At Newsarama Marvel just anounced it will be produceing orginal content set in the 616 universe for its digital comic service.

Titles will include American Eagle, the Fin Fang Four and extra Amazeing Spider-Man stories.

I think this would be a good route to take with titles, characters and concepts that don't quite sell well in print but have a loyal fanbase like Spider-Girl.

What original content would you want to read online?

The future is now :D I've been supporting Marvel's Digital Comics since day 1 and even stopped my illegal downloading to do so.

I'd like to see some Omega Flight or Defender comics. An Avengers: Initiative title following a different team each week would be good too.

Omega Flight is a good one.

I'd like to see Marvel use DCU to give certain characters who didn't didn't quite catch on a second chance. Things like Livewires, Irredeemable Ant-Man or Nextwave.

I like that Marvel is aiming at doing more genres in DCU. Westerns and Monster stories should be cool.

And concepts like Invaders could find a nice home on DCU.

Anything that's "old" (maybe 2 years and older) and impossible to find on TPB should go digital.

I'm holding off to see how much effort they put into these.

I have a feeling they're going to use this format as a tryout camp for new writers and new artists, and I expect the quality of the finished product to be erratic.
