Can anyone explain to me, how the hell did Rogue become young and then become really hot? I remeber in Uncanny X-men #172 (I believe) she was neither. Just curious. (Not that I'm complaining.):biggrin:

Her original depiction was an flub by the artist. He depicted Rogue about 30 years older than she was intended to be. The hotness is just a genre staple: when you become a good-guy, it's an instant +5 on the scale.

Yeah, it was a mistake.

He mistook the 'Grey Streak' in the character's description to mean she was old.

I think she had a makeover from Tim Gunn (project runway) or something....

She didn't become really hot, in my opinion, until Mark Silvestri /Arthur Adams drew her in Uncanny X-Men #218. Every other artist since then kinda followed suit.

I don't know but man am I glad she did nothing beats beating one out to a hot Ramos Rogue.
