Is DC Universe: Halloween '08 a good read?? is it worh getting??

At the price it is you would think it's something of an essential read.

Is there something on it that's relevant for other books or characters??

Well, the importance or value of a story is really subjective when you get down to it, but it's not tied into anything currently going on in the DCU; just a collection of Hallowe'en/Scary stories featuring a variety of DC characters.

Adequate read, decent art, but more of a back-issue bin pick-up for me, if at all.

Its ok, but not great. Some nice stories, but nothing spectacular. Last year's was better.

$5.99 cover price is a little steep, though. If it was even a $1.00 less I'd probably recommend it. But at that price, better off to wait until it hits the discount bins in a few months.
