not sure where to put this so move it nssarcy is any here a fan of the Beano , Dennis the meance and the bash street comics. I used to collect the beano every week but stopped reading shortly after the birth of Dennis sister. However the classic and old annuals are really good, but you have serech in old books to get the really old ones,

Although I haven't read any Beano, there was a cover story on a recent (ie in the last year) issue of Book & Magazine Collector that you might want to check out for more details on collecting it.

I'm a big fan of BEANO cartoonist Leo Baxendale, creator of the Bash Street Kids. <http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Leo_Baxendale> He's one of those guys whose drawings are genuinely funny. I know that Gilbert (FABULOUS FURRY FREAK BROTHERS) Shelton is also an admirer of Baxendale's.
