Yeah, so Austen gave Jan the power to grow. Did anyone actually like this developement? I liked it in the sense that I could see Hank doing this, but the health risks could be the reason he did not.

It was out of character for Jan. She would never do anything that would make her butt look gigantic.

but she would do anything to be the center of attention. i thought it was a cool use of her powers. i wish Austen had made her more competent. i love how she's portrayed in Marvel Adventures Avengers.

Didn't like it. I'm fully aware this could simply be because Austen introduced it and I have nothing nice to say about Austen's writing skills... but, yeah... didn't like it.

Yeah, I was fine with Captain Britain joining the Avengers, but I could never figure out what was wrong with Thunderball during that arc....

All things considered, she should be getting more practice with this power.
In New Invader#0 she was actually called Giant Woman...

No objections, but it is odd. But no more odd than having Storm as a member.

Think of it as an alternate reality, or at least alternate timeline:

When Chuck Austen enlarged Wasp during his run, I will admit it was pretty jarring at first since it felt like it came out of nowhere.
It kind of makes sense nowadays though, especially given how powers tend to get upgraded but I usually prefer normal shrinking Wasp.

Hmm. Maybe after Secret Invasion, she won't be dead, but she'll be permenently Giant Woman!

I will admit that's one of the few things I liked about the Austen run.
