Trip
Avengers Fairy Tales #4 (Marvel) - by Cebulski, Tercio, Wendling. Good, basic issue, but too basic. The art was good, but the story took it nowhere. I don't always need twists, but something new would've been cool.
Batman Cacophony #1 (DC) - by Smith Flanagon, Hope, Major. The art is wasted in this one. The whole thing with Deadshot was silly and is the Joker bisexual?
Fire and Brimstone #3 (Antarctic Press) - by Moore, Hartman, Bevard. This is an exceptionally fun issue and fits in perfectly with the excellent series.
Gen13 #24 (Wildstorm/DC) - by Beatty, Huddleston, Strachan, Royer. Backup by Gage, Woods, Strachan. I'm amazed, this is two in a row. This series has caught my attention with this issue. Though the backup is not really necessary, the main story was really fun and it was nice to see more Huddleston art in a book that I would've never expected to see it work so well.
I Kill Giants #5 (Image) - by Kelly, Niimura. Ahh...the questions, the questions...This series is coming along nicely. I wasn't sure if she was depressed, crazy or telling the truth. It seems like they can all see the titan.
I Hate Gallant Girl #1 (Image) - by Valentino, Cahill, Damoose, Tripp. Honestly, I wasn't expecting much from this one, but it surprised. The story was nice, fun and light but not boring. Things seem to be moving fast, but I think this is only a 3 issue series. The art reminds me of Gisele Lagace's style, which works very well in this book.
Recidivist (La mano) - by Zak Sally. This little GN blew me away. Sure, it's not new, as it apparently came out in 2005, but the thought in this book is crazy, in a good way. I don't know the point of this book, nor anything about the author or anything, but I adore whatever brilliant mind produced it.
