“The magic in that last scene is that Deadpool does it. If but for one little sad circumstance, Deadpool would have saved the Earth right then and there,” Way said. “He would have delivered the magic bullet to the good guys and things would have gone in a brand new shiny direction for Deadpool. But it doesn’t and all of a sudden he’s on Nick Fury’s shit list. He’s also handed the keys to the kingdom over to a complete psychopath. His moment of greatest triumph is the moment that might just actually destroy him.”
Wow, I wasn't really thinking about the issue like that before but now, it's pretty damn depressing.

Never could get into Deadpool. Tried a couple of times. Didn't suit me.

Way's the guy who's been screwing up Wolverine Origins, right? An odd choice for Deadpool. Is he playing it serious or for laughs?

As long as the arcs stay short for this book I think way will do a good job. But be very concerned when you start seeing 4 issue arcs and above.

I have to say I've been pleasantly surprised with how decent this has been after reading how awful The Deep End was. I had some serious concerns, but I think you're right Drwho. As long as the arcs stay relatively short it might be good. Way's problems seem to be with long drawn out arcs.

Ugh i don't think i can read anymore it's getting me too excited and anxious:eek:

I will have a fanboygasm seeing Deadpool and Green Goblin fight it out.
I've always seen Deadpool as a sort of Adamantium Age version of Spider-man with the quips and the agility and all.

I wonder what Norman wants with all that information anyways..? sell it to the highest bidder? use it as a contract for the Thunderbolts where they get all the credit and glory?

I cant think of anything else he could do with it....

Anyone else got any idea's what he wants with this info?

Speaking as someone who wouldn't touch Wolverine origins with a ten-feet long pole while Way was writing it...he's doing a good job on Deadpool.
