Excuse me...MAH GURL! <3

I know! I love her short hair on her! Well...I loved it long, but I like her getting something distinctive since short blonde hair is less common amongst the muties.

And my password was once Sarah_Ryall_is_so_LOL. No lie.

BUT I CHANGED IT SO DON'T TRY.

Mine was once LOISLONDONKILLSHOBOS. So I feel you on that score. LOL!

#24 Lifeforce
Real Name: Unknown
First appearance: Cable #17
Most recent appearance: Wolverine #100
Powers: Lifeforce could drain the life energy out of her foes by contact and then redirect that energy in the form of destructive concussive energy blasts.
Status: D is for Deceased
Creator: Jeph Loeb and Steve Skroce

Goggles/Sunglasses? Check. Shoulderpads with no function? Check. Hairstyle from a heavy metal video? Check. Yeah, she was a creature of the Marvel nineties, all right. Think of her as Selene Lite, based off of the powerset of life energy draining, but Lifeforce didn't have as much ability to wield it. I liked that she was practically the only girl in the Dark Riders, and her involvement in the buildup to Wolverine #100 is nice. Mind you, she deserved better than going out on adamantium shrapnel. Then again, having Wolverine decapitate a woman, at the time, would've been borderline comic book code offense, so I think that's how they picked her death.

#25 Locus
Real Name: Unknown
First appearance: X-Force #27
Last appearance: Weapon X #1
Powers: Locus has the ability to teleport herself or another person/object to anywhere she or what she’s transporting has been to in the past. She can also levitate.
Status: Deceased..
Creator: Fabian Nicieza

http://media.comicvine.com/uploads/0/229/85783-198315-locus_super.jpg

Did You Know?: Locus was constantly switching between being black and white. Who knows her true race? NOBODY.

This is where I must say "BOOOOO!!!" Frank Tieri, to his credit, wrote a GREAT Peepers in Wolverine (vol. 3), and parts of Weapon X (vol. 2). I will always give him credit, there. But, outside of that, he frustrated the ever-lovin' **** out of me for killing awesome D-Listers for no real reason.

Sabretooth murdering Locus, the race-switchin' wonder, being one of those things. Couldn't they just have killed off another mutant teleporter, or create a new one to be killed? Taking out Locus was pointless, and I suspect editorial might have done it to just avoid explaining how Locus had alternating skin-tones. Killing her off might make people forget how bad they effed up.

Oh, wait, we haven't forgotten. And we still lost a great character. Jerks.

#26 Lois London
Real Name: Lois London (Formerly Lois Brown)
First appearance: Dazzler #20 (photo); Dazzler #22 (in person)
Most recent appearance: Dazzler #30
Powers: Lois radiates an unknown energy from her hands. When in contact with organic matter, it causes the victim's heart to stop resulting in near immediate death. In contact with inorganic matter, Lois alters the molecular state of the object, destroying it. This energy, while visible to the human eye, does not appear in photographs or recordings.
Status: Unknown
Creator: Danny Fingeroth and Frank Springer

Why nobody ever writes Lois London is beyond me. Her name was even "London", but they refused to have her guest star in New Excalibur, or X-Men: DBTS.

Unless she's actually Rouge Mort.

Anyway, with her past as a hobo & cat killer, you'd think she'd be a great character to get some focus in a book like NYX, or the like. Even having her in a tent as one of the 198 would've been good.

Bring her to San Francisco, Marvel, to live amongst the X-Men, and be the head of Dazzler's fan club, which should be positively swarming with loyal followers in S.F. Just make her Alison Blaire's web-master by day, and vigilante animal control by night, and she's got a great niche.

I loved Seagle's Alpha Flight run!

I wrote some fan-fiction that would bring Department-H under the run of the Original AF, and clear up how the Department-H would work for benefit of the people. Also, those lose plot points.

Fixx needs to make a comeback. Fight with Bishop making him less crazy or Teaming up with Ruby.

I thought Fixx's forehead device worked similar to Gunbuster 2.
Where it can be remove and use Fixx's powers to bend objects into giant machine of awesome.

Gypsy Moth should bring some charms into that Spider-Woman series coming soon.

Finally I thought the Mimic was a C-Lister than a D-Lister.

#27 Maggott
Real Name: Japheth
First appearance: Uncanny X-men #345
Most recent appearance: Weapon X #5
Powers: Japheth had two hungry slugs instead of a normal digestive system. These slugs could eat almost anything. Maggott has a low level psionic connection to the slugs (Eany and Meany). He also has the ability to see events from their perspective as well as a low level psychometric capability.
Status: D is for Deceased. Well except for one of the slugs!
Creator: Scott Lobdell and Joe Madieura

http://media.comicvine.com/uploads/0/170/76648-46467-maggott_super.jpg

Bio:
Japheth grew up in South Africa with a “sickness” that didn’t allow him to digest solid food. At 12 years old, thinking he had stomach cancer, he realized that he was a burden on his family financially, so he drove out to the desert to die. In the desert, he ran into Our Lord Magneto, who activated his mutant powers (who knew that Magnus was Sage-Lite?!). Japheth’s digestive tract turned into Eany and Meany and his skin promptly turned blue. Magneto returned him to his village, but it was under attack by white supremacists. Japheth realized that his brother was already dead and his father in trouble, so he asked Magneto to help. Magneto promptly killed the villains, which disgusted young Japheth. He refused Magneto’s offer to follow him.

http://media.comicvine.com/uploads/1/18265/375500-34839-maggott_super.jpg

Years later, we catch up with Maggott who is tracking who he thinks is Magneto. It’s actually Joseph. Psylocke senses him skulking about and her and Archangel whoop his butt. Somehow all three get transported to Antartica for the The Trial of Gambit! Maggott stayed with the team and saw them through the fight of their lives against Bastion and his Sentinel program. But eventually, he felt like he didn’t fit in with the X-men and wanted an education. He almost joined the Generation X crew and even helped them fight off a villain named Slaughter, but when asked to join, he decided he’d hunt Slaughter down to keep other mutants safe.

http://media.comicvine.com/uploads/0/77/153390-32560-maggott_super.jpg

Maggott’s next seen as a kidnapped victim of the newly resurrected Weapon X program. This new shiny version of the program was hunting down muties and placing them into concentration camps. While there, Japheth befriended two mutant kids named Wendy and Billy. He gave both of his slugs away as they all were being led to the gas chambers. One of the kiddo’s and one of the slugs went one way and survived. The other and sadly Japheth, were both exterminated.

http://media.comicvine.com/uploads/0/5586/491417-ma8_super.jpg

Did you Know?: One of Maggott’s slugs was later seen in a lab owned by Mr. Sinister! I am sure it was Eany. He was the cooler of the two!

Again, to Frank Tieri, I must say sir, you right a better Peepers than perhaps anyone in comics. However, this doesn't excuse you from your nasty habit of killing off D-Listers like you were eating popcorn. Sure, Maggott may have not been the new groovy X-Man Lobdell and Madeiura were hoping for when they created him, but was he really so worthless to ship him into a gas chamber to die?

And would someone please get back to the plotline where Mr. Sinister had Eany or Meany in a jar in his lab? We could've totally had a Maggott or two running around with the Marauders in the last issue of X-Force, and it would've been completely plausible.

The Generation X/Slaughter plotline went nowhere as well. Disappointing, on that front.

#28 Mandrill
Real Name: Jerome Beechman
First appearance: Shanna the She-Devil
Most recent appearance: New Avengers #46
Powers: Mandrill has the natural ability to chemically ensnare women to his will via phermones. Once they are under his spell, he can make them his slaves. His physical appearance is also a mutation. He looks like a monkey. He also has superhuman strength, speed, agility, dexterity, flexibility, reflexes, coordination, balance, and endurance comparable to that of a great ape. He is a skilled acrobatic hand-to-hand combatant. His powers do not work on males.
Status: Working for the Hood
Creator: Ross Andru, Steve Gerber, and Carole Seuling

http://media.comicvine.com/uploads/0/77/87277-147241-mandrill_large.jpg

Bio:
Jerome was shunned from his small town in the Southwest U.S. due to his hairy and freakish appearance. His father drove him out into the desert and abandoned him. Rather than giving up and dying, he swore revenge on those that had harmed him. Wandering the desert, he met up with another mutant from his hometown, the albino female named Nekra. The two became pals and watched out for each other, but when they were attacked by a lynch mob who thought they were monsters, the two were cornered and their powers manifested and some of the bullies died. They were out in the desert for six years.

Beecham next decided to become a professional criminal and traveled to Africa along with Nekra to try their hand at creating a political overthrow of 3 small African nations. They created a cult of women who had been rejected for different reasons and their plans would have worked if not for Shanna the freaking She-Devil. The two were taken into SHIELD custody, but quickly escaped and killed Shanna’s dad. They next formed the group called Black Spectre, a group of mind controlled African American women, whom they wanted to overthrow the U.S. Government. This group was taken down by Shanna, Daredevil, Thing, and Black Widow. Their plans went awry and Nekra got pinched, but Mandrill managed to get away.

http://media.comicvine.com/uploads/0/77/143199-187013-mandrill_super.jpg

Mandrill was next seen creating a group called Fem-Force. He also created a group called Mutant-Force. He tangled with the Defenders and always got beaten. He also battled the Black Panther and again got beaten. He next decided to attack his family, but again those damn Defenders put a stop to him. He also found out that he couldn’t control his mother. The Defenders caught him and were turning him over to authorities, when his mom decided that wasn’t enough of a punishment and she shot him. Mother of the Year!

He recovered and had many more battles with some notable heavy hitters (The Punisher, The Grim Reaper who it was thought had killed him, Kraven, and Spider-Man and Alpha Flight, among others!) He did time in the Vault, The Big House, and The Raft. He was part of the huge breakout at the Raft and joined the Controller’s mind controlling group in the fantastic mini-series Spider-Man: Breakout. He’s now working for the Hood and kicking Super-Hero butt. He’s not monkeying around! LOLZ!

http://media.comicvine.com/uploads/0/229/133943-86479-mandrill_super.jpg

Did you Know?: Mandrill is kind of a mysoginist jerk! He frequently takes advantage of his enthralled female victims and is said to have had his “Way” with Black Widow. Also, he’s a great strategist and has above average intellect.

AAAAAAH awesome art!!!! I can't wait for Thumbelina! lol

Maggott - there were so many things innately wrong with this character--the weird visual, the weird powers, HELL THE NAME MAGGOTT ITSELF.

But Joe Kelly really made this guy quite charming. I think Marrow, Maggott, and Dr. Reyes were characters that seemed terrible at the surface, but I think the writers at the time made them worthwhile apart from their "gross" visuals, strange mutant abilities, or simple defensive powers. Unfortunately, their surface value couldn't convince enough readers to give them a chance.

Also, while I do think Weapon X was garbage, its much worse that the epic killing spree was so irrelevant it was only touched upon indirectly in the most satellite of stories.

Jed, how could you forget to mention that the Mandrill once used all his powers on a group of woman to "wingman" for all of Mutant Force! He helped get Peepers, Slither, Burner, and Lifter laid!

Sure, it means he might be an accessory to date rape, but whatever.

What's worse, demeaning yourself for Purple Man, or the Mandrill? Now there's the question of the day...

definately Mandrill. he's racism incarnate. two white people have a child that looks like a monkey. and they name him jerome; one of the most stereotypical black names after Tyrone. and his power is to seduce women while being bestial in appearance. this is like a white supremacist's worst nightmare made real. and if you think i'm exaggerating, he was purposely contrasted with Nekra who is the albino daughter of two black people. to be any more offensive, Mandrill would have to sweat malt liquor, have several illegitimate children, and smoke rock.

His powers do not work on males.

having said that - he seems quite powerful. Apart from the dubious stereotypical aspects of him, he would make a good villain.

#29 Mary Margaret
Real Name: Mary Margaret
First appearance: Angel: Revelations #1
Most recent appearance: Angel: Revelations #5
Powers: Mary Margaret is a precognitive telepath.
Status: Stayin’ Alive!
Creator: Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa and Adam Pollina (*Heavenly*)

http://alyxchance.com/marymargaret.jpg

Bio:
Mary Margaret is first seen in the flashback origin style mini series known as Angel: Revelations. Plug Time: I am no Angel fan. Seriously people. But this book had art by perhaps my favorite comicbook artist of all time. So I picked it up and it was chock full of goodness. Please run out and do so yourselves!

