Hello Everybody!

I wanted to do a quick poll to see who all would be interested in doing another art exchange. For those of you who are newer and haven't participated before, here is a little more information.

----------

So what exactly is the exchange?

The exchange is an opportunity for forum members to give and/or receive original Hellboy fan art. That's right, original Hellboy fan art. Each person creates a piece of Hellboy-themed art and will send it to a randomly chosen person who is participating in the exchange.

What if I'm not an artist?

If you are suddenly sad because you swear up and down that you just cannot possibly create anything, that is where the awesomeness of this little community really shines. Several people may create multiple pieces of art to send to those individuals who aren't able to send pieces of their own but would still like to participate in the exchange by receiving a piece of fan art.

What is asked of you?

Aside from creating your art piece and sticking to the timeline, it is important to remember that you will be sending your art directly to the randomly selected individual whose name you receive. This will require you to pay the postage. Remember that the Hellboy Forum is an international community and therefore may require you to send a package to another country.

Who is eligible to participate?

Registered members of Comic Book Resources Forums as of September 2008 and participants in the Hellboy Forum.

What is the timeline?

If we do this it would be from around the end of this week to November 24 for mailing.

As this being my first time participating in the exchange I was wondering about a few things

1. When do we get paired up with other members?
2. Do we just begin making the art whenever? like say......... now?
3. Now that we see so many of us are to participate, what are the next steps to take?

thanks!
I'm really excited about this.

Definitely start your art if you wish. Petriacce does a random draw to pair a sender with their recipient, and does a great job of keeping the secret.
