Ares is featured on the cover of the Dark Reign files along with other villains. Is he turning heel?

I think Ares is more colorful as a heel... plus they may well have planned for Thor to rejoin the Avengers in the future, hence no room for 2 gods on one team (except for emergencies of course).

He's been pretty antagonistic towards Hercules, but not a complete foe. Hopefully they'll keep him at that in-between stage.

That rings true to the old greek Myths, also He was a bad guy in the 70's.

I'm happy to see him switching back and forth. He was alway more of an Avenger for the good fights than he ever was to battle for good or justice. I think he'd be on whichever side promised a good fight. And frankly, he'd probably love to smack around some of his Avengers teammates too.
Heel turn? I don't know... after seeing him try to kill Hercules in Incredible Herc and Iron Fist in Avengers/Invaders I'm frankly not sure he ever really was a face.

It looks like it will have special bios when it comes out in February.

Is it really "turning heel" when you start out a villain then move up to where you're an anti-hero at best?

I wonder why Sinister is a man on that cover, she's been a woman for months now.

Yay for more Rulk.
His insane, innane presence in the MU always makes me laugh. He's my favorite new villain in 2008 because he makes no sense, and no one in the MU seems to really care about him.

I like Ares as a good guy.
I'll still like him if he becomes a villain, of course, I'm just happy with where he is.

Did Ares ever truly turn "baby face"?
Seems he was on the Mighty Avengers for the money and the fights. Like it was said earlier he is not about Justice.

That Man looks like Xavier. I wonder if they just took an image from Legacy?
