Iron Man End, $4.99 - if this is the Michelinie/Layton story, then I am in.

Catching up on the last 3 weeks, these were my picks:

Lucha Libre #6 (Image) - This is a good book, coming out about 3 times a year, but it's also expensive. I hate and love this comic. It's everything I think a comic should be. Some graphic satire & advertisements within, it's mostly comics. I wish it were not so oversized but I think that it's large size is appealing. The content is sometimes offensive and odd, but it's also very amusing and funny.

Ferryman #1 & 2 (Wildstorm/DC) - by Andreyko, Wayshak, Eltaeb. Wow, that's all. This looks great and while the premise is obvious the art is very engaging and energetic. Like a cross between Keith and Liew & Hempel. The raw art alone sells this one.

Rest #001 (Devil's Due Publishing) - While I did not have high hopes for this one, I have to say, it's alright. The art is nothing new. It's clean and thankfully free of being a strict translation of photo art, but the story is actually pretty good. I can already see where it's going, but there are more positives than negatives with this new book.

Ms. Marvel Special: Storyteller #1 (Marvel) - by Reed, Camuncoli, Ruggiero, Mossa. I don't really know any of the backstory of why this came out or whatnot, but it was okay. I was more interested to see more Camuncoli art than the story, but the ending was good.

Teen Titans #2 (DC) - by McKeever, Dagnino, Fernandez, Reis, Barrows, Jose. I was decieved. I wanted more Barrows than the cover, but it was alright. I have to say, it's disconcerting to see how easily one character can handle most of the team.

Terror Titans #2 (DC) - by McKeever, Bennett, Jadson, Reis. This is a fun book, a really fun book. But it seems like in a effort to get the miniseries done, it's not being handled properly. Excellent, 2 quick deaths to start, but then, nothing. Not even the fights were exciting. A panel or two? Are you serious? The art is only okay in the book, why stop the momentum of the fun of the premise of the book? And how can an explosion take off someone's armor, yet leave them unscathed? Does Ravager have superhuman skin?

Proof #13 (Image) - There was a lot in this issue. But I take issue with what was going on in the main part. The backups were okay. But, and I normally very enjoy the art, but it looked messy. It was focused, then unfocused, focused, then unfocused. Comeon, guys.

Army@Love, V.2, #4 (Vertigo/DC) - by Veitch, Erskine, Miller. This is just getting strange. Nothing too comical or satiric in this one, unfortunately.

Justice League of America #26 (DC) - by McDuffie, Benes, Pantazis, Hi-Fi. I've seen better Benes art, this was okay but not great. And why the Terror Teens, DarkClub fight card in the back? Why not have that in the comic where it matters, oh...Terror Teens, perhaps?

Justice Society of America #20 (DC) - Okay, so his suit is not on properly. Seriously, that's a plot point? And how does he get his suit on? The thing is tighter than his skin! And it looks the same, all over!

Hellboy: In The Chapel of Moloch (Dark Horse Comics) - by Mignola, Stewart. Ahhh....Hellboy, like only Mike can draw this comic. I miss this. Come back to us Mike, come back.

Secret Six #3 (DC) - by Simone, Scott, Hazlewood, Wright. So many questions, so many great revelations!

Knights of the Dinner Table magazine #144 (Kenzer and Company) - Another great rpg set of strips.
