Gene. She HATED her powers because of what they did to her parents. When her mutant powers manifested themselves, she put both parents into comas. Henry Strong had helped her pay for her parents medical bills as well, which were astronomical.

http://media.comicvine.com/uploads/0/6754/174794-181159-neurotap_super.JPG

When X-Force tangled with StrongHOLD, Strong Industries was taken down hard. She declined an invitation to join X-Force. After the take down, she continued to work for Henry in order to take care of her parents. She became romantically involved with Adam X: The X-Treme! She dug backwards baseball caps and spiky shoulder pads, what's a girl to do!? She ended up betraying Adam when Henry threatened her parents. And so ended one of Marvel's great love affairs.

http://www.comicbookdb.com/graphics/comic_graphics/5338_20080326121606_char.jpg

Eventually, Michelle felt like Henry was again going to far and called in Rictor and Shatterstar to help take down Strong Industries once and for all.

Did you know?: Michelle Balters was listed in Civil War Damage Report as a possible recruit for the Initiative! Maybe we'll get to see her on Nebraska's Corn Husker Team!?!

Shola Inkose Thats pretty cool that he was in university. Its fun to see mutants have some sort of academical pursuit. Aside from Sage most of them seem like bums.
Elena Ivanova That sucks that she was never heard from again. I think there could be lots of potential in her! LOL YOST NEEDS TO GET ON THIS.
Kleinstock Brothers I am offended that Eric " I suck" Kleinstock was not included!
Lifeforce I have not even read her bio yet but I can see already that her ASS is worth keeping. Her shoulder pads are a product of another era.. like longshot's hair or donald duck in a nazi outfit. She also has pointy boobs.
Locus This girl is ripping off lifeforce but with more clothes. she is doing it wrong. I will not mock her further as she is dead. I bet the next time she would have been latina if she would not have died.
Lois London I love Lois London in concept alone. Overshadowed, crappier powers, DARK HAIRED sister? lol. and she killed a cat for scratching her. psycho bitch. clearly she has issues.
Maggott I am bipolar about Maggott some days I hate him, some days I dont.
Mandrill LMAO I love Mandrill. he is awesome.. he's a fucking MONKEY what more can you say.
Mary Margaret Mary Margaret is a rare gem that is found inside an even rarer gem that is the Angel Revelations mini. I am so happy you included her. :)
Mondo Mondo is very unique visually and for that alone deserves to return. I loved him in Generation Next. <3.
Murmur I lol I think mouths and chest are pretty cool. I was not a huge fan but I didnt hate him either.
Murmur II quebecoise! I really enjoyed the Alpha Flight Vol 2 series. I recently read it in preparation for marvel league. She was fun in it. Hot Mama <3
Nanny robo-nanny. very "the jetsons"
The Nasty Boys I am not a fan but I will hold my venom as Josie would hurt me.
The Neophyte The Neophyte is easily one of my fave acolytes ever. He is just awesome and a good person. Moira should come back to life and form a team with him
Neurotap lol. these 90 powers were so rare and precise.
No Girl No girl is such a fun Morrison creation! I loved like 98% of the special class.
Oracle I love the Imperial Guard a lot. I wish they were more fleshed out and in more comics. Oracle isnt my fave but I do like her.
Paradigm LMAO I love the "did you know?" He looks so cool. :)
Perro I am disappointed that you did not include that all the children are PERUVIAN like me.

Wildside
Real Name: Richard Gill
First appearance: The New Mutants #86
Most recent appearance: New Avengers #18
Powers: Wildside has the ability to scramble the sensory perceptions of those around him causing pain. He also has claws, agility, and a feral nature. And super-awesome hair!
Status: Depowered and possibly brain dead
Creator: Louise Simonson and Rob Liefeld

http://media.comicvine.com/uploads/0/77/138709-184666-wildside_super.jpg

Bio
Richard Gill was a founding member of the group known as the Mutant Liberation Front. Under Stryfe’s leadership, the MLF was a force to be reckoned with. They broke Rusty and Skids out of prison and promptly brainwashed them. They tangled with X-Force and Cable as well as Garrison Kane, X-Factor, and Mister Sinister and generally weren’t always beaten! Shock for a mutant team of baddies! Wildside was a mainstay on this squad and served with them fanatically until getting nabbed at the end of X-Cutioner’s song and taken to the pokey.

http://media.comicvine.com/uploads/0/77/138711-187408-wildside_super.jpg

Reignfire breaks him out and once again Richard Gill was a mainstay of the MLF. He was there when Feral defected from X-Force and was part of the core team after Reignfire disappeared and Moonstar took over teaching them team work. There was always an underlying tension between Richard and Danielle Moonstar. Maybe because of some leadership control issues or maybe he wanted a slice of what Forearm was dipping into, but eventually it was sorted out, off-panel, that Wildside would be the new leader of the MLF after Reignfire went crazy and got taken down. Wildside also started totally banging Dragoness around this time. There was definitely a rift forming in the MLF with meaner natured Dragoness and Wildside on one side and Forearm and Moonstar on the other. Eventually Wildside led the squad into a trap laid by Prime Sentinels and the MLF got stuck between the Sentinels and X-Force. Wildside’s feral nature got the best of him and he pimp-slapped Locus when she was questioning his decisions. She promptly teleported out, leaving MLF in a pickle. When Wildside started to kill hostages, Moonstar took him down with a psionic arrow to the head. She then revealed that she was a SHIELD double agent and broke Forearm’s heart. The MLF went down hard with only Moonstar and Forearm escaping. The MLF never reformed.

