I kind of missed the boat on this one. I've just now picked up the trades, and actually enjoy it a lot. I didn't even realize this book existed until now. I know the series is canceled, and the team is now appearing (at least a bit) in Reign in Hell, but I was wondering if anyone knew if there were any future plans for them?

I liked the old version "The Sentinals of Magic" back during Day of Judgement, and I like this new team quite a bit too. Hoping they aren't completely lost.

I didn't even realize this book existed until now.this is a comment that pops up with depressing regularity when yet another Big Two book gets canceled for lack of readers despite it being quite excellent.

DC, Marvel, get off your collective asses. Batman and Spider-Man really can do without the extra hype and promotion by now. These smaller, newer books cannot.

So.. no idea about future plans, then?

exactly what promotion do you want? It is not like they do a lot of advertising in general and DC does a good job of pushing other books on the last page of other books.

I am not sure what you expect to be done.

The major problem with Shadowpact is it wasn't very good.

The original poster would disagree with you on that.

Well, it seems that Giffen wants to set up the magic users for the next few years with Reign In Hell so id guess that Shadowpact should be around and popping up for a while

Ya, I'm hoping we can find the characters around somewhere. Especially Ragman.

I'd be up for a Detective Chip solo series
