My dilemma:
So, both Nova #19 and Guardians of the Galaxy #19 are out today. I love both these books - probably favorite Marvel/DC books. But this is the start of new arcs in both - its a good time to make the switch to trades if I am going to do that. Or do I read another arc in issue. I can't afford to get both formats.
So every time an arc ends I have to think about this decision.
These are the only marvel floppies I get (I get a lot of trades though). In fact they are 2 of the only 5 floppies I collect. It'd be nice to switch almost entirely away from single issues.
But its nice to get the monthly doses of these books.
But its easier and more fun to reread collections.
But I want the sales on these books to remain decent.
I can't decide!!!

Previews Vol XVIII #12, $4.50
Marvel Previews #64 (December 2008), $1.25
DC COMICS
Birds Of Prey #124, $2.99 - Happy and sad that this book is ending soon.
IMAGE COMICS
Brit #10, $2.99
Savage Dragon #141, $3.50
Walking Dead #55, $2.99 - Love that both Kirkman and Larsen are cranking out their books at a regular clip now.
MARVEL COMICS
Captain America #44 (Regular Steve Epting Cover), $2.99 - When was the last time an issue of this book wasn't good?
Guardians Of The Galaxy #7 (War Of Kings Tie-In), $2.99 - Love this book. Sure hope the upcoming solicits aren't an indication that Pelletier is off the book...
Ms Marvel #33, $2.99 - Slowly losing interest in this book. I think that it has a lot to do with not having a regular penciler on the book since Lopresti left.
Nova #19, $2.99 - Still need to read the next issue.
Ultimate Spider-Man #128 (Ultimatum Tie-In), $2.99 - After the last issue, can not wait to read this book!

Probably doesn't help much but I'm a monthly guy for my Marvel and DC books so I'd suggest sticking with those. I also have trouble switching from one format to the other mid-run so once a book starts and I am enjoying it, there is no turning back!

well you were my only response - and I decided I will switch to the trade for War of Kings (maybe). So I bought the new issues (they were great!)

Truth be told, I have no idea what this War of Kings storyline/trade dress is all about.

I don't either. Only that it involves the Inhumans and I think also the Starjammers/Shi'ar - and its by the DnA team that has been rocking out all the Marvel cosmic stuff.
