I finally got up to reading this after getting my cousin's old Flash comics and I have to say......I really liked how it cemented Wally in his status as the new Flash,a nd had him regain his confidence.

That was an amazing story arc. I remember having all of the issues except one in the middle and not being able to track down the missing issue. That story was one of the first TPB's I owned. It was my only way for me to finish the story.

I agree that it cemented Wally in his role as the Flash. He was finally able to leave Barry's shadow and become the great hero that he was supposed to be and the kind of hero that Barry would have wanted to follow in his footsteps.

This is a great reminder for me to put this story on my list of essential back issue reading.

The TPB did not include the green lantern tie-in issue where Hal was torn up over capturing the rogue Barry Allen.

Good memories , i remember reading the issue before "the return of Barry allen" where Jay Garrick appeared with Wally for the very first time since COIE (a long long time) , it was a real nostagia trip that made me so happy that the JSA was brought back from limbo when i got to that last page with "Barry Allen" on the doorstep. Shock couldn't come into it. I was flabbergasted. Certainly Mark Waid's best flash storyline.
