Is there any connection between her and Jaina Solo from Star Wars in terms of the character's creation?

The is no connection to Jaina from Star Wars. I never read the books and rarely, if ever, heard the names of the twins by Han and Leia. I actually took the name from this girl I went to school with. We were both born long before Star Wars was even in production.

I haven't drawn anything in a while, but I thought this would be a nice way to get back into the flow a bit. My Jaina looks a little older than some of the others perhaps, but I hope you like it.

I like it.......I like the eyes especially and the hair is good too. For some reason I always have trouble drawing long hair.

Sam, she looks terrific. Because of some trouble at home I was barely on-line last night and I work nights to boot. But I see this morning and I like!
