KC Supes' story? A favor

What's happening to him? Still on the main DC Eart (whatever)? Gonna die? Back to the KC Universe?

I haven't read any of the new JSA one-shots yet, but otherwise, not much has happened so far.

KC Superman was apparently yoinked from Earth-22 just after that gulag was nuked, because he seems to believe that all other heroes on his Earth are dead. He joined the JSA and also teamed up with the regular Superman (New Earth) to fight Hercules and also Magog. The last dozen issues of JSA have very slowly been building up to a battle between the JSA and Gog (surviving Third World (pre-Fourth World) deity and creator of Magog). KC Superman will be starring in his own one-shot this month or next. After that, I think that he has to go back to his own world, to finish out the Kingdom Come storyline properly. And he will apparently be very angry when he returns, judging by that scene at the United Nations building in Kingdom Come.

The two Power Girls have not yet been reconciled. Our Power Girl (New Earth) is not the Power Girl of Earth-2, as even her cat has figured out. But their Power Girl seems ridiculously violent, impulsive and shouty. The only reason it wasn't immediately obvious that there was something wrong was because Jerry Ordway now has a tendency to draw everybody with crazy cultist eyes. But the last time Power Girl of Earth-2 got ahold of our Power Girl, she tortured her with kryptonite. My best guess is that the Ultra-Humanite of Earth-2 has taken up residency in Power Girl-2's body.

Thanks! I appreciate the summary. Didn't want him to be killed in some new version of the KC universe. BTW, if he goes back to the KC universe, does he then go back in time to what DC Universe to deal with all the Kingdom stuff!

Power Girl's been resolved. "Our" Power Girl is left over from the old multiverse which was destroyed in COIE. What Gog sent her to was the NEW Earth-2, created when IC rebooted the multiverse. A brand-new Earth-2 universe was born, with everyone in it... including PG, and even Kal-L. It just happened that when our PG was sent there, their PG had been MIA for awhile, looking for her cousin who was ALSO MIA. Our PG naturally believed it was really her world and figured Kal-L was 'missing' because he was dead, which pissed off their PG royally when she showed up, thinkin our PG had done something bad to their Superman.

So the way it stands, I believe, is our PG is the sole survivor of a universe that'd been wiped from existence, while there's a new Earth-2 and Kara Zor-L and Kal-L and everything else that evolved roughly along the same lines as the pre-COIE Earth-2. So it's the same, but different. Our PG is back on New Earth, now dealing with the knowledge that her original universe is completely gone.

So the New Earth Two has a Corrigan Spectre and Nelson Fate - those two could port to New Earth and clean the place out.
