I just picked this up. Wow, this is a great book to have. What a nice read. Great job. I am impressed.

Yeah, it's a really nice collection. Even the BUG one-shot, which I thought seemed somewhat extraneous, was a decent read.

I think this is worth it for the Rocket Racoon collection stuff alone but I would have preferred the Nova, Warlock, Starlord, etc stuff to have been released in Visionaries style softcovers or in a more affordable collected format. I'm particularly shocked that none of the Nova/Quasar stuff has been collected as stand alone books given their appearances in Annihilation.

Essential Nova 1 collects his entire first series in one volume. Yeah its in black and white but still well worth getting for the stories.

I agree that pretty much all of Starlords previous apperances before he showed up again in the Thanos series could be collected in a regular sized trade though.

You and me both. It's a crying shame that NONE of Gru's Quasar series has been collected except for Quasar #1 (Operation Galactic Storm does contain Quasar #'s 32 - 34, but it's hardly a Quasar trade). Quasar #1 has also been reprinted in Marvel Milestones: Star Brand & Quasar, of all things...still scratching my head over that one.
An Essential Quasar would be great. An english version of Cosmos In Collision would also be wonderful.
I would think that reprinting Nova's other series would be a good idea, too...maybe another Essential.

Only thng about that is Nova does't really have that many more apperances between the end of his seires and when he was brought back in the first issue of the New Warriors. An apperence in Rom, Fantastic Four, and Thor are all I can think of.
