View Full Version : Non-U.S. residents, how much coverage do you get about the presidential race?

I'm noticing a number of the non-U.S. residents on this board seem quite knowledgeable about the presidential candidates. I was just wondering where they get their info.
I try and catch the network news most nights and I rarely see anything about other countries unless there is a crisis. Only on BBC World news do I see anything about other countries. Of course, I do have only basic cable which means I do not receive CNN or FOX or any of those news channels.
Thanks!

Up here in CANADA, we receive network news from CBS, FOX, ABC, NBC, CNN and Headline News, among others. There's also the good ol' internet and Canadian newspapers and tv, all of which pay close attention to what's going on south o' the border.

It's rough covering up Bush's shitstorm.

We get quite a bit of coverage in the UK.
We also have political humour shows Mock The Week and Have I Got News For You, and you can bet they're loving the existence of the McCain campaign...

Quite a bit? If it wasn't for the credit crunch it would be the lead article on most national news programmes.
I'm a bit of a political student but they really seem to have gone to town on the election this time.
Mock the Week is the funniest thing on TV.
