STORM WEEK!: Which of these designs should Storm wear?

Ok, so I'm pretty sure none of us are really digging Storm's new Astonishing X-Men costume...AT ALL. But let's say out of some freak accident I get lucky enough to have someone at Marvel come across one of my costume designs I made for Storm. Which of these five would you like to see her in most?

First we have the delectable deliciousness that is Chris O's design, that I drew, and put a few of my own spins on for him.

Next we have a sensual modern day take on her original costume that I designed for her. Spicy yes?

Next we have something completely out of the left field, but still stylish, and familiar enough to fit Storm's style.

This one isn't so much a costume as it is a civvies outfit that Ororo would wear. Perhaps you would all enjoy seeing her rock this outfit sometime?

Well, my bias is pretty clear here, I'm sure. However, they are all fabulous and all much better than the two designs she's currently sporting.

I voted for #1. It's sleek, dignified and doesn't look as if it were about to fall off.

That scarf on the first one did it for me. It's a nice splash of color, it keeps her hair from going totally nuts and -unlike her tiara- the fabric could dramatically flap around when she uses her powers.

They were all good, but I enjoyed those three the most :smile:
I liked how the Navy Blue was a throwback to her 90s one she wore during the onslaught crisis, but at the same time, it had elements of other costumes too.
The purple, it's not too common seeing characters in a purple costume and Storm can pull purple off :biggrin:

The black though, not matter what, Black leather will always look good on storm!

The Fantastic Navy Blue Ensemble...it looks great. #1 comes in a close second.

I would probably like the red more if it was dark blue or black

Would the #1 design work in another color (red, dark gold, violet)? Or do people prefer just the single splash of brightness? What color(s) do you folks think would best flatter Ororo's complexion?

I like my characters in colors that show up against the background; I didn't even notice she was wearing a cape in #1.

The red is alright, but I'm not fond of Ororo in a hood, the shoes are blech... and a goddess doesn't wear hosiery. It seems more like something she might wear for a party, but not in the field.

The red is a red scarf tied around her head. It then drapes around her shoulders and blows in the wind! :biggrin:

I like #1 and #5 the best. I would love to see the red hoodie in action, too, although it doens't really suit her.