Mary Margaret is having visions, strange visions of the future perhaps! Her mom calls on the church and they send a priest over to investigate. She’s such a cute/creepy little girl! She’s got hand wounds that are similar to stigmata and tells the intimidating stranger/priest of the dreams she’s been having about snowmen and men with fire eyes and an Angel. ZOMG! The 05 members of the X-men! And this was pre-first class! She then states that she knows the man’s name is Worthy. Mr. Worthy explains that he’s going to help her and then gets uber creepy! He shoots poor Mary Margaret in the foot and then kills her mom! He explains that she’s going to help him hunt down filthy genetic abberants. Great Scott! Another Religious nutbag!

Throughout the mini-series the Hunter known as Worthy, drags poor limping Mary Margaret across the country stopping at places where she’s dreamed about and shooting/killing the budding mutants. Finally, Mary Margaret states she will take him to the Angel. Who for religious reasons, I am guessing, is the most abhorrent to the Hunter. Hunter attacks Warren Worthington’s boarding school as the newly mutated boy is having some personal drama. The Hunter kills one of Warren’s teachers and sets his dorm building ablaze. A battle ensues and Warren and friends best Mr. Worthy and save good old gimpy creepy/cute Mary Margaret! Now if only she had both feet she could go out clubbing in some cute strappy shoes!

Did you know?: Mary hasn’t shown up in the present yet, but it’s gonna happen. This is the season for folks to believe! So BELIEVE PEOPLE! BELIEVE!

Also Shockingly, none of the comic websites I trawl for information and pictures has anything on Mary Margaret. So if you have scans of pictures of her, please post! Or even better, email Marvel Editorial staff and tell them to Bring Back Mary Margaret!

Young Mr. Cakes sent me a list of his favorite D-Listers, so I'll be drawing them as well.

I love that Prism is exposing his cheeks sultrily. This is a natural evolution of his character from Choi's homoerotic subtext.

I am loving your drawings, and can only hope that when you draw No-Girl, you make her just as sexy.

The mystery of Mary Margaret is similar for me to that of the empath, AMP, from Wolverine: First Class.

All these awesome "retconned in after 2005" mutants that vanished... where the hell did they all go, anyway?

They should have a "Mutants Shopping For Prosthetics One-Shot" comic. It's Cable, Reaper, Bishop, Sunder, and Forge all skipping along down a sidewalk like in the Wizard of Oz, but instead of Dorothy, they have Mary Margaret, who they're taking to get her own awesome faux foot.

And Wolverine asks if he can tag along, and Mary Margaret punches him in the gonads.

It'd be the highest selling one-off ever.

Real Name: Unknown
First appearance: Generation X # 3
Most recent appearance: Generation X #61
Powers: Mondo is able to absorb organic or inorganic material into his cellular structure to take on the properties of whatever he touches until it is "digested" from his system. Status: Heart Breakingly Absent
Creator: Scott Lobdell and Chris Bachalo(*Heavenly*)

http://media.comicvine.com/uploads/0/3848/119847-106086-mondo_super.jpg

Bio:
Mondo first appeared as a companion to Cordelia Frost while hanging out on the Island of Samoa. He and Cordelia were “Friends” (With Benefits?!?! Totally, don’t question me!) until her ambition got the best of her and she knocked him out and kidnapped him. She then turned him over to the Hell Fire Club in order to bribe herself into the position of White Queen. Shinobi Shaw was like “Gurl, Don’t even come over here talking about that.” Mondo wasn’t returned to her and so Cordy had no choice but to ask her older sister, Emma Frost, for help in freeing him. Emma was the Co-Head Master of the Massachusetts Academy at the time, the school where the young mutant team, Generation X, was based. The Generation X’ers freed Mondo from the HFC and he stayed with them for a time.

http://media.comicvine.com/uploads/1/10069/407916-170019-mondo_super.JPG

It soon turned out that the Mondo that the gang had saved wasn’t actually Mondo at all, but a plant based clone that Black Tom Cassidy had placed in his stead. Black Tom himself had infiltrated the Hell Fire Club and rescued poor Mondo from their clutches and swapped him with a clone so that the HFC wouldn’t know. He raised Mondo as a son and warped his mind to the supposed evils of Banshee. See, Black Tom had previously raised his cousin’s (Banshee) daughter Syrin. Once Syrin met Banshee, she reformed and went on the path of goodness. Black Tom had never forgiven Banshee for “Stealing” her away from him. So he was going to attempt to punish him by taking some of his kids away. The Mondo clone was under the total possession of Black Tom and he instructed him to hunt down the X’ers and dispose of them. Mondo Clone was about to kill Jubilee, when he himself was killed by the evil Man/Machine known as Bastion.

http://media.comicvine.com/uploads/1/10069/457922-mondo_02_super.jpg
Later, the real Mondo showed back up with Black Tom by his side, to challenge Generation X and get his revenge on Cordelia Frost. The kids tried to convince Mondo that he was on the wrong side of this conflict, but he just laughed and said “He’d never met them before.” Black Tom was the man who’d freed him from captivity and he was like a father figure to him. Black Tom was again defeated, but they managed to escape capture. Mondo has not been seen since. Black Tom HAS been seen since, but Mondo’s never been mentioned. I am sure it was just too cold for him in Cassidy Keep and he went back to the beaches of Samoa.

Did you know?: Mondo played a HUGE role in the fantastic mini-series Generation next which was the AOA version of Generation X. He also has to be careful when transporting folks through ground, because his body naturally “Digests” the material and if he’s not careful he can “Digest” his passengers. Mondo is one of the greatest missed opportunities that Marvel has ever missed. He’s also one of the very few mutants who doesn’t have the world’s most perfect body. He’s unique in look, appearance, powers, and ethnicity. He’s also Syrin’s sorta-kinda cousin.

Man, here's another character that's wasted potential. An Earth elemental character, who was also teased to have powers akin to someone like... Absorbing Man, say? Tons of power potential.

Giving him a laid back, hands off personality? Also good.

And then, for whatever reason, despite seeing all Mondo COULD be in Generation Next, in Generation X, he sat in the background, and was barely involved in the team's adventures for the first 24 issues. Then when he was... he was revealed to somehow be related mysteriously to either:

Black Tom Cassidy w/ viral wood growth AND/OR the living island, Krakoa.

And where did that story go after Generation X #27? Nowhere. Absolutely nowhere for almost three years, as the letters column kept asking, "Whatever happened to Mondo?" Finally, they decided to cash in by having a story where the whole time Generation X knew Mondo, it was a clone/simalcrum created by Black Tom. And thus, Mondo in Earth-616 was retconned to be a total jerk, and whatever had been seen previously was moot.

Oh yeah, after clearing up that gem, we never got to see Mondo again. He's part of Black Tom (wood growth) and Juggernaut's new budding posse, who they like, ditched after a night of boozin', apparently.

And yet, that amazing powerset is still unused for a hero.

Unless you count how similar to it Rockslide's has become, of course. (absorbs the qualities of volcanic rock in limbo? Hmmm....)

Real Name: Allan Rennie
First appearance: Generation X # 11
Most recent appearance: Generation X #14
Powers: Murmur was covered in bandages, had enhanced strength and durability, decided he liked to eat through his chest as well so he got a mouth there, and could create line of sight teleportals.
Status: D is for Depowered. Fuckin Bendis
Creator: Scott Lobdell and Tom Grummet

http://media.comicvine.com/uploads/0/3848/338574-11599-murmur_large.jpg

Bio:
Not much is known about Mr. Rennie, other than he's french and was recruited by Emplate into his group of Hellions early in his career. He, along with Bulwark, Vincente, Gayle Edgerton and DOA were all members of this team, and they sought about kicking Generation X's butt, and feasting off of their super-powered Marrow, but their plans were foiled by that snooping M and meddlesome Bishop.

Last we heard from him, he was on the list of depowered mutants in New Avengers #18.

http://media.comicvine.com/uploads/1/12463/267374-135227-murmur_super.jpg

Did you know?: Murmur’s powers appeared to be connected with his bandages as when he used them, they appeared to be animated. He also lost almost all memories of his former life when Emplate turned him into a Marrow eating Vampire. He and Vincente were really close friends before an incident at a Mall Food Court turned them from BFFs to Arch Enemies. Ok, not really.

So, wait a second...

Emplate was pretty much a Eurotrash mutant vampire, and he had a fellow Euro mummy?

And isn't Bulwark like a big Eastern European hoss? If he was horribly scarred, rather than a weird S&M daddy, he'd have been a good Frankenstein.

If they added someone like... FERAL! Into the mix, they would've been perfect! A group of movie monsters. And Vincente! Who was... urm... well, vampires can turn into mist, too. So there's that. But most of Emplate's crew were like horror characters of some sort. Murmur was just the most blatant with his bizarre wrappings.

Maybe he had turbo leprosy, or something. I dunno.

MONDO is awesome.

I despise what they did to him later on in Generation X. It made it harder to root for his return with a history like that. But everything about him was something no other X-Team had--a rare occurence when it comes to junior X-Men (which I'll even admit to characters I ADORE).

He should return in some capacity, even if as a laid back, supercool villain.

#33 Nanny
Real Name: Unknown or worse Un-named! or maybe it's just Nanny.
First appearance: Uncanny X-men #112
Most recent appearance: Uncanny X-men #350
Powers: Nanny is a terrestrial robot created by Magneto. She has lots of conventional Robot-Y weapons, but also has the ability to take away mutants powers.
Status: D is for destroyed
Creator: Chris Claremont and John Byrne

http://www.comicbookdb.com/graphics/comic_graphics/9094_20070921085915_char.jpg

Bio:
Nanny was a robot that was created by Magneto to help him get revenge on the X-men. He placed her in his Antartic base and had her take care of the X-men once he had defeated them. He placed the X-men into special experimental chairs that reduced their coordination, speech and motor function to that of 6 month olds. The X-men broke free and confronted Magneto. He went all Megalomaniac and destroyed the base and Nanny in it. The X-men escaped to fight another day, but Nanny was overwhelmed by Magma. Later on, the X-men were hunting for clues to Magneto’s whereabouts and returned to the trashed base. They found Nanny’s head but Wolvie carved up Nanny’s head in the rubble. HARSH!

http://i257.photobucket.com/albums/hh227/darknessatnoon/nanny1.jpg

Nanny is rebuilt by Magneto and programmed to not allow mutants to leave her Antarctic base. Somehow by twist of fate or other sinister design, the X-men end up on Antartica as well. She depowers all the X-men she finds and takes them captive, but Trish Mother Flipping Tilby manages to go about unnoticed and during the big climactic battle Trish takes Nanny out with a wrench or some tired BS. Nanny is again destroyed.

Nothing would be scarier than a robot that tries to breast-feed you with its steely nipples.

Nanny is crazy, and the fact that both Silver Age, and 90s Magneto have brought her in as a lackey when needed shows that his mental faculties are sometimes a bit "off". She's like 10X as awesome as that Ferris robot thing. And no, Ferris wasn't a robot Matthew Broderick ditching school, that might have given Nanny a run for her money.

Anyhow, here's to hoping we see Magneto, the High Evolutionary, and Nanny all working together to reverse the Decimation soon.

Real Name: Clement Wilson (Ruckus), George Blair (Gorgeous George), Kris Anderson (Slab), Patrick Mahony (Ramrod), Michael Suggs (Slab)
First appearance: X-Factor #75
Last appearance: X-Factor #105
Powers: Ruckus is a mutant with the ability to absorb sound and amplify it using a sonic scream; Gorgeous George is a mutant composed of a tar-like body which can be stretched and turned into liquid; Slab has superhuman strength and the mutant ability to boost his size; Ramrod can psionically control wood and plants; Hairbag is a ferocious mutant with superhuman senses and super senses.
Status: Inactive.
Creator: Peter David.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v231/ursula_boi/Comic%20Book%20Stuff/NastyBoys1.jpg

Bio:
Chosen by Mr. Sinister, the Nasty Boys worked as his strike force, working in missions that didn’t require the brutality of the Marauders. X-Factor first came across one Nasty Boy, Slab, but soon met the other four members. Mr. Sinister seemed annoyed by the reckless nature of the Nasty Boys, particularly their field leader Ruckus, who spent much of his time robbing convenient stores with his “associate”, Ramrod. The other members often drank beer, to the point where Gorgeous George would forget how long his arms are supposed to be.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v231/ursula_boi/Comic%20Book%20Stuff/NastyBoys2.jpg

After attempting to restrain the runaway Madrox, the Nasty Boys confronted X-Factor. Gorgeous George encased Strong Guy within his body, trying to choke the air from his body. He busted free, while Havok took care of Slab and Wolfsbane battled Hairbag. Ruckus took a firecracker and flung it at Polaris, amplifying the sound a thousand times in her ears. The Nasty Boys fled after being overwhelmed by X-Factor, but not without the imprisonment of Slab and Hairbag, and the deportation of Ramrod.

