The cover for Secret warriors looks cool!

It reminds me of Civil War...

The Runaways cover reminds me of an old New X-Men cover

*sigh* good times

I Sue Storm in the Ultimate FF cover...

Okay...someone is going to have to explain to me who the hell that guy is in Stephen Strange's attire on the Hulk #10 cover (if he's not new).

He looks cosmicy.

I'm all for a new Sorcerer Supreme that doesn't remind me of Vincent Price's friendly approachable brother Lamont but the old man's cape and finger poses are off limits, I don't care if they come with the job.

It's Dr Strange's awful and thankfully short-lived costume from the end of his first ongoing, back in the 1970s, as the series continues to assert its lack of taste violently.

BOO on She-Hulk being cancelled. They revamp BP again, but can't fricking bother to promote one of the best books on the stands.

Ah.

So Stephen is not only losing control over his powers but he's going senile aswell.

Nice touch, Jeph.

That Secret Warriors cover is awesome! Very eye-catching design. On the other hand, the Cable cover and Greg Land's Deadpool poster are both hideous.
I can't wait until all the Dark Reign stuff is unclassified.

Man, I really wanted to pick up the Captain Britain TPB but it's $17 for four issues! That's $4.25 an issue! What the hell are Marvel smoking? This can't be Marvel's best selling title, surely they want to attract new readers with it.

Well these solits are a bit of a joke. I understand why they're so sparse, but still. Having said that I'd like to check out the following new series:
* Black Panther - Based on earlier interviews I'd like to check this out.
* Secret Warriors - Also basing this on earlier interviews.
* Astonishing Tales - Marvel Comics Presents started out okay, but ultimately left me less then enthused. This looks like there'll be no ongoing stories, in which case I'd be willing to give it a try.
* X-Men: The Times and Life of Lucas Bishop - Despite this being $4 I'm definitely getting it. Although I'm having to put two Marvel comics in my trade list to get it.

Also I see Runaways has a new artist. Is he filling in or is this a permanent change? If the latter I'd love to pick up this series.

I see that my Getting in Trades list is only going to grow. I've got 7 new comics I want to pick up in January, and now another 7 for February (8 if Ramos is off Runaways). There's no way I can afford all of them, but to be able to afford most of them every single one of my comics on my pull list is going to have to get moved to my Getting in Trades list except for Robin (which ends in February).

So its a good time for me to be a comic fan :D Even if I don't like all of the new comics I'm picking up next year, there should be enough to keep getting and entertained.

Well this is dissapointing, as I loved She-Hulk's secret invasion tie-ins.

But honestly, I didn't have the extra cash to pay for the series after SI ended.

I like her as a character, but sadly, I think of her as nonessential.

I actually support Ms. Marvel, I jumped on with issue 20, and remained after SI finished. I even bought that Ms Marvel Storyteller one shot, and the annual with Spiderman.

I also hate how Black Panther and New Exiles are being reset with the same creators coming back. I suppose being reset is definitely much better than being cancelled, but I'm finding it to be really annoying.

But overall, these resets and cancellations feel very artificial and shouldn't be happening unless Marvel is actually losing money by producing these titles.

It'd be nice if Marvel actually admitted that they're losing money on the titles they are cancelling and could only afford some titles that weren't selling that well to keep producing them. But thats not going to happen.

I love Hulk's comic, and I think that's Dr. Strange's best costume ever.

Ugh, more and more comics are getting a 3.99 price tag.Oh crap!

Well it looks like I won't be getting (despite earlier plans to if the January solits sounded interesting) Dark Avengers.

I am willing to give a $4 price for:
* Black Panther
* Secret Warriors
* Astonishing Tales

because they have extra pages, assuming they drop down to $3 in March or keep the extra pages. However its disturbing to see:
* Ultimate X-Men
* Ultimate Fantastic Four
* Hulk
* Punisher: Frank Castle (is this a mini? I forget which Punisher book is meant to be the mini)

all have the $4 price tag as they're ongoings.

Punisher: Frank Castle is a MAX book, which is more expensive in general; the others, I have no idea why (though in the case of the two Ultimate titles, these are their final issues).

Punisher: Frank Castle is the MAX series. It looks like they're renaming it? The mini is called Punisher: War Zone.

I was thinking the same thing. I was under the impression TPB sell it for less than 2.99 times issue count.
Ridiculous. So I guess I'll just skip this series completely then.

We're pretty proud to have Kenneth Rocafort producing the lead art for the new "Astonishing Tales #1" as part of the ongoing Marvel/Top Cow deal. He's going to blow everyone away!

i'm so happy happy happpppyyyyyyyy that Stefano Caselli is doing Secret Warriors guess that Mighty Avengers issue was a trial run. Wooooo!!

Although Secret Warriors? even do Nick fury refers to them as Commandos in SI!
I would've liked Fury & The Howling Commandos better. Looking forward to what part Phobos plays and were his dad stands on all this.
