Who should be storms new arch-enemy?

http://imagecache2.allposters.com/images/pic/ATA/25414MV~Mystique-Small-Man-Posters.jpg
In the earlier years Ororo and Raven seemed to have a pretty strong dislike of each other and now with Storms new status as a queen and leader of a major international power could that put her back in Mystique's crosshairs?

Maddie has no love for any of the x-men in particular but she did spend a long time with Ororo in the outback so maybe they wouldnt really be interested in fighting each other... besides they would both be having too much fun tormenting Emma...

no love lost between Ororo and Candra... do we know if she is dead? If not i could see her terrorizing storms people in Africa. Or being behind some attacks on wakanda...

any other ideas?

Can we put "Clothes" in there too? She's always fighting their influence. She's only free when she's naked.

X-cell

I loved the rivalry between her and marrow, and the callisto and storm dynamic was good too, why not bring them back to fight storm, plus the rest of X-cell as well.

TYPOS. Damnit, I know 'Ro doesn't have a PhD, but I'm pretty sure she'd frown upon referring to her adversaries as villans.

Out of the three, I'd have to go with Blue.

Anyone else I can think of would have either a real creepy or 'petty catfight' vibe to it.

uhm...she pretty much has one already..and always has in Shadow King. Which I personally love. Such a powerful foe for her t smack around.

Candra would be a great Storm villain if she wasn't dead.

I like Shinobi Shaw as a villain for her.

Also, I think Phantazia would make a great villain for her if she regained her mutant abilities. If Phantazia's powers get upgraded to around Siena Blaze's level, she should be able to destroy Storm from the inside out.

Shadow King, agreed!

Shadow King, agreed!

The guy's basically obsessed with raping her mind. How is that cool in any relevant way whatsoever?

On the other hand, someone like Blue would just try to beat the f*** out of her for a goof. Or do sexier things to her. Whatever.

For someone who's such a fan favorite and supposed to be such a figurehead in MU mutant history. Storm has a pretty crappy list of villains. If Marvel wants to push her to the forefront at all, they need to work on this a bit.

But isnt that true of all the Marvel Heroes. Storm needs a new set of foes.

you know....for someone who hated clothes so much, the 90s sure kept storm covered up a lot.

....i'm starting to think jim lee really didn't understand the concept of storm when he redesigned her.

wait, hardees had x-men toys? i thought pizza hut and burger king had the monopoly on x-men?

and i also thought that hardees was only south of the mason dixon.

thank you, swashubuckler, for continuing to provide me with education. your wisdom knows no bounds.

I would say any number of villains could be GREAT for Ororo.

There's:

Heka Nut: possessed by C'hton (sp) He was a powerful sorcerer who battled with Ororo's ancestor.

Deluge who once battled her for control of Africa and her weather.

The Shadow King 'nuff said

Candra who has ties to one of her Rubies (where are those now?).

Masque if done correctly could be more dangerous than Mystique.

Malice Ex Dora Milaje from Priest's run that started hanging out with Killmonger.

Shinobi Shaw

Khan

Phantazia

Her General Uncle

Princess Zanda

Hardee's had little X-Men figurines which featured a story based on X-Men Annual #2 (where Pyro revealed he had the Legacy Virus). There was:

Cyclops vs. Crimson Commando
Wolverine vs. Blob
Rogue vs. Avalanche
Storm vs. Phantazia
Beast w/ Time Glider (under 3 toy)

Plus there were random other stuff that you could get, such as pogs, cups, stickers, and the mini comic books (four in all, about 18 pages each) which go along with the action figure pairings. These toys were my childhood, I swear... I remember they let me buy all 8 figures without having to eat the nasty Hardee's food.

Why does Phantazia have no arms?

She does, her body simply becomes "powered up" and it gives off the shape that she has no body, that she's just a floating head with a purple cape. The Hardee's comic is weird, because it makes her seem like she has a body but no arms.

You complete tease. I was MISSING you until those Phantazia scans made me stop, wonder, and realise.

Shadow King
Dr. Doom
Dracula
The Advasary
The Brood

All of these would make great villains for Storm