Slab and Hairbag did not stay in prison long, and were soon busted free by Slab’s sister, Thumbelina, and her teammates in the Mutant Liberation Front. Slab stayed with the MLF, aiding Thumbelina during the X-Cutioner’s Song. However, the pair were defeated by Iceman and presumably imprisoned. Slab later rejoined the Nasty Boys, alongside his former teammates.

The Nasty Boys’ final mission was to capture the ex-Marauder, Malice, who had possessed Havok. They quickly defeat Malice, but are interrupted by X-Factor. The team is able to get the upper hand against the Nasty Boys, despite Gorgeous George attempting to choke Strong Guy by entering his body. While they are distracted, Malice gains enough power to blast both teams apart, defeating them both. The newly-awakened Polaris then battles Malice, defeating her and allowing for Mr. Sinister to kill her. The Nasty Boys, alongside their leader, teleported away.

Ruckus was later seen in the employ of Mystique, who hired him to kill Senator Kelly. However, he was apprehended by the X-Men before he was able to carry out his duties. The rest of the Nasty Boys have yet to be seen again.

Part of me is disappointed that the Marauders weren't ever used on X-Men: TAS in the 90s. A team of murderers like that, with a member named "Scalphunter" isn't exactly kid-friendly.

But the other part of me realizes that meant that the door was opened to introduce kids everywhere to... DA NASTY BOYS! Hell yeah!

Ruckus, with a wardrobe that looks like he could be in the Hellfire Club, or a boytoy of the vampire Lestat, is my personal favorite. He's a fruity, evil version of Banshee! How cool is that? Gorgeous George and his fetish for erotic asphyxia is a close second. Slab makes for a good generic strong man, and Hairbag a generic feral member. Ramrod, though... the power to warp wood? Seriously? That's all you have? How did Mr. Sinister not upgrade you from a power like that? You're, in effect, a friggin' mutant belt sander, dude.

Nasty Boys and Sinister were the first X-Villains I ever saw. I remember them from the 90's show, when they captured Scott and Jean. I was like "OMG HOW CAN HE BE PURPLE!!!!!!".

#34 NASTY BOYS

Anyway, yes. I love the nasty boys.
Ruckus and gorgeous George are two of my favourite characters ever.
I am so over the marauders.

#32 Murmur II
Real Name: Arlette Truffaut
First appearance: Alpha Flight Vol. 2 #1
Most recent appearance: Alpha Flight Vol. 2 #20
Powers: Murmur had touch based mind control and the ability to teleport folks-ish
Status: Probably Quebec!
Creator: Steven Seagle and Scott Clark

http://media.comicvine.com/uploads/0/77/147719-66583-murmur_large.jpg

Bio: Arlette Truffaut, or hot mama, as we in the know like to call her, was another Legacy character in the Beta Flight training program who got booted up to Alpha status quick, fast, and in too big of a hurry. She had a 'fondness' for Jarod of Alpha, who was a pompous douche at first, because nothin' could touch him.

In her first few missions, she was pretty much there to baby-sit the ravenous Sasquatch, who her teammates and she were made to believe was former Alphan Walter Langkowski, but alas, was an actual Sasquatch. She soon starts showing what a trampy skeez she is, by flirting with the much younger Guardian. Which kinda pisses Vindicator off, since she was, like married to the guy and all.

http://media.comicvine.com/uploads/0/5599/181134-172254-murmur_super.jpg

She gets a real mission, soon, and they all end up going after Wolverine, after being brain-washed by the insidious Dept. H. Things don't go so smoothly when they go up against the rest of the X-Men and realize that Wolvie doesn't have adamantium anymore, and that they were bamboozled yet again by Dept. H. LOL. Bamboozled. Anywhoo....They are shunted off to the Microverse running from their 'masters' in the dept, with the rest of the micronauts, and when they arrive back they come home to an attack on Dept. H by the forces of the ZODIAC!!! And not the lame one from the now-defunct Boo Warriors. She ends up getting shot by the villains, mwahahaha, and starts getting wiley. Trying to get 'touched by an angel', and when I say angel, I mean anyone with a pulse. Afterwards, she ends up getting shipped off to Beta Flight with the rest of the rookies, and gets depowered by M-Day. Thanks a lot Bendis!

She was awesome, and an epic flirt. She could have given Aurora w/out Jean Marie a run for her money in that department. I mean, look at her in the above image. She's got Wolverine coming on to her in the middle of a fight? Epic skills with her feminine wiles.

Heck, she tamed a wild Sasquatch, to boot. What couldn't Murmur do? Other than boink Radius, I mean.

#35 The Neophyte
Real Name: Simon Hall
First appearance: Uncanny X-Men #300
Most recent appearance: Uncanny X-Men #492
Powers: The Neophyte can phasemorph which allows him to travel by phasing into and merging with solid matter, then passing his way through it in seconds. Basically it's a hot version of Teleportation
Status: In NYC!
Creator: Scott Lobdell and John Romita Jr.

http://media.comicvine.com/uploads/0/77/237469-154274-neophyte_super.jpg

Bio:

Simon was recruited into the Acolytes by the cad Fabian Cortez. His first assignment was to bring food to the captive Moira MacTaggert. She lit into him about being a mutant terrorist and OCH! did he have some doubts after everyone's favorite Geneticist/Housekeeper gave him a piece of her mind. Was he a mutant terrorist or just a sweet kid with the power to phasemorph/teleport? Well, he went to the source to find out. He eavesdropped on ole Fabes and found out that the Mutant leader of the Acolytes wasn't committed to anyone other than his own ambition. He was spotted by Fabes and the megalomaniac attacked him for fear that he would tell the rest of the Acolytes of his nefarious plans. Cortez used his powers to amp up his teleportation and he blew a hole in their hideout. Neophyte had to go on the run after that and he ran right to the X-men. He lead them to the Acolytes and helped ensure that Moira was rescued. After that he disappeared.

http://media.comicvine.com/uploads/0/4942/126925-17363-neophyte_super.JPG

Later he's kidnapped by the Acolytes and put on trial for his crimes against them. They want to put him to death for his betrayal, but Colossus steps in and convinces them to consider the facts. Exodus, the new interim leader of the Acolytes, agrees with logic and The Neophyte is banished from Avalon and from service in the Acolytes.

http://media.comicvine.com/uploads/0/5392/262170-15993-neophyte_super.jpg

Neophyte was next seen living in an abandoned tennement in New York City. The X-men rough him up for information about the whereabouts of The Acolytes, but my boy was just making ends meet and living on the streets. He was no longer a member and didn't deserve to be leaned on by the "Good Guys."

Did you know?: The Neophyte's name was never revealed in comics, we discovered his name in The Official Handbook to the Marvel Universe. There was also a rumor that Neo's future was going to be with Generation X! How cool would that have been!

#36 Neurotap
Real Name: Michelle Balters
First appearance: X-Force Annual #2
Most recent appearance: Civil War Battle Damage Report
Powers: Neurotap has the ability via eye contact to scramble an opponents neurons and possibly fry their brains. Her powers have been shown to range from knocking a foe down to putting them into a coma!
Status: Probably in the Initiative! *HAY!*
Creator: Fabian Nicieza

http://media.comicvine.com/uploads/0/6754/174793-38885-neurotap_super.JPG

Bio:
Michelle Balters worked for Strong Industries, a corrupt Scientific research company, hunting down mutants for research studies. She worked for Henry Strong because he promised to help her find a cure for her X-Gene. She HATED her powers because of what they did to her parents. When her mutant powers manifested themselves, she put both parents into comas. Henry Strong had helped her pay for her parents medical bills as well, which were astronomical.

http://media.comicvine.com/uploads/0/6754/174794-181159-neurotap_super.JPG

When X-Force tangled with StrongHOLD, Strong Industries was taken down hard. She declined an invitation to join X-Force. After the take down, she continued to work for Henry in order to take care of her parents. She became romantically involved with Adam X: The X-Treme! She dug backwards baseball caps and spiky shoulder pads, what's a girl to do!? She ended up betraying Adam when Henry threatened her parents. And so ended one of Marvel's great love affairs.

http://www.comicbookdb.com/graphics/comic_graphics/5338_20080326121606_char.jpg

Eventually, Michelle felt like Henry was again going to far and called in Rictor and Shatterstar to help take down Strong Industries once and for all.

Did you know?: Michelle Balters was listed in Civil War Damage Report as a possible recruit for the Initiative! Maybe we'll get to see her on Nebraska's Corn Husker Team!?!

#2 Bling!
Real Name: Roxanne “Roxy” Washington
First appearance: X-Men #171
Last appearance: Arguably Weapon X #5
Powers: Bling! has diamond skin which grants her increased durability. She also has the ability to expel diamond shards at a high velocity. She also is a great dancer!
Status: Highly Fashionable.
Creator: Peter Milligan

http://media.comicvine.com/uploads/0/77/80261-57274-bling_super.jpg

Bio:
Roxy is the daughter of highly prominent hip hop artists Roy "Daddy Libido" Washington and Angel "Sexy Mutha" Depres. Being part of hip hop royalty, Roxy was in rap videos at a young age, imagine her as a young Beyonce in waiting. Instead, she turned the tables on destiny and signed up with Xavier’s school for the Gifted and Talented. She was a member of Gambit’s squad alongside Onyxx, Rainboy, and Flubber. She excelled both in training and in her studies and all was well for the Hip Hop Princess, until a new student showed up and turned her world upside down. She was intrigued by this new attractive femme fatale named Foxx. She found herself in lust with this new squad member and disturbed by the brewing relationship between her mentor, Gambit, and her secret crush. Roxy was never able to put the moves on Foxx, as she turned out to be Mystique in disguise. It’s unknown if Roxy is a lesbian or if she is simply, following in the path of all the great X-Women, a bisexual.

http://media.comicvine.com/uploads/0/77/132740-36649-bling_super.jpg

After M-Day, which saw most of her squad depowered, Bling! retained her mutation. She pitched in to help out the X-men against the sentinels and against Apocalypse. Using her powers and her fantastic persona to aid the school she loved, she was successful as a mutant under the X-Umbrella, but did mention to her pal Surge, that she was not comfortable going on missions. She suffered from anxiety and even considered leaving the X-school along with her teammate Onyxx. It’s not known how much of an impact Gambit’s betrayal of the squad had to do with her doubts.

http://media.comicvine.com/uploads/1/11768/349660-46195-bling_super.JPG

She’s not been seen since the X-Men moved to San Francisco, but I am sure it’s only a matter of time before the X-men’s R&B princess makes her debut in the Queer Capitol.

Did you know?: Roxy being the daughter of two mega-stars was constantly threatened with kidnappings and assassination attempts growing up. No wonder she left the Emminem and 50 cent’s behind for Wolverines and Cyclops.

Real Name: Lilli Stevens
First appearance: Alpha Flight Vol. 2 #2
Most recent appearance: Alpha Flight Vol. 2 #20
Powers: She can become intangible like Shadowcat
Status: Unknown...YAY?!?!!!!
Creator: Steve Seagle, and Scott Clark

http://media.comicvine.com/uploads/0/6754/171432-105740-lilli_super.JPG

Bio: Lilli spent much of her time cow tipping on her grand-father's cattle ranch, until he died. Then she got shipped off to the state orphange, called Hull House. Spoooky. While in the orphanage, she tried playing frisbee, but it just went through her, which caught the eye of over-weight and nosey Mrs. De La Salle. She contacted Dept. H about a legacy child was ripe for the picking.

Being tricked into being adopted, the orphanage threw her a going-away party, but it soon turned into smoke. They were gov't. agents who were there to recruit her to Dept. H.

http://media.comicvine.com/uploads/0/6754/171434-105622-lilli_super.JPG

Lilli, upset and scared, escaped her cell within the Beta Flight wing at Department H and found Diamond Lil in the reception area before begging her for help because she no wanted to go home. Two red Epsilons found her and quickly escorted her back to her room and Diamond Lil thought that the girl looked kinda familiar.

She bumps into Puck, and talks to him a bit. A little while later, she's caught throwing a fit, and ends up having her memories wiped by Director Clarke to keep her more complacent.

http://media.comicvine.com/uploads/0/6754/171433-102565-lilli_super.JPG

She got to hang out with other awesome recruits, Ouija, and Flinch, but she's the only one who gets bumped up to Alpha trainee status after Director Clarke bites it fighting the Zodiac.

While moving her stuff to the Alpha wing, she meets Murmur and bumps into Flex who wants to slide his metal member into her ghost box. lol Shortly afterwards, she helps new Alpha Flight and old Alpha Flight beat the new Weapon X, who was trying to set off a nuclear bomb in Canada. Can you imagine all the garbage they'd be sending to us THEN??? She, as well as Flex and Murmur were never heard from again.

