In this latest issue Cassie FINALY ditches her ties to Ares and embrases her own power (Lets not forget... she is a demigod)
Now... first off.. Cassies story in this arc SHOULD have been a miniseries.. It simply needed more time
secound.. I like it.. shes not all whiney and back at full strength again..
but!
Where the HELL did the badguy go?
what has she become the "goddess" of?
WW's lasso is all about truth.
WG's old lasso was all about like.. pain.. war kinda deal..
her new one is all about.. WHAT?

The bad guy did what he was told to do.....He went away....
This new lasso reminds me a bit of WW's original, which kind of sucks, cuz I wanted that for Donna.....

The book never recovered after the One Year Later disaster. They need to stop playing musical chairs with the cast who are suppose to be a functional family not this disfunctional nonsense I've been reading in the trades.

thats what the next arc is for..
Also he has a core now.. think about that
Tim, Cassie, Jaime and Eddie
I have no thoughts on this series, just a massive pile of hate. I'm young enough that the Teen Titans show helped get me further into comics, and to encounter the angsty, whiny, emo-tastic real versions of the characters I liked onscreen was nearly enough to pull me out again. I know real teenagers with better judgment. Ones that weren't trained by Batman.

Now now, don't call them "real versions" immediately. You should check out Goeff Johns's run and Teen Titans Year One.

I think Peter David's Young Justice is a great place to go to find the "real" versions of these characters. Bart, Cassie, Kon and Tim were all a lot more likable when they were having fun hanging out together and saving the world. Of course since "fun" is apparently a bad word in the DCU these days, it makes sense that we would see these characters decimated.