http://media.comicvine.com/uploads/0/229/79492-64956-wildside_super.jpg

Wildside shows up next as a kidnap victim of new more aggressive Weapon X at the Neverland Camp. He, along with former MLF’er Reaper are offered a job with Weapon X or death. They choose the job and it’s to take down Cable’s Underground. Cable, and his squad, takes both of them down with ease and mindprobes them for info on Weapon X. Weapon X had built in psychic firewalls into them and the mindprobe fries their brains. He was then shown to have lost his mutant powers by the M-Day event. Reaper was shown to be coherent and brain functioning in a later issue of X-Factor so it could be assumed that Wildside got his brains back (what precious little there were to begin with!) too!

http://media.comicvine.com/uploads/0/77/138710-153589-wildside_super.jpg

Did you know?: Wildside had some totally awesome hair styles. His former girl-toy Dragoness still has her powers, I wonder if she’s still into him if he doesn’t have his.

Zero
Real Name: ADAM (Unit 0)
First appearance: The New Mutants #86
Most recent appearance: X-Force #5 (mini-series by Liefeld)
Powers: Zero is an android with the ability to create teleportation warps. He can only teleport to somewhere he has already been. He’s also uber-sexy.
Status: Destroyed but possibly cloned (!)
Creator: Louise Simonson and Rob Liefeld

http://www.comicbookdb.com/graphics/comic_graphics/8264_20070131020310_char.jpg

Bio
Zero was created by the Askani 2000 years in the future. He was a proto-type for the Ambient-energy Dampening Automated peacekeeping Mechanisms (ADAMs). Along the way he got damaged to the point of almost being destroyed. Stryfe, Cable’s clone, found him and repaired him and made him his trusted and loyal servant/taxi cab. Stryfe purposefully didn’t repair Zero’s speech capabilities. He prefers his men strong and silent. I love that about Stryfe. When Stryfe fled to the present, he took socks, underwear, sharp pointy metal hat, and his PDA Zero. Zero aided Stryfe in gathering and creating the fantastical terror organization known as the Mutant Liberation Front (MLF). He was integral in creating an edge to the team in that they could teleport in and out of someplace with precision. When the MLF and Stryfe in particular got squished between a Moon rock and a hard place during the X-Cutioner’s song, Zero got damaged and deactivated.

http://media.comicvine.com/uploads/1/10069/460582-zero_00_super.jpg

Zero next showed up as a possession of “Tolliver” the mutant arms dealer who ended up being Tyler Dayspring Summers, Cable’s step kid. Zero ended up being reactivated when Deadpool, Garrison Kane, Copy Cat, and Slayback broke in looking for him. Zero reverted to his “Peace Keeper” mode and killed Slayback and almost killed Deadpool, before Deadpool was able to convince Zero that there was some good in him. Zero, re-learned to talk and stayed with Tyler “Genesis” Dayspring for a while helping him to uncover the truth about Stryfe and Cable, but eventually Zero left to find his own purpose. Zero hung out with Douglock and tried to teach him the birds and the bees. He helped Douglock separate himself from his Phalanx brethren and would have likely mated with Douglock if it hadn’t been for some killer androids sent by Styfe to destroy him. Working with the Mutant team Excalibur, Douglock and Zero, tried to destroy the androids and a secret base of Stryfe’s under the pentagon, while rescuing some hostages. Stryfe had programmed Zero to feel as though he’d attained sentience, but it was all a trick. He’d also programmed a self-destruct sequence in all of the androids, including Zero. Shadowcat removed his bomb, but wouldn’t be able to stop all the others in time. Zero sacrificed himself to allow Excalibur, his homeboy Douglock, and the innocents to get to freedom. In his last moments, Zero attained sentience and received a hologram message from Stryfe stating “Congratulations. You're human. For the next eight seconds.” Nothing like the fury of a woman scorned. And Stryfe was one hell of a “Woman”. Zero’s clones have been since seen and I am not sure how he appeared in Liefeld’s X-Force mini-series. Maybe he’s back!?!??

http://media.comicvine.com/uploads/0/77/227006-173269-zero_super.jpg

Did you Know?: Zero is one of the only ADAM units to have ever been seen. Besides Zero, only Unit 11, has appeared. Unit 11 worked with the Askani to fight the Neo-Canaanites. Or something. As far as I know, Zero is the first faceless gay mute android from the future to ever appear in comics.

Dragoness

Did You Know?: In AOA, Dragoness was a human member of the Reavers named Vultura. She was killed by Weapon X in that reality and Carol Danvers took her techno-organic wings in a very Rogue-esque move.

This is great information right here. I've been re-reading my complete AoA tpbs and I just read that Weapon X story.

Wasn't Zero destroyed way back when?

yes. He was. But it's a time travel issue. if this is Stryfe from the future we're dealing with and not the dead version from the present who was I believe last seen in Hell, then there is likely a future version of Zero there with him as well.

I love time travel.