Did you know?: She can also use her intangible body to create gateways through solid objects for others to use. She has created pathways for Puck and Flex to pass through her, and doing so tickles her.

Awww...you even included characters like Ghost Girl! You truly are a D-List fan! yay!

Neophyte's like a dude version of someone like Kitty Pryde or Loa, more than Mondo. Except that he can't phase into a ghost like Kitty... he can only move through solid matter, and he doesn't destroy what he moves through, like Alani.

Would have been interesting to see Generation X try to undo a lot of his Acolyte brainwashing, it that's where he was headed.

Meanwhile... Neurotap? She didn't do it for me. Having the mutant power to "fry yo brains" gets real old, real fast. How many people have that one? She's like somebody from the flick scanners, and her power isn't anything that the average telepath couldn't do, anyway.

Factor in her bizarre taste in men, and yeah... weird, weird character.

#37 No-Girl
Real Name: Martha Johansson
First appearance: New X-men #118
Most recent appearance: X-men: Divided We Stand #2
Powers: No-Girl.
Status: She’s going back to Cali…
Creator: Grant Morrison

http://media.comicvine.com/uploads/0/77/132848-123689-martha-johansson_super.jpg

Bio:
Martha was a young mutant runaway that fell into the clutches of John Sublime and his body-part stealing operation, the U-Men. He removed Martha’s brain and stored it in a capsule. He then pumped her brain full of drugs that he used to control her and force her to do his bidding. She mentally overwhelmed both Cyclops and Emma Frost and managed to subdue them. Eventually she was able to break free of Sublime’s conditioning and forced him to fall to his “Death.” REVENGE BABY! Cyke and Ems took her brain with them back to the school. There, the coolest student in the history of students, Quentin Quire invented a device that allowed her brain to float (without floating away) and gave her mobility. What a nice kid.

http://media.comicvine.com/uploads/0/8200/243888-14704-kid-omega_super.jpg

While at school she became best friends with Ernst, a super strong kid who’s body had aged into her 80s. Ernst was able to relay Martha’s psychic commentary. Eventually, Martha and the rest of the “Special Class” became members of Xorn’s Brotherhood, but she predicted his plans to kill all the Humans in NYC would fail, and she was right!

http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/thumb/c/c5/John_sublime.jpg/250px-John_sublime.jpg

She retained her mutant powers after the M-Day crisis and was seen to join the rest of the kiddos when Belasco transported them to Limbo. While in Limbo, Belasco took her and the Stepford Cukoos out of the mix by placing psychic blocking helmets on them. All of the kids managed to get free and escape Limbo and Martha returned with the rest of them.

After the Institute was recently destroyed, Beast came back to the ruins of the school to shred some documents and found Martha in a briefcase. He took her back to San Francisco, the current base of the X-men.

Did you know?: In the Here Comes Tomorrow future timeline, Martha is still alive 150 years from now. She is still close friends with Ernst, who was revealed to be a benevolent reincarnation of Cassie Nova. In this future timeline, a conversation with Cassandra Nova, confirmed that Martha was No-Girl all along as well as the fact that Martha knew Nova was Ernst all along as well. It was also implied that when she was alive, that Martha's blood possessed glow-in-the-dark capabilities and that Martha wrote a note to her parents using her own blood when she ran away from them.

Thank you, Mr Flash, sir!

I was quite quite hurt to hear that Beast has gone and formed a 'fringe science team' without giving the ultimate lab assistant a starring role. Maybe it is just that he is afraid she will expose his fraudulent monopoly on all things intellectual in the X-Men. Martha definitely knows more about calligraphy, anyway.

#39 Paradigm
Real Name: Unknown
First appearance: X-Force #87
Most recent appearance:
Powers: Paradigm is a combination of the alien race known as the Phalanx and a human boy with Technokinesis. He has the ability as all members of the Phalanx to restructure his shape and add mass by absorbing outside matter. He also can interface with any form of technology. Since he bonded with a mutant boy, he also has the ability to control the minds of others by enveloping them with his techno matter.
Status: Lost in Space
Creator: John Francis Moore and Jim Cheung

http://media.comicvine.com/uploads/0/9345/402516-82981-paradigm_large.jpg

Bio:
When the alien race known as the Phalanx first appeared on Earth to tangle with the X-men, it seems to have created a Governmental frenzy as nations across the globe attempted to co-opt this race of technology for their own designs. One such experiment occurred in China where a mutant boy with technokinesis (The ability to control techno stuff with his brain) was purposefully combined with a batch of Phalanx they had acquired. The result was Paradigm. He's apart from the Phalanx collective and has special powers due to the transformation. Somehow he managed to escape Chinese captivity and hooks up with the major loser known as King Bedlam.

Years later, King Bedlam founds a terror group named The New Hellions. He places his old pal, Paradigm in it's membership. Their first mission was to ransom the US Government into giving them boatloads of cash by threatening to let loose the being known as the Armageddon Man. X-Force of course, races to the rescue! Paradigm, at King Bedlam's behest takes out every single member of X-Force with the exception of Jesse Bedlam, who happens to be the kid brother of King Bedlam AND a member of X-Force. Jesse Bedlam is offered a choice to join his big bro and roll in the dough, but the kid brother wants no part of it. Jesse Bedlam's power is, convienently enough, the ability to disrupt electrical things and read technology. He shorts out Paradigm's hold on X-Force and gives Paradigm a Electric Wedgie. X-Force just barely averts the catastrophe planned by the New Hellions. The New Hellions escape/go to jail, with the exception of Paradigm, who tells the crew that he's going to go off to space to further explore his life and evolve into whatever his future holds. Paradigm is never heard from again.

Did you know?: I emailed/PM'd Keith Giffen when he was writing the first Anihilation Mini-Series about the possibility of Paradigm showing up in that series. His response was something similar to "Who?" Good Times!

Martha- The most important New X-Man, ever. The Beast remembered to pick her up from his lab, but did we ever see him pick up Quentin Quire? Nuh uh. Therefore, Martha > QQ. Her BFF Ernst and her need to make some noise in '09.

Paradigm- I can't say I like a character who's a mutant and a phalanx at the same time. It seems much more likely that he should have been a global threat than a one-off member of the New Hellions. Or maybe they should've included him in the Phalanx Covenant, or its immediate aftermath. But five years later, Marvel throws this guy out there as but one member of a villain team? Bah, he deserved better.

my boyfriend Freddy (Who doesn't read comics) comments on the D-Listers: It's kind of funny to hear a non-geek's reactions. and I totally don't agree

Feral: Sadsies that Legacy virus gets around. Perhaps comic book artists should draw a condom or three?

Fixx: My favorite, just cuz I liked The Fixx in the 80’s!

Flex: Is kinda cute for a cartoon guy.

Forearm: Kinda grosses me out a little.

Cordy Frost: Isn’t bi, she’s full on butch.

Halloween Jack: GREAT art!

Horseman of the Apocalypse: The art looks like it’s trapped in the 70’s.

Icarus: HOT HOT HOT. Too bad he’s dead.

Shola Inkose: I think Leslie would like him to break into her house.

Elena Ivanova: Sounds like a drag queen name. The first picture makes her look like a mouse. No wonder she’s MIA.

The Kleinstock Brothers: Again, multi-limbed people creep me out. (T)he(y)’s even creepier.

Lifeforce: I love that she only talked in whispers. That was funny. Does Marvel only kill the lesbian characters?

Locus: First off, her name needs a “T”. Second, the first picture she looks like a drag queen I know. Third, again, killing off of the lesbians? Is the Legacy Virus just an easy way to kill off comics in general???

Lois London: Who doesn’t love a cat killer?

Maggott: Looks too much like the Terminator. Slugs reminds me of Oscar’s pets!

Mandrill: His powers are sort of like mine. I look like a monkey, but my pheromones drive da boys WILDZ!

Mary Margaret: Precogs are creepier than multi-limbed dudes.

Mondo: I can see what YOUR attraction is!

#38 Oracle
Real Name: Lady Sybil
First appearance: Uncanny X-Men #107
Most recent appearance: Emperor Vulcan #5
Powers: Oracle is a telepath who can track auras, cast illusions and fly.
Status: Active
Creator: Chris Claremont and Dave Cockrum

http://media.comicvine.com/uploads/0/3347/504949-oracle_ucxm157__283_29_super.jpg

Bio:
Unfortunately, the Imperial Guard has not gotten alot of characterization. So there isn't alot known about Oracle, even though she has quite a few appearances.

Oracle first appeared while fighting the X-Men after Princess Lilandra flew the coop so to speak, down to Earth seeking the aid of Professor X, and she and her fellow teammates almost thoroughly trounce the X-Men, even though they have the unexperienced Phoenix on their side, until the Starjammer's come to the X-Men's rescue.

We next see the Imperial Guard come up against the X-Men after the Phoenix went all dark on them, and she found herself up against a Phoenix with mental blocks on. She was about evenly matched for Marvel Girl, until Phoenix decided to up the Ante and go all 'Dark Phoenix' on the Guard again.

http://media.comicvine.com/uploads/0/3347/504950-oracle_ucxm157__285_29_super.jpg

We next see the Guard being duped by Lord Sam'dar into attacking the X-Men again. With Kitty and Kurt trapped on their same ship, Kitty uses the ships Costume machine and gets a costume like that of Dark Phoenix and tricks the guard into thinking that she had returned and she ran away! Getting tripped up by Kitty, Kitty makes Oracle read her mind, to uncover the ruse that lord Sam'dar had put upon the Imperial Guard and his plot with Deathbird. Lilandra later asked Oracle to scan Proffy McBrokenleg's mind to see what was causing him such pain. She was soon overcome by images of the brood queen's egg implanted into the Prof's body. She goes into shock because the Prof's mental powers overwlem hers until Wolvie's metal claws severed their connection. She told Moira that the Prof had impressive mental defenses not remembering anything of the brood inside him.

Later, we see the Imperial Guard attacking foreign star-systems in the name of the Shi'ar empire, being led by a mesmerized Lilandra and a War Skrull Proffy NotsoBrokenlegs. The warskrull's captured her, along with the Prof and Psylocke. It seems they were targeting the psychics so their plans weren't discovered. Unfortunately, they didn't realize Wolvie's sniffer would out them. They were soon defeated by the X-Men. And everything was as right as Rahne.

http://media.comicvine.com/uploads/0/5551/544812-oracle01_super.jpg

She soon finds herself along with the rest of the Imperial Guard going up against the Kree and Avengers as they get themselves embroiled in the Kree/Shi'ar War. After 19 issues, she still doesn't do much, nor is there any character development. Blech.

The Imperial Guard were dispatched to Earth to help protect it after the rest of the heroes were swallowed by Onslaught. They were after Kree insurgents who implanted a Nega Bomb in the sewers underneath Manhattan. They were soundly defeated.

The imperial Guard left to investigate the sudden disappearance of the entire Shi'ar settlement of Eru-7. There, they discovered that the Beyonder, now called the Maker, had wiped out over 64,000 people, and Oracle used her powers to contain the threat by using her telepathic powers to shut the Maker down mentally. While in contact with the Maker's mind, she subjected herself to the Beyonder's madness, and even brought some of it back to her own mind.

The madness drove Oracle slightly insane. Despite this, she revealed to Gladiator that the Maker had formerly been the Beyonder and that it was now in mortal form.

http://media.comicvine.com/uploads/0/5586/540556-or2_super.jpg

The Guard was later ordered to attack the X-Men and their students by Lilandra who was influenced by a tranny Cassie Nova. Oracle scanned the grounds with her telepathy, detecting how many mutants were there, and the Guard attacked. The Stepford Cuckoos managed to draw Oracle into a frightening astral plane, rendering her temporarily catatonic. Oracle soon stopped Stuff from taunting the prisoners. Smasher then rejoined them, and told them of Nova's actions.

The Imperial Guard were dispatched to defeat Vulcan, and with the aid of Nightshade and Hobgoblin, she telepathically assaulted Vulcan, and Hobgoblin assumed the form of a young Vulcan who taunted him. Vulcan knocked out all three, but Gladiator came in and soundly !@#$ed him up.

She, along with the rest of the Imperial Guard, along with their Emperor Vulcan went up against the new Starjammers (including Rachel, Havok and Polaris) as well as former owners of the M'Kraan crystal. She and a handfull of the guard saved the Starjammers from being destroyed only to have them lay captured at their feet while a sharded-Phoenix Ray escaped capture.

