Alright X-forumers, Its time to play the X-dating Game. Here, you get to choose who a retconned single Storm is paired with. Choose from our lovely pool of suitable mates or name your own and why.

Seriously...I was so looking forward to that happening. From what I've heard there was even a Salvador Larroca Storm/Cable Cover that was never published...Damn i wish i could see that.

I think Thor would be a good choice, they looked well together in the recent scans from Marvel Adventures. She can always keep Yukio on the side, I don't think Thor would mind much. :smile:

I think I will choose Yukio. They had an interesting relationship and, just as married black couples are few and far between in comics, so are lesbian couples.

I think the pencil sketch for the cover is online somewhere

I still have some hope that it will continue once Cable is back and the Storm/Black Panther marriage is over.

Warren Ellis wrote the Storm limited series that set-up the Nate/Ororo relationship. (Terry Dodson did the art) Hopefully Ororo/Nate is something Ellis will pick up again in AXM.

Hmmm..When you go outside can you see the spirally sparkle of lights in the atmosphere? Its all make believe isnt it. Do you believe me?

T'Challa probably already has the experience. Look at his bodyguards. Heck, you could throw them in the mix and the Black Panther would be an extremely happy King

I would like to see Thor and Storm get together and then get married, but the question is this, I know it will never happen in a million years probably but if Storm and Thor got together will the rest of the asgardians accept her?

Only if Odin feels as tho the relationship was not rushed. Or if the writer executed it poorly. Oh yeah, the big hurdle would be if certain fans would rather see him with Balder the Brave. With all of those panels of them sharing drinks, leaning into each other. They had to have had a relationship-->See Yukio.

I don't even like Balder and I never will and so that goes saying the possibility of Thor and Balder being together will be a huge mistake. (and no I do not have a problem with 2 people of the same gender getting together) I just would rather Thor being with either Sif, Amora, that nurse Jane, Storm (hope it becomes a possibility)

I dont have a problem with same sex couples. Its just Yukio is so loose, she doesnt seem like the settle down type.
Hmm I might create a Yukio appreciation thread for Storm week. Unless someone else does one. I have scans of her going allout to get Wolverine and Gambit.

Nate and Ororo started dating in Cable 88, and it was suppose to carry over to Uncanny, but it was dropped after all the X-books were retooled.

Cable 88 was during Weinberg's run, around 2000. It was the same time during the second Claremont era when Cable was also a member of the X-Men.

Ororo and Nate were friends throughout Cable's solo series. Jeph Loeb intended to hook them up, but never got around to it.

I would think they would to some extent, since the X-Men do have some interaction history with the Asgardians. And I do have to admit they were cute together in Marvel Adventures too.

Then again, I'm pretty much Thor/Anyone but Sif, since I'm a hardcore Beta Ray Bill/Sif (the latter being Thor's on/off again fiancee from his comic) supporter.

there is nothing wrong with storm and thor actually getting together and I'd prefer that storm and thor get together, but if not then I'd like Thor to get with Amora again but right now I'd want Storm and Thor together

T'challa's the best.

Yukio would have been spicey (I happen to love Girls who like Girls)
Kahn would have been a exciting.
Doom would have been interesting.
Loki would have been funny.
Thor would have been infuriating.
Cable would have been gross (isn't she like his play Aunt or something WTF would you do that).
Kurt would have been gross (Brother and sister thing).

Forge is soaked in wackness "Please baby baby PLEASE" wouldn't even get him rained on.

Piotr is the one Ororo has a sister/brother relationship with (and even Piotr used to have quite the crush on Ororo during the early adventures of the All-New All-Different team.) Between Ororo and Kurt, it's always been sort of okay that they almost flirt just a little sometimes. If there's a fellow X-Men I could realistically see Ororo fall in love with, Kurt would be one. However, they are great as friends, so I'm not in a rush to see that happen.

I agree with you on Cable, though. I never cared for that pairing.

Why I stopped being a Forge/Storm fan. Ororo definitely doesn't need fixing and if you got a problem, man-up and tell her.
