We've all pussy-footed around this topic for too long now -- how does Storm Week relate to Sage?

The Storm/Sage question is a vexed one, a relationship filled with tensions, gratitude, rewards and grudges.

Storm saved Sage from Bogan, bringing Tessa back into the X-Fold, whereas Sage saved Queen Storm from Khan and his harem.

While Sage's life was endangered by Lady M and Sebastian Shaw, Storm went shopping with Jean Grey.

Storm later held a grudge when Sage turned Storm's boyfriend, Slipstream, into a genetic freak.

Angered, Sage intentionally let Storm suffer a spinal injury.

What is the moral of this story? Does anyone really care about morals? Does Creator CC? Was he trying to show that while Sage permitted Storm to suffer physical harm, this was fair because Storm hurt Sage's feelings?

I open this to discussion.

Sage tried to save Storm from Khan, but Storm ended up saving her.

Sage was awesome as Storm's Blackberry, though. She should go back to that, especially now that Storm is so busy.

Sage's intervention was quite timely. If she hadn't distracted Khan's fists with her face at a crucial moment, Storm would never have gotten away. It all played into Sage's plan.

Which is why she needs to be Storm's Blackberry again.

The real question per Rogue: does Sage go both ways?

Of course she does.

Storm tried to use Sage as a tampon to "stop the bleeding." I love when Storm instructs Sage to "wreck it."

Later, they share a tender moment.

Storm is clearly using her EMP field to scramble Sage's data so that Sage believes she is the one to initiate Ororo into lesbian love.

Where are Storm and Sage there, and why are dino dykes making out in the background? Were Storm and Sage creating a spontaneous orgy ala Perfume?

That's precisely Storm's M.O. . She plays the ingenue, the naif, the waif, always the seduced, never the seducer (except in the cases of Kitty and Ilyanna).

Hmmm ... is Sage the love child of Storm and 7 of 9?

And why is Sage's vision eerily reminiscent of the Star Trek computer panel?

I think the answer is clear. CC merged his love of Storm and Star Trek to create S.A.G.E.

Sage and Storm..it's the most natural of connections.

Sexual tension is always appropriate.

I love this moment. Sage is x-tremely embarrassed by Storm's choice of outfit. Sage is so desperate to get Storm to cover up some of that nastiness, that she loans Storm her cyber-shades.
Sage, ever focused on the mission at hand, kneels down in a puddle of Storm's own urine to help lift the grate cover for Storm to go through.

Sage's feelings on Storm are torn. She is still annoyed that Storm did not grab the Destiny diaries when she had the chance, but she was also highly amused when Storm tossed Psylocke into a giant wave of toilet water in order for Betsy to die by Vargas's sword.

The more I see of X-Treme X-Men, the more I worry about Chris Clairemont. All this thread needs is some scans of Storm and tentacle-Callisto, and it'll become the creepiest thread I've ever seen on CBR. Why is Sage smiling at Storm in that one picture? Sage never struck me as the type to smile at anything. Isn't she serious?

sage is a close friend of storm's, seres.

tessa is one of the few people to speak to storm as an equal, instead of as some petty ankle-biter or faux-dominant 'master.'

sage only smiles for storm.

Of course she is serious, but she is also capable of amusing herself.

I guess I still have much to learn, when it comes to matters of Sage. She seems to be a highly complex mind.

This thread (http://forums.comicbookresources.com/showthread.php?t=233798) features a rare glimpse into Sage's high-process functions, but yes, it is considerably complex. She's not just a sophisticated, nearly flawless machine with superb tactical skills that give her the almost unfair advantage in any situation; she also enjoys the finer things in life.