Did you know?: Oracle apparently married Flashfire, another member of the Imperial Guard and retired from the cosmic policeforce for a while, but has since been seen back in the game and without Flashfire. Sometimes it’s not just Scott and Jean that don’t work out.

#40 Persuasion
Real Name: Kara Kilgrave
First appearance: Alpha Flight #41
Most recent appearance: X-men: The 198 Files
Powers:Persuasion has the ability to seize control of others using pheromones. She can also merge her mind with others creating a rapport with them. Originally, Persuasion needed to use words to control others actions, but over time she developed her powers to the extent that they would do what she intended without her needing to speak. Folks under Persuasion’s control turn purple temporarily. She can control more than one person at a time and her range of power is more than a mile. Encasing her in plastic can cancel out her powers.
Status: Still Purple!
Creator: Bill Mantlo and Dave Ross

Bio:
Kara’s father was Zebediah Kilgrave, AKA The Fiendish Purple Man, who has the powers to assume control over others using his mutant based pheromone powers. Purple Man did this to Kara’s mother and married her. Eventually, he realized he loved her and released her from his thrall. She was disgusted by the way he had used and abused her and she ran off to Canada. But much to her dismay, the rape had conceived a child. Kara was raised not knowing who her father was and she lived a pretty uneventful life until her mutant powers and purple skin tone manifested themselves at puberty. Her mom sat her down and had a heart to heart about her lineage and Kara freaked out and ran away. She stalked Jean Paul Beubier AKA Northstar to a ski resort since she was a HUGE fan! While freshening up in the bathroom she got hasseled by some chick who really HAD to Pee! Kara got frustrated and told her to “go jump off a cliff” and unable to control herself the woman did just that. Northstar had to save her and thus “outed” his secret identity. It wouldn’t be the first time people. When Northstar figured out that Kara had been the one responsible for making the woman attempt to harm herself he berated poor Kara. When faced with his queen out, she took control of him and told him to take her to a deserted island. While swimming there she was attacked by alligators and had to be saved by Northstar. When Jean Paul was submerged in water he was released from her control and took her back to Alpha Flight. Thinking that Alpha Flight was going to harm her, Kara took control over all of them. She kidnapped Madison Jeffries and escaped, only to be herself taken captive by the Auctioneer. Alpha Flight comes to the rescue and Heather Hudson decides to offer Kara the first spot on a newly forming Beta Flight. Kara briefly dated Whitman Knapp AKA Manikin after he joined Beta Flight as it’s second new member.

Real Name: Unknown
First appearance: X-Men #189
Most recent appearance: X-Men #193
Powers: Perro is a superhuman with enhanced strength, durability, and the ability to control gravity.
Status: Inactive.
Creator: Mike Carey.

Bio:
One of the Children of the Vault, Perro is large powerhouse of a man. Unlike most powerhouses, Perro actually has some intelligence. Close to his teammate Serafina, the pair often worked together. After being freed, Perro battled Sabretooth, who commented that Perro hit him harder than anyone he’s ever battled before. One of his first missions was to aid Serafina in gathering the mutants Northstar and Aurora and set them up to destroy the X-Mansion.

Due to Cable interfering with their plans, Serafina sent Perro back to Sangre, much to his dismay. When Serafina revealed herself, Perro in particular was annoyed with the fact that they had to confront the X-Men in physical combat. However, he gave it his all, and during the battle, demolished Sabretooth with his gravity-controlling powers. After his teammates Sangre, Fuego, and Aguja perished in battle, Perro fled the Conquistador.

http://media.comicvine.com/uploads/0/77/125999-180286-perro_super.jpg

Perro reunited with his Children brethren as the only survivor of the group who battled the X-Men, and followed orders from their new leader, Cadena. Presumably, Perro is laying low until their next plan of action.

Did You Know?: Many fans speculate Perro is gay and secretly in love with Iceman! Also, “Perro” is Spanish for “Dog.”

Creator: Bill Mantlo and Dave Ross

http://media.comicvine.com/uploads/0/77/109619-132282-persuasion_super.jpg

Persuasion was a valued member of Alpha Flight and Beta Flight for many missions and helped them fight numerous foes. Unfortunately she was injured in a battle with China Force Alpha Flight had to leave her behind to confront the Dream Queen. Believing that she had been abandoned by the team, she decided to quit Alpha Flight. She joined a rescue mission for Northstar and eventually joined a reformed Beta Flight. During this stint, she became extremely close to her fellow teammates Goblyn and Witchfire. When Department H was shut down and the Flight teams disbanded, Persuasion went to live with Goblyn and Laura Dean. Persuasion was confirmed to still retain her powers after M-Day.

http://i41.tinypic.com/2ajxcnm.jpg

Persuasion, Wild Child, Sunfire, Mimic, Lorelei, Whirlwind, Gypsy Moth, Sauron, Outlaw, Vertigo, Toad, Avalanche, Collective Man, Darkstar, Forge, Evangeline Whedon, Tempo, Sunpyre.

They are a huge "X-Corps" like team, with rotating cast members. There is a main team, and the rest are supporting cast. They function as Anti-Heroes, a morally grey X-Men. Not really an X-Force, not really a Brotherhood. More like just desperate losers all mixed together... the extras.

Oracle- Probably given the most personality of any member of the Shi'ar Imperial Guard, with the exception of Gladiator. Terribly underused. But telepaths are supposedly a dime a dozen in the Marvel Universe, and she's one of the few galactic ones of note.

Sadly, Lilandra is usually the "go-to" Shi'ar telepath, making her used even more rarely. It's a shame. Oracle looks cool.

Persuasion- Not that I'm complaining, but what's with her "half-n-half" superhero outfit? I don't see as how half a pair of pants can be worn without her purple cooch shootin' the breeze.

Maybe that's how her powers work, I dunno. Still, while I love Murmur, creating her for Seagle's Alpha Flight, as a "mental domination" character meant that there was no niche for poor persuasion on that team, and she remained in limbo... until the Digital Holiday Special.

Perro- Don't ask me what gravity powers have to do with dogs. Or why his outfit has giant metal studs coming out from all over it. But Perro, for putting the hurt on Sabretooth, and being a survivor of the first X-Men vs. the C.O.Vault fight, gets major props from me. Looking forward to his return with his BFF Serafina, and watching him get jealous when he learns Cannonball had a telepathic marriage & kids with her. HAW HAW. *channeling Nyssane*

I have been reading some of the early issues of X-Men (2nd series) and have come to the conclusion I fancy Forearm a bit. Maybe it is from playing too much Street Fighter/Mortal Kombat as a preteen...

Regardless, he is not gross Jack Flash's bf! And I want him back in comics, repowered! Hooking up with Dani in YXM? Yes pleez.

#42 Pink Pearl
Real Name: Pearl Gross
First appearance: Alpha Flight #22
Most recent appearance: Alpha Flight #105
Powers: Pink Pearl has no powers. She only has fat. Lots of fat.
Status: Inactive.
Creator: John Byrne.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v231/ursula_boi/Comic%20Book%20Stuff/AF22003.jpg

Bio:
Circus performer by day, international terrorist by night, Pink Pearl plotted to murder the Prime Minister of Canada and the President of the United States using a bomb. A friend of Northstar’s, Clementine, sought out her friend as well as Aurora for help in defeating Pink Pearl. Despite her size, Pearl proved a powerful enemy, being both quick and strong. However, she was defeated after one of her own minion’s, Bones, dagger plunged into her buxom bosom. In the end, her fat saved her from a grim fate.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v231/ursula_boi/Comic%20Book%20Stuff/AF105003.jpg

Due to her scheming nature, Pink Pearl was invited to join Superia’s Femizons, a group of female terrorists plotting to sterilize the world. She battled Captain America and Paladin, and threatened to rip each of Paladin’s limbs off with her teammates Titania, Poundcakes, and Frenzy. The group eventually disbanded after the death of Superia, and Pink Pearl decided to go legit.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v231/ursula_boi/Comic%20Book%20Stuff/AF105005.jpg

Discovering her business side, Pink Pearl opened up a strip joint called “Cloisters” in Canada. Aurora, Guardian, and Diamond Lil were customers at her establishment, and caused a ruckus with one of the male strippers. Pearl, holding a grudge against Aurora, immediately attacked. They defeated Pearl by punching her through a wall. However, the trio of women were all arrested for causing damages to Cloisters, not realizing Pink Pearl had become a businesswoman. She presumably still runs Cloisters.

#43 Primal
Real Name: Adam Berman
First appearance: Unlimited X-Men #16
Most recent appearance: Unlimited X-men #16
Powers:Primal can take the form of a giant reptilian man. In this form he has heightened stamina, strength, agility, reflexes, and durability. His reptilomorphic form also has hyper-keen senses and razor edged talons
Status: Inactive
Creator: Ben Raab and Mel Rubi

http://media.comicvine.com/uploads/0/9057/232016-180124-primal_super.jpg

Bio:
Adam Berman was a phenomenal student at a local high school near the prestigious Massachusetts Academy where the Generation X kids went to school and trained. Emma and Sean, the Co-Headmasters, had planned to allow a human student into the fold and had narrowed it down to two spectacular students from the Newton High School. Adam Berman and his competition Ginny Mahoney. Ginny won the spot and Adam was majorly bummed. It turns out that Adam was also a closeted mutant, who lived in fear of his classmates finding out. Ginny had been transformed by Bastion into a Prime Sentinel in order to infiltrate the school and Generation X. The next day at Newton High, Ginny the prime sentinel realizes that Adam is a mutie and tells Bastion all about it. She then goes to his house and makes out with him in order to obtain a saliva sample and introduce a catalyst into Adam’s bloodstream. Talk about cold hearted snake!

After Ginny gets to second base, Adam takes off to see Sean Cassidy and Emma Frost, AKA Banshee and White Queen, hoping to meet them and convince them that he should get into their school. When he gets there Emma senses that he’s a mutant and Adam freaks and lashes out at Banshee and then runs away. The next day, Banshee goes to Adam’s school to find him and talk to him. While at an assembly, Ginny is coerced by Bastion to activate the catalyst in Adam’s body and it forces his transformation into a mutant in front of the crowd. He is horrified, but even more shocked when Ginny transforms into a Prime Sentinel and attacks him. Banshee intervenes and saves Primal. Adam appeals to Ginny and the smart young girl manages to override her Sentinel conditioning. She kisses Adam again and then runs away herself. A short time later she’s meeting with Bastion and the android executes her for failing him. Awww!

After the battle, Primal and Banshee talk and he’s offered a spot on Generation X and a place as a student in the Academy. Adam turns the offer down, preferring to stay in a “Human” school and attempt to create the peace and harmony that the X-men’s dream is based on. He’s never seen again.

Did you know?: Internet Geeks and Fan Boys across the universe have made a case that Adam showed up in the background of the X-Men: 198 mini series. I wasn’t able to find a scan. But I am taking it as canon that he’s still powered!

#44 Prism
Real Name: Robbie (last name unknown)
First appearance: X-Factor #10
Most recent appearance: Messiah CompleX #1
Powers: Prism is a mutant with the ability to absorb and amplify any forms of energy projected at him. He is capable of storing light within his body and releasing it with devastating effects.
Status: Cloneable.
Creator: Louise Simonson, Chris Claremont.

http://media.comicvine.com/uploads/0/229/90143-91106-prism_super.jpg

Bio:
A founding member of the Marauders, Prism was first seen participating in the Mutant Massacre, where he, along with his teammates, slaughtered hundreds of sewer-dwelling Morlocks. He was part of a “search and destroy” mini-group of Marauders, consisting of himself, Arclight, and Scrambler. They were sent to destroy X-Factor, who were attempting to rescue any Morlocks they could. Prism was able to refract the optic beams from Cyclops with his crystalline body, but was defeated and presumably killed when Marvel Girl used her telekinetic powers to slam his fragile body into a wall, shattering him.

http://media.comicvine.com/uploads/1/10560/235867-193440-prism_super.jpg

During Inferno, all of the Marauders who were thought to be dead resurfaced and battled the X-Men in the sewers. It was revealed Mr. Sinister had cloned the Marauders, restoring them and their minds into new bodies. Prism survived the first battle with the X-Men, but perished when they went to the surface and were ambushed my demonic police officers. He also briefly battled X-Man while searching for Threnody for Mr. Sinister.

http://media.comicvine.com/uploads/1/10560/235869-117928-prism_super.jpg

Prism was one of the 198 mutants left after Decimation. In a mental hospital, Prism killed all those who had bullied him once before and rose to power as the head of the institution. He returned with the Marauders as they ambushed the X-Men at Mystique’s mansion. He fought against Rogue, who’s flames were unable to affect him. The X-Men were quickly defeated by the combined efforts of the Marauders, and Prism left with the group. He also participated in the second battle with the X-Men. Later, he was seen staring longingly into one of Mr. Sinister’s cloning tubes.

