Some random thoughts:

Blade vs. Dracula!

The "Eighth City" is the Capital City of Hell? Well played, Swierczynski. Well played.

Love that NOVA cover. But then, I'm a sucker for that style.

"This is it, the full-length story that, oddly enough, you keep demanding... THE DEATH OF THE SENTRY!" Heh.

Yay, Circus of Crime!

I can't wait to see Doom leading the Circus of Crime. They did once travel throught Latveria back in SVTU.

I guess Ground Hog's Day is the Christmas because the the Fantastic Four Christmas issue (in 2 parts no less) is coming out in February. So this means Hitch found his inker he was looking for like Diogenes out with his lamp looking for an honest man. Why does this particular artist have a problem lining up inkers? This was the excuse given with the 7 month gap between issues of the Ultimates vol 2.

Not Millar & Hitch's fault that the inking got messed up.

Overall: the post-SI classified stuff means that there's a whole lot of unknowns at the moment.

Both Caps (America and Britain) look good; I've been waiting for a really Spitfire-centric story since this series started. Brubaker's Daredevil likewise looks good; Brubaker has spent a good number of issues using lower-tier villains as a break from the Kingpin, but it was only a matter of time until he returned.

Yay, Circus of Crime!

So does this take place in current "Marvel Adventures" continuity? Or does it take place at some vaguely-defined point in the history of the good ol' 616?

Oh, and is that the Thin Man on the cover of Cap?

It's not a Marvel Adventures book.

It's pure 616 set in the past, much like X-Men: First Class, Wolverine: First Class, and Age of Sentry.

Not Millar & Hitch's fault that the inking got messed up.

Then I mean, cancel the Christmas issues or do a special one-shot not in the regular series. It's pointless to put it out in February and then March.

Man, this looks exciting so far, and these are just advances. Darkhawk, Moon Knight hanging with the Punisher, Hyperion is back on Earth, and the Kingpin is back in the States. I'm psyched.

I'm excited and intrigued with the Darkhawk solicit. It makes it seem like they're going to give him an uber power boost or something. I've always kinda seen him as sorta street level (or just a bit above that), even despite his amulet's power output able to totally annihilate an Ultron model. I guess that whole android body-switching thing made me think his powers weren't all that powerful simply b/c they could be so easily reproduced. I wonder how/if they'll keep that in mind w/ this mini. Maybe since this is tangentially connected w/ something to do about the Shi'ar, Darkhawk'll be made into something like a rival to the Phoenix (which, now that I think about it, is a bit too powerful, but we'll see).

Sign me up for Nova, Marvels, and X-Force.

Saving a sh**load of money now that they cut out the crappy Dark Reign junk. Classified my ass.

DARKHAWK!! HOLY CRAP, DARKHAWK!!!

I know, I know. I know he's not that great of a character. He has a great look and everything, but doesn't exactly the most stellar history of stories under his belt. Still, he was a hero conceived of and created when I was just getting into comics, so he will always have a special place for me when buying comics. He may be the best superhero, but he was one of my first.

Jan saw the continuing Marvel drama of making over established male characters into females. Will this trend continue in Feb? Does someone at Marvel have a hard on for a sex change? Maybe there is a strong cross dresser contingent at Marvel!

I cant wait for Dark Reign! w00t

LOL. Oddly enough, it's taken them this long to make it happen!
