I'd have to say Spider-Man 2 is still King of the Mountain although the first two Superman movies were certainly very good and started the whole modern super hero era as far as movies are concerned. Judging them strictly as great films, I'd maybe put Ang Lee's Hulk in the top four. As a super hero movie, it would rate lower. The new Hulk movie is fun but way down the list of great comic book based movies.

From Marvel, it's definitely Iron Man. Overall, though, The Dark Knight, no question.

Spider-Man 2 is my favourite. Superman II will always have a special place in my heart because it was the first film my parents ever took me to the cinema to watch.
Iron Man and the Incredible Hulk were very good too but Daredevil and Ghost Rider are just woeful, truly, truly, woeful.

I think Hulk was way better then Iron Man. Iron Man, although great, was spent in a basement for half the movie... Hulk was smashing half the movie. What would you rather watch, come on.

I loved the Eric Bana version. Incredible Hulk had too many flaws. I really love Norton as an actor, but he just didn't make a good Banner to me. At most he was passable. The only thing i think he did well were the chase scenes, particularly with the military. even worse was Liv Tylor's performance as Betty Ross. Romantically she was fine, but she didn't portray the intelligence of Betty. The actress from Ang Lee's Hulk was romantic and cerebral. My biggest disappointment was the CGI portraying the Hulk. The Hulk didn't grow bigger as he became angrier. To me his ability to grow bigger and stronger as he got angrier is his defining trait. It's what distinguishes him from other heroes with superstrength. To me the only think Ang Lee's hulk did wrong was the CGI hulked out dogs and the use of the elemental being at the end of the movie. But the Hulk's fight with the military in Ang Lee's Hulk was far superior to the fight scenes in Hulk.

Spiderman's CGI blows Hulk out of the water. With Spiderman you can't even tell Spiderman is a CGI effect. Only common sense makes that clear. Otherwise you couldn't tell the difference. Hulk is OK, but not on the level of Spiderman.

I'd preferred him being in the basement. Really! Being in the basement, developing the armor established the foundation of what makes Iron Man important. It made the character more believable because it explained how Stark created the armor on his own and how it works. It's like Superman 1; the way the movie took time out to flesh out Superman's origin story, portraying his youth and showing us Krypton.