At the beginning of Messiah CompleX, Prism and his teammate Blockbuster were killed by the Purifiers, and later devoured by Predator X. However, Prism is likely to return at some point from being cloned.

http://media.comicvine.com/uploads/1/10560/235868-177412-prism_super.jpg

Did You Know?: It is unknown how or why Prism was in a mental institution rather than serving Mr. Sinister. One theory is that all of the Marauders have always been clones, and the real, original characters have never been Marauders. It would explain why Vertigo is constantly seen in the Savage Land, Arclight and Scalphunter were seen at the X-Mansion, and Harpoon was listed as depowered.

haha it was sort of hard to find all the images i was looking for, had to type in really specific words on google or other sights.

but yeah, those are some of my current favorite d-list characters. in a month ti will be completely different.

i remember one time i made a team of callisto, leech, quicksilver, maggot, arachne, firestar, namorita, multiple man, and aurora as a makeshift x-men team. the new x-men team, led by callisto, was x-23, stepford cuckoos, wolf cub, armor, ernst, and eventually anole, and they battled masque. masque morphed all three cuckoos together, making a three headed telepath. he made armor trapped in her armor form (assisted by other morlocks), wolf cub with no mouth or claws, and no-girl inside ernst's stomach, but visible from the outside. and they never returned to normal!

then once, my x-team was sunspot, quake, kid omega, lorelei, evangeline whedon, toad, ricochet, and fever pitch. it was a fun team to draw!

Primal- A blue-haired pubescent with the power to turn into Killer Croc, one of Batman's main antagonists. I doubt we'll ever hear from Primal again, except if it's only to see him killed in Act One of a story by a villain who hates mutants, to let us know they're not messing around. Mainly because the other reptilian mutant, Anole, has him beat in terms of personality and coolness. So it might be better that Primal remains forever forgotten, lest he show up to get killed. As long as he's still out there, people who write fanfiction of Generation X: The Lost Years will have someone to gush about.

Prism- Never understood why he's so damned fragile. You'd think he'd be razor-sharp glass that would cut up foes, or perhaps rock-hard crystal. But no, he's got all the durability of a damned light bulb. I think Blockbuster is the only Marauder with more deaths than him, and Prism's powerset might leave him as the least impressive, powerwise, of any of Sinister's Lackeys. Well, except for Ramrod, of course.

#45 Pulse
Real Name: Augustus (nicknamed Gus)
First appearance: X-Men vol. 2 #173
Most recent appearance: X-Men vol. 2 #187
Powers: Nullify the powers of others and disrupt telepathic and electronic communication rendering machines useless
Status: D for Delectable
Creator: Peter Milligan

http://media.comicvine.com/uploads/0/77/89406-163042-pulse_super.jpg

Bio:
Pulse's mutant ability to negate electronic systems made him the near perfect thief. With his powers allowing him to infiltrate highly secured buildings, he and his mercenary mutant partner Mystique were able to steal expensive items largely undetected.

However, it was another one of Pulse's natural gifts that brought Mystique's attention--she wanted him to save her foster daughter Rogue from a doomed relationship with her then-boyfriend Gambit.

You see, Gambit and Rogue were an incessantly whiney couple. From the get-go, they were unable to touch each other due to Rogue's lethal draining touch. Gambit, on the other hand, was involved in one of the most brutal atrocities committed against mutantkind. Plus, they just weren't that cute together.

More importantly, this chiseled, handsome (hung? (http://media.comicvine.com/uploads/1/18265/651563-pulses_special_attributes_super.jpg)) stud can nullify Rogue's deadly powers, allowing her the human contact she's so desperately been longing.

The strained relationship between Rogue and Mystique made contact difficult, so Mystique disguised herself as a student named Foxx to infiltrate the Xavier Institute. She tried to seduce Gambit (both as Foxx and as Mystique) in order to prove that he was unworthy of Rogue's affection, but her level of success remains unclear.

Once her ruse was revealed, she sought membership with the X-Men. After a convincing argument, she was voted in with a probationary status. However, Mystique's son Nightcrawler asked her to leave--at least for a little while--so he could "wrap [his] head around" her potentially being his teammate.

During the coming months, Decimation struck leaving 98% (or so) of the mutant population powerless--Mystique and Pulse being some of the lucky few to retain their mutant abilities.

Mystique returned to the X-Men, with Pulse by her side, seeking the X-Men membership she had been offered. During these desperate times, the X-Men took her and Pulse into their ranks.

http://media.comicvine.com/uploads/1/18265/651557-pulse09_super.jpg

At first, Rogue was hesitant and resistant to being set up with Pulse. But as her relationship with Gambit became more strained and the benefits with Pulse became more clear, she slowly began to warm up to the idea. Pulse insisted they first work on being friends "for there's enough war and strife in the world without us two fighting".

Pulse had to test his worth when the X-Men battled Apocalypse and his new batch of horsemen, among them Gambit (now known as the horseman Death) who betrayed the X-Men to willingly join his ranks.

http://media.comicvine.com/uploads/1/18265/651505-pulse2_super.jpg

During this betrayal, Rogue and Pulse became very close as Gus became Rogue's crutch during this rough times. Pulse seemed to reciprocate genuine feelings for her as he became annoyed and defensive at Mystique's teases and constant meddling.

http://media.comicvine.com/uploads/1/18265/651555-pulse012_super.jpg

In a fight with Apocalypse, Pulse was pivotal in fighting Apocalypse and his Horsemen by draining away their powers.

Although he proved his heroism, the fresh wounds of a broken relationship proved too hard for Rogue to begin a new romance with Pulse.

Mystique teased Pulse about his bad timing, but heartbroken and perhaps regretful for allowing himself to be involved in what hurt a nice girl like Rogue, Pulse left Mystique and the X-Men and has not been seen since.

Pulse- Not only did Milligan force him down fans' throats, he had Mystique trying to cram him down Rogue's. Shame, too. He had potential, based off his personality... but his "I can stop Apocalypse without breaking a sweat" powerset just rankled people even more.

He was a prettier Leech to give Rogue a pickle tickle at Mystique's behest, and get her a grandbaby to kidnap from Rogue.

I really wish I knew what Milligan's plans was.

Pusle. Hmmm. Part of me liked him due to his theivery and possible potential to be a total dick. Remeber when he called Mystiques phone and Emma answered? Then he just became kinda a wimp who was all pretty and didn't do much. Ask me and this time im serious. He was a rip Leech/Bedlam. With his powerset and his wimp personality.(Jesse use to run and try to avoid fights in the beginning as well)

No way, look what he did in Generation M. He disintigrated some guy's head with his energy beams.

That's if he got close enough. I always took Prism (and Vertigo) as the types to initially attack and then stand back as the other Marauders did the damage, since they wouldn't last in short-range battle.

I'd have to agree. Plus, Scrambler would likely move in for an opportune grab of someone, after these two softened them up. The Marauders really were set up for great team tactics.

#46 RISQUE
Real Name: Gloria Dolores Muñoz
First appearance: X-Force #51
Most recent appearance: New X-men Annual 2001
Powers: Risque can create localized gravity fields to affect inorganic matter, placing a gravitronic charge within an object to compress it into a small, high-density mass and then maneuver that gravity charge to propel the object at high velocities. Basically she causes implosions and can direct that energy discharge at things!
Status: D is for ALLEGEDLY Deceased
Creator: Jeph Loeb

http://media.comicvine.com/uploads/1/18265/476288-risque11111_super.jpg

Bio:
While many of you may know her as "That Girl That Played With Warpath's Bo-Jangles", Gloria Dolores Muñoz was much more than that to fans of John Francis Moore and Adam Pollina's quirky run on X-Force.

http://i405.photobucket.com/albums/pp139/maleficent_grl/D-Listing/risque.jpg

As a teenager she worked at an amusement park named Wacky World. After getting fired for doing naughty things behind the stands, her life spiraled out of control forcing her to be bailed out by a grotesque man named Sledge.

Of course his help came with a price and under the codename Risque, Gloria became his agent.

One of her first missions brought her to X-Force member James "Jimmy" Proudstar, also known as Warpath. Luring him in with information about his massacred tribe, she seduced the young man leaving him enticed, bothered, and bewildered (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=96UbVbNqRSE). Good girl. :)

Risque continued to follow Warpath, often saving him or assisting him in general when apart from the team, including a mission against Mister Sinister, who showed interest and curiousity in her supple behind.

Notably during a battle with Selene, Risque takes Warpath's unconscious body back to her place. No comment!

After a blazing affair, the two return to the X-Mansion where Warpath reunites with his X-Force teammates. She is met with disapproval and jealousy from Siryn, whom Warpath had been crushing hard but Sy wasn't having it until someone else showed interest in her man. So don't be a hater, Red.

Unfortunately for Siryn, Risque is just too sexy.

http://i405.photobucket.com/albums/pp139/maleficent_grl/D-Listing/risque2.jpg

Sorry!

Anyway, Risque and Warpath went clubbing one night when they were confronted by Blob and Mimic, two other "mutants" (stop being such a poseur, Mims!) who were working for Sledge.

Well...Risque defeated them anyway.

And Warpath was knocked out again.

Except! this time Risque drugged his drink! What a bad b--shut my mouth!

Risque finally fulfills her mission and drops Warpath off at Sledge's where he will be offered the chance to meet with talking squirrels and current X-Force ally Vanisher (see X-Force v.1 #69 for more details on that sorted encounter).

During this time, X-Force begins to wonder where Warpath and that devious girl are at. Caliban uses his mutant tracking abilities to locate Risque at Wacky World, her childhood escape.

There X-Force chases her and a still jealous Siryn leads the way. Risque almost finds a means to escape but she notices that Caliban is injured and suffering what seems to be a heart attack. Instead of fleeing, she tends to him where she is finally caught by X-Force who suspect her to have harmed Caliban as well.

After that is all sorted out, Risque leads the team to Warpath's whereabouts. While Warpath is unharmed, he ends his relationship with Risque despite her explanations for why she did what she did.

You'd think it was over for this D-Lister, but no!

She was later impersonated by the goddess Pele during a trip in Hawaii. X-Force figured it out and eventually spent a vacation on the island with Risque. That's nice of them and all but pssst...it wasn't really that good of a story IMHO.

Later Risque aids X-Force again when that pesky Demon Bear wreaks havoc on the team.

And then she joins the global mutant team X-Corporation. Along with Domino, they were the sole members of the Hong Kong branch.

She may have sorta died there fighting off a group selling mutant body parts.

I'm not really sure about that last part though.

It might've been fan fiction.

It would be heinous if ya left the Cuckoos like that

Nope! Not under my pen, at least. Maybe another writer can find a way, but if I got my hands on characters, I would be constantly throwing them through blenders and torturing them, pushing them through tons of changes. Something to advance them into being something other than static characters. I guess I just like to make a difference in everything I touch!

Grant Morrison's run was great, save for two characters he killed off for shock factor, and to make a new character he created seem OMGFNBADASS. One we talked about earlier, the lovely Darkstar.

But, for me, the far, far worse crime was when the U-Men killed Risque OFF PANEL. And no one has used her since. Come on! Risque was awesome! She had all sorts of mystery employers and connections, was a badass spy, and had the power to make s*** implode! Plus, she was one dead sexy Latina, and if she comes back, we can have her in a catfight with Hepzibah, who will still be able to smell Warpath's stank on her.

Wouldn't that make for a great issue of X-Force? I know I'd buy three.

She kind of reminded me of a latina Illyana in hair and personality. Edgy with a heart. I liked that about her. She'd be great for a X-Femme's team (I'm not talking about a Mo-Force here so don't get excited Jarrod)

Her, Illyana, Dani, chuck in Rahne and maybe Shan. They could be the female spy section for the X-groups. Illyana, can be the passport getting them in and out. Risque and Dani with their Ops training. Rahne for the tracking, and Shan for getting information. It'd be one groovy girly spy team...

#47 Rusty Collins
Real Name: Rusty Collins
First appearance: X-Factor #1
Most recent appearance: X-Men #42
Powers: Rusty is a pyrokinetic who can ignite oxygen and create fire. He can blast fireballs and create fire shields hot enough to stop most attacks. He is awesome in a can.
Status: D is for deceased
Creator: Bob Layton and Jackson Guice

http://media.comicvine.com/uploads/0/9490/224371-133634-rusty-collins_super.JPG

Bio:
Rusty Collins was just a small town boy from Tulsa, Oklahoma. He joined the Navy at 16 in order to see the world (and I am sure he liked the outfits!). While stationed in San Diego he went to a bar with some guys from his unit. At the bar, this hussy/tramp/heaux named Emma Laporte hit one poor Rusty. He’d never been hit on by a girl (He’s a ginger.) and the shock of it caused him to manifest his mutant powers for the first time. He burned off her face just cuz she gave him a stiffy! As Paris Hilton would say “That’s Hot.” and this time it was literally hot. The poor confused kid was arrested after burining skeezy Emma Laporte’s face off, but he accidentally set fire to the officer attempting to place him into custody and then ran off. See when he gets nervous or excited he bursts into flames! That’s tough, since most 16 year old boys are both nervous and excitable!

X-Factor gets called out to help “hunt” him down. He battles them out of fear, but they manage to get him to safety and “adopt” him. He’s a fugitive from justice, just cuz he accidentally burnt a tramp’s face off. Can you believe that? Anyway, he hangs with X-Factor and trains and is totally abused by Jean Grey who he kinda has a crush on. Gingers Unite! All is fine until Freedom Force shows up and it’s the cool as hell version of the team! They want Rusty in custody and during the fight, Rusty meets a cute spunky morlock girl named Skids. He is instantly taken with her, Jean Grey who?, and they manage to escape Freedom Force. During the battle, Rusty is injured and Skids agrees to stay with X-Factor to take care of him. Thus begins the greatest love story Marvel Comics has ever known. For Real. Don’t question it.

http://media.comicvine.com/uploads/0/5551/597656-rustyandskids_super.jpg

Later as X-Factor adds more homeless castoff mutie kids, they form a trainee group and go by the Team Title of the X-Terminators. These fantastic group of kiddos (Leech, Artie Maddicks, Boom Boom, Taki, Skids and Rusty) joined with another group of fantastic kiddos (The New Mutants) in order to protect mutant babies during the Inferno debacle. Eventually both fantastic group of kiddos merge into one group and Jed was a HAPPY little fan boy. Eventually though, Freedom Force comes a’calling again and they attack Rusty and Skids. They manage to fend off the persistent menace of Freedom Force, but Rusty is hurt and has to go to the Hospital. Again, poor Rusty and Skids were attacked, this time at the hospital by unknown forces but this time they felt like they had no choice but to join the Mutant Liberation Front. They just needed the protection. Shortly after hanging out with the MLF, Stryfe brainwashes them and programs them to attack Cable and X-Force. The MLF get taken down hard and placed in prison. Rusty and Skids join them in jail, even though they were truly innocent victims. Sometime later, Rusty (and Skids), were kidnapped by the Mutant Hate Group known as the Friends of Humanity. X-Force manages to save them, but they were still under the influence of Stryfe’s brainwashing. When X-Force traveled to Avalon, Rusty chose to join Exodus and Magneto’s group of Acolytes. Skids did as well and both were deprogrammed by Magneto himself and finally free of Stryfe’s effects. Rusty and Skids were just happy to be themselves and be together and didn’t participate in many missions for the Acolytes. Again, they weren’t fully committed to the “Cause”, just making the best of where fate had landed them. It was on Avalon that Rusty encountered the mutant known as Holocaust, whom the Acolytes had found floating in space. They took him aboard and as they were reviving him he began a killing spree that would take Rusty’s life. Holocaust killed numerous Acolytes until Exodus took him on. Avalon crashed to Earth and the Acolytes were never a cohesive group like they were pre-Holocaust.

Did you know?: In a What If, Rusty and Skids have a kid that Magneto tells them is the next stage of mutant evolution (Homo Ultima). This gets out and Aliens from across the galaxies converge to stop this threat. They brainwash Rusty and Skids to kill their child. Afterwards, Rusty and Skids leave the super hero business. It was revealed at the end of the issue, that Magneto had lied. The kid was just a regular mutant, but Mags had wanted to give his followers something to unite behind. Even in Alternate realities, Rusty and Skids just can’t get a break!

Poor Rusty. He was so great, but his weak point was being short on brains. I mean, he kept getting brainwashed or manipulated constantly, and when he did have his wits about him, he kept making the same damned mistake of trying to burn Pyro alive.

Which, of course, St. John just kept using his own powers to control the flames that Rusty would create, and try and burn him alive with them.

But good for Rusty for taking the virginity of a beautiful girl in a beret from the sewers. Not many guys could claim such a feat.

Real Name: Sarah Ryall
First appearance: Uncanny X-Men #300
Most recent appearance: Magneto: Dark Seduction #4
Powers: Scanner possesses the mutant ability to morph into an electro-transitional state, and psionically sense the detection of mutants.
Status: Inactive.
Creator: Scott Lobdell.

http://media.comicvine.com/uploads/0/9490/224013-71938-scanner_super.JPG

Bio:
As a member of the Acolytes, Scanner served as a scout that would survey the area before the others arrived, using her mutant ability to project an astral form to travel great distances. She was often seen as weak by the other Acolytes, and she lacked the confidence that the others had. During the Fall of Avalon, the Acolytes' space station, Scanner survived with teammates Unuscione, Cargill, the Kleinstocks, by the help of Cyclops. After crashlanding in the Australian Outback, the group found the X-Men's former base thanks to Scanner's scouting. Scanner requested to stay at the Xavier Institute but was declined. Xavier was a total deuche about it. She served alongside the Acolytes in many of their other missions.

Scanner was a total hottie. She made the facial tattoos work. I wonder what nationality she was, though?

Did Magneto ever give her a power amplifier, or have Fabian Cortez amp her up to recruit new members with her power to detect mutant energies? Who needs Cerebra if Magnus just did that?

Does anyone know the story behind Rusty's code name? He was apparently "Fire-Fist", but was never called that in the comic, I think the only reference to that name was when the Right had kidnapped the trainees...they had each trainee identified and he was listed as "Fire-Fist".

First appearance: Uncanny X-Men #300
Most recent appearance: Magneto: Dark Seduction #4
Powers: Scanner possesses the mutant ability to morph into an electro-transitional state, and psionically sense the detection of mutants.

#49 Scrambler
Real Name: Kim Il Sung
First appearance: Uncanny X-Men #210
Most recent appearance: X-Force #9
Powers: Scrambler can disrupt almost anything imaginable (Machine, Living being, powers, etc.) He has the ability to short out or nullify, cause a backfire or disrupt superhuman powers. His powers can also affect the nervous system of a person causing, immobilization, seizures or unconsciousness.
Status: Totally Clonable
Creator: Chris Claremont
http://media.comicvine.com/uploads/0/77/87326-43313-scrambler_super.jpg

Bio:
Scrambler is a total dirtbag sociopath and a member of the mutant assassin group called the Marauders. The Marauders were put together by Gambit and led by Sinister. Scrambler first showed up hunting down the Morlock named Tommy with the rest of his gang. They followed Tommy to the entrance to the Morlock tunnels and BANG-POW-SMACK, entered and began systematically massacring the Morlock community. The X-Men and X-Factor arrived to attempt to stem the genocide, but a huge price was paid. Some argue, that Scrambler and his ilk created the darker more gritty X-Men that we know and love today.

http://media.comicvine.com/uploads/0/3664/175391-15394-scrambler_super.jpg

Scrambler is seen next with the Marauders hunting down Maddie Pryor in San Francisco. Kim Il Sung takes out Havok on the Golden Gate Bridge by “Scrambling” his powers. He also joins his mutie gang in New York to battle the X-men during Inferno. Where him and all of his brethren “Died”. It seems that Sinister, the deadly sneak that he is, cloned all of the marauders long before and created a process where he can reactivate the clones with any and all memories of the previous clones. So basically they are a deadly as hell strategic strike force that has no qualms about violence, in fact, revel in it. AND they aren’t really killable. Talk about scary!

http://media.comicvine.com/uploads/0/9345/404245-150721-scrambler_super.jpg

Scrambler was last seen during the Messiah Complex battle. After M-Day, the event that decimated 90% of the mutant population on Earth, Sinister teams up with Exodus and there is a merging of Acolytes and Marauders. They are all after the first mutant birth since the decimation. The X-men and the Purifiers are also both in the hunt for the kiddo. This, fun for us!, caused a natural conflict and the X-men clashed with the Acolyte/Marauders. During this battle, Scrambler zaps Wolvie just as he’s been shot in the face by Scalphunter, disrupting his healing factor and making him vulnerable. Too bad for Scrambler, but X-23, Wolverine’s younger female version opens up a major can of whoop ass on him when she sees what he’s done to her “Big Bro”. She cuts off his hands and guts the poor campy queeny villain. Guess he learned that crime doesn’t pay or at least it doesn’t pay to Eff with X-23!

http://media.comicvine.com/uploads/0/5392/282680-167509-scrambler_super.jpg

He was recently seen in X-Force, so we know that his next clone has hatched and this one thankfully has hands! Yay, for murderous crazy eye-browed sociopaths!

Did you know?: Scrambler is presumed gay by a group of X-readers since he’s hilariously campy in most of his appearances, he has drag queen eye brows, and he’s also really femme compared to the largely testosterone filled Marauders.

#50 Senyaka
Real Name: Suvik Senyaka
First appearance: Uncanny X-Men #300
Most recent appearance: Cable and Deadpool #42
Powers: Senyaka can drain lifeforce energies from his opponents, convert his absconded “life energy” into augmented physical strength and endurance and has a pair of nifty psionic whips that can burn and paralyze others with bioelectrical charges !
Status: Mean as Hell
Creator: Scott Lobdell and Brandon Peterson

http://media.comicvine.com/uploads/0/77/208358-146762-senyaka_super.jpg

Bio
Senyaka is a Sri Lankan mutant recruited by Fabian Cortez into the Acolytes. He was a particularly brutal and sadistic dude, even for the Acolytes of the time. On his first mission as an Acolyte, they attacked a catholic school searching for a mutant student to recruit. During the attack, Senyaka viciously injured a human nurse at the school. Since he hadn’t been sanctioned to harm her, Magneto wrapped poor mean Senyaka in his own energy coils and crushed the life out of him. Magneto didn’t kill him because of his brutality, but because he acted without orders. And our Lord Magneto can’t have folks thinking for themselves. That’s not the Acolyte way! That would have been the end of Sri Lanka’s first mutant in the X-World (Watch me be wrong about that and there be like 75 Sri Lankan mutants), but Shield agents packed up his body and Senyaka’s “corpse” siphoned the life energy out of them and resurrected himself! Hay!

http://images2.wikia.nocookie.net/marveldatabase/images/thumb/7/75/Seyaka.jpg/200px-Seyaka.jpg

Seeking revenge on his former Lord, Senyaka went after Lee Forrester, a baseline human sea captain that’s tricked it with about half of the X-Men, one of whom being Magneto. For a broad that works with fish all day, this chick must clean up real good. Cable stepped in to save her from Senyaka and, you guessed it, tricked it with Lee Forrester (Whom had also bagged his dad Cyclops! Ewww!). Senyaka seemingly again DIED.

http://media.comicvine.com/uploads/0/77/252617-43526-senyaka_super.jpg

Senyaka next appeared with the Acolytes led by Exodus as they attacked Wundagore Mountain. They got beat. Then he appears with a group of rebel Acolytes led by Cortez in Genosha who were attacking and undermining Lord Magneto’s rule of that country. Man, this was one Acolyte who wasn’t afraid to step up to the big man in Red. Senyaka was on Genosha when Cassandra Nova destroyed the island nation with her Sentinel Attack. So once again, Senyaka was “dead”. This dude has died more than Jean Grey and Professor X combined!

http://www.bigislandtoys.com/images/13882.jpg(I want this toy!)

Senyaka next shows up with Gambit and Sunfire attempting to kill Cable and Deadpool. He has Deadpool on the ropes, but right before he can kill the annoying little prat, Wade gets teleported away. Senyaka hasn’t been seen since, but he’s probably killing people and “bucking” up to his betters somewhere in some shady place like Madripoor .

Did you know?: Senyaka’s name was only revealed in a Handbook, he’s never been called anything but Senyaka in the pages of the comics. He also loves Diet Dr. Pepper!

Scrambler- I like this guy, and I'm not sure how that is. I mean, he's essentially a combo of Leech and Bedlam, when you think about his powers, and he's been repeatedly killed. I like to think of him as the "opportunist" of the Marauders, since he tries to sneak up on people when they're distracted, or already down in a fight.

And his powers work even while he's unconscious, as revealed by Lady M and Malice, who threw him at Wolverine during Messiah CompleX, and gave him a case of rapid onset adamantium poisoning!

Which made me ask the question during last year's "Mutant League" competition. If you shred up bits and pieces of Scrambler, and telekinetically throw them at mutant opponents, would all the pieces still scramble and hard foes? I NEED TO KNOW!

Senyaka- An Acolyte who showed Magneto still has his Silver Age want to use fear and abuse to keep suboordinates in line. A mean streak a mile long, and... have we ever seen what he looks like without his mask? I don't think we have, have we? Hmm...

Bio
Shortpack is a diminutive member of Xavier’s Mutant Underground. He is trained as a spy and as a field handler for other spies. He worked with Xavier to help the mutant underground gather data on those that would attempt them harm. He strongly believed in Xavier’s dream of peaceful coexistence and strongly believed in not killing folks who didn’t need killing. He worked with Prudence and then Mystique as Xavier’s top operatives for a time. Forge created numerous miniature weapons and gadgets for Shortpack to use. During his time working with Mystique, the two developed an almost friendship, that bordered on trust at times. He was one of the few people that have been seen to get through to Mystique in the pages of the comics. It’s unknown if he still has his powers post M-Day. With Mystique returning to her wicked ways, it’s unknown if they’d still be allies in any case. I totally dig the small bad ass that is Shortpack.

Real Name: Unnamed but used an alias named ‘Sarah’
First appearance: X-Men #188
Most recent appearance: X-men #193
Powers:Serafina has the ability via a suit to disrupt and manipulate machines. She has the ability to bypass security systems and since the body is a machine, she can plug into super humans and use their powers against them or their compatriots. She can likewise use an opponent’s body against them and boost or enhance someone’s powers. She is also mean enough to cut a bitch.
Status: Dead? Or Missing!
Creator: Mike Carey and Chris Bachalo

http://media.comicvine.com/uploads/0/77/190479-89613-serafina_super.jpg

Bio:
Serafina, like all of the Children of the Vault, was not a mutant or a baseline human, but a third form of humanoid life that had evolved over the course of six thousand years isolated in the Vault. Serafina is first seen with Sangre hunting down Sabretooth. The big bad villain of yester yore barely escapes them. She then bypasses the X-men’s radar and plugs into a comatose Lady Mastermind. She uses Mastermind’s powers to submerge Cannonball in a faux life where he and Serafina have a relationship. They meet, court, fall in love and marry, and have kids. This happened in the space of seconds, but for Cannonball it felt like a lifetime lived. Wolverine intercepts the happy couple and Serafina takes both of them down hard and escapes. She also is part of the crew of Vault Children who take down SHIELD and abscond with Northstar and his twin sister Aurora. Serafina boost their abilities and creates further weapons for the Children to use against the X-Men.

http://media.comicvine.com/uploads/0/3848/119946-146227-serafina.jpg

In the final battle between the two teams, Cannonball appeals to her to remember their shared life. Begs her to remember their love and their faux children. She flatly tells him that she has no feelings for him, he goes a bit loco and slams into her. He drives her through one side of the Children’s metal ship and out the otherside. She presumably dies.

Shortpack- Why is he awesome? A telepath with a hard edge, due to the tragic nature of his powers, and yet a soft spot for a lady. Even more interesting... when was the last time a telepath was introduced with so unique a condition? It's always, "I can read minds. Otherwise, I look like an ordinary person." But not Shorty. He was far more different than the rest of the pack.

My only question is, given his condition, you'd think Xavier could have hooked him up with Hank Pym, via a friend of a friend, and got him some Pym particles to permanently correct his condition, before he ended up getting eaten by an ant, or something. At least make him temporarily tall enough to "field handle" some lovely lady.

Then again, I hear Professor Xavier is a jerk.

Serafina- Easily the coolest member of the Children of the Vaullt. She looked like a chola from a Tim Burton film, great visual. And the use of her "piggyback" powers... brilliant. I don't want her to be dead, I want a "Revenge from the Vault" storyline at some point. Hopefully written by Mike Carey. Include her, and Perro. Add plenty of sexual tension with her and Cannonball. Hell, have Iceman C-block her before she gets too close to Sam, to ensure "Bobby <3 Sam" fan-fiction continues!

i liked that his telepathy was naturally limited by his powers. if he were full-size, he might possibly be a slightly weaker version of Jean. i wish they had explained his powers a little more. it seemed like they were saying that his telepathy and shrinking were linked. his mind is constantly fighting to stop the process. that's gotta be tough. what a strange mutation. i'm surprised that he never used it to appear regular sized to others.

Xavier's kind of weird about dealing w/ the limitations in others' mutant powers. he basically crippled Jean when she was his student; putting the blocks in her mind so she initially only used telekinesis. he got Scott a pair of ruby quartz glasses instead of trying to fix his own natural control of the red beams. and he taught Shortpack how to stop shrinking but not how to regain his normal height (i'm assuming that he could w/ practice). as for why he didn't use Pym Particles, i'll go w/ the no-prize answer. Shortpack's powers are somehow related to the kosmos dimension; his mind somehow allowing him to access it. when his powers first emerged Shortpack was bombarded by a continuous stream of the pym particles; that he was too inexperienced to stop (or maybe his telepath was too strong to be easily controlled). so Xavier taught him how to focus his telepathy on one thing; blocking the link to the kosmos dimension. because most of that energy is directed towards maintaining his current height, he's only capable of short-range telepathy. therefore, any pym particle exposure would be ineffective in the long run. his real problem is that no one will teach him to use his tp to reverse his condition.

alternative explanation: his shrinking (depending on the artist) doesn't appear to have been uniform. sometimes he's drawn w/ overly long legs. sometimes he's drawn w/ a big head and stumpy limbs like a bobble-head. being regrown via pym particles might actually be harmful to him.

Then again, I hear Professor Xavier is a jerk.

definately but Shortpack was loyal to him. i wonder how long he was a student of Xavier's before becoming a field-handler. long enough to know Logan and Forge.

Real Name: Sally Blevins
First appearance: X-Factor #7
Most recent appearance: Uncanny X-Men #491
Powers: Skids manifests a forcefield that protects her from harm. She can extend this forcefield to protect others as well. The field itself protects Skids from harm by covering her with a completely frictionless surface. When her forcefield is activated nobody can touch or hold her, bullets and other projectiles will not harm her. She glides over any surface she travels over, since she is not truly touching it.
Status: Working for the Man

Bio
Sally Blevins has had a hard knock life. For real, Annie doesn’t have anything on her. Her powers manifested when her abusive dad came home to his wife allowing Sally to try on some Pearls. Maybe Pops wanted the pearl necklace for himself or maybe he just didn’t want Sally to wear jewelry. But he’d had enough and beat her mom to a pulp and then tried to start on her. Her powers kicked in on the first punch. Her dad was so freaked out and disgusted by his mutie daughter that he took off. Unfortunately, her powers didn’t kick off so easily for a novice and she was unable to dial the phone for help or pick up her mom’s broken body. Everytime she tried to grab hold of her she just slid from her hands. Sally’s mom died a short time later as the young girl could only sit beside her and watch. After her mom’s death, Sally became a street kid and eventually took to the abandoned New York Subway Tunnels that the Morlocks inhabited. She became the Morlock known as Skids, but was treated as an outcast because of her pretty looks. The morlock known as Masque tried numerous times to disfigure her face and body as was his cruel custom, but Sally’s powers kept his attempts from working. So she was basically an outcast among outcasts.

Sally met Rusty Collins in the middle of a huge battle between the ginger haired teen and Freedom Force. The two kids were attacked by a mutant hating mob and Sally’s powers kept them safe from harm. They also found out that Rusty’s flames could not harm her. The two fled to the Morlock tunnels, only to be chased by Freedom Force. X-Factor stepped in and saved them both and Sally decided to stay with them since Rusty had been injured in the fire fight. Lucky for her, since shortly afterwards, the Marauders massacred the majority of morlocks.

Rusty and Skids fell in love and became the greatest love story that Marvel has ever known. When Masque asked Skids to return to the morlock tunnels with the rest of the survivors, she decided to stay with Rusty. This infuriated him/her (Masque is a huge tranny) and he swore revenge on “the pretty little girl.” During this time, Jean Grey was training both Rusty and Skids in their powers. And boy was she a drill sergeant! During a training exercixe Sally’s pearls broke and she couldn’t managed to pick up the individual pearls. Frustrated and pushed to the emotional brink, Sally ran off to rejoin the morlocks. Rusty followed her and they had a huge battle with Masque. Then Emma Laporte, the trampy hooker that Rusty burned her face off showed up in the news and Rusty took her to Masque to “fix”. Masque bargained with Rusty for basically a version of that movie Face Off with John Travolta. He’d mess up Rustys and fix the trampy burned chick. Masque twisted Rusty’s face up and Skids lost it. Red Hair and an Ugly Face, NO WAY! She almost killed Masque but during the melee, she finally mastered her powers and was able to “turn off” her forcefield for the first time. Rusty also got his pretty face back! YAY! Emma Laporte stayed in the morlock tunnels and dated Qwerty for a while.

X-Factor ended it’s trainee program shortly after the book became a huge hit and Skids went to boarding school. Inferno began and Skids got back into the super-hero game to help save Artie and Leech. The former trainee kids called themselves the X-Terminators and teamed up with the New Mutants to fight off the demons attacking New York. Shortly afterwards, the two teams merged and Jed was a happy camper. They (Sally and Rusty) got separated from the gang when the New Mutants went to Asgard and Rusty was ONCE AGAIN attacked by Freedom Force. They were captured and both put in prison. Rusty for the face burning incident and Skids for resisting arrest. They broke out of prison to stop a nefarious plot by Nitro (the dude who blew up Stamford). They were going to tell the world about Freedom Force’s plans as well as save the good citizens from Nitro. Nitro was about to Splode when Skids contained him in one of her forcefield. She managed to take out his destructive energy, but the strain really hurt her. She was put in the hospital and Mystique spun the media to make it look like Rusty and Skids were helping Nitro rather than stopping him. The news started to report that the Mutant Liberation Front, a mutant terrorist organization, was working with Rusty and Skids and that caused the MLF to come to their hospital room and find out what was going on. This caused the police and the MLF to get into a huge shoot em up match and Rusty and Skids were stuck in the middle. Rusty got shot and the duo had no choice but to escape with the MLF. This is where it all started to go pear shaped for the two star crossed lovers. Stryfe, the nefarious leader of the MLF, brainwashed them into being as ruthless and barbaric as the rest of the MLF. They battled the New Mutants/X-Force and the X-men. Seeing her former friends did not shock Sally out of her conditioning and she even broke Boom Boom’s jaw! Eventually the MLF was captured and Sally ended up in prison again with Rusty. The Friends of Humanity, a human based terror group, had plans to get the two and publicly make examples of them, but they were rescued by X-Force before they could be killed. Still under Stryfe’s brainwashing, the two didn’t fit with their old friends and when they had the chance to join the Acolytes, they took it. Magneto finally undid the conditioning that Stryfe had put into place and the two managed to be happy for a while. They didn’t fit well with the Acolytes, but they were together, in their right minds, and safe. They knew they didn’t fit in with the Acolytes and had been looking for an exit strategy, but hadn’t found the right way out and at least they were finally safe! Or so they thought. Holocaust, Apocalypse’s son, was taken aboard Avalon, the Acolytes headquarters in space and proceeded to destroy the satellite space station and in the process killed Rusty. I know. It’s okay, you can cry too.

Sally left the super hero or superhuman terrorist biz and decided to enroll in college in Colorado. She wanted to be a normal chick, but when X-Force came to visit, they mucked it up for her and she ended up being outed as a mutant when the MLF attacked. She was next seen working as a member of Roberto Dacosta’s X-Corporation office in Los Angeles. After M-Day, Sally joined the remaining mutants back at the Mansion only to be again enthralled by another powerful mutant. She went all cuckoo for Cocoa Puffs over him, but in the end he was defeated and at least she wasn’t made into a Horseman or something. She just got glamoured by him and didn’t help fight him.

She was next seen as a Morlock again AND under the direction of Masque of all people. Fanboys around the world rebelled against this idea, but Ed Brubaker cleverly revealed that she was a SHIELD spy, working to take down mutant terror cells from within. Masque was defeated with her help and all was right with the world. Skids is back on the side of the angels and working for the man. Maybe she’ll join up with Misty Knight and become a Daughter of the Dragon, SHIELD squad. That’d be fantastic.

Did you know?: Skids was not afraid to work a beret and leopard tights! AND live in a sewer! All while being stylish and sweet smelling. She’s one of my top ten mutants of all time. I hope Rusty makes it back to her someday. She deserves the happiness.

This is maybe a controversial opinion. I like her, but do people agree that although Bachelo's character design for her is great, when other artists try to copy it, she doesn't look nearly as good?

I think that artist was pretty crap though.

True, that is also a factor.
