You seriously need to show some photos to back up that story, Nicola..

She has a photo. I've seen it. I think her story has to be kind of unique. Someone almost playing a superhero, then end up drawing them for a living.

She's Oracle. the whole Wonder Woman thing is a scam that's part of some larger complex gambit.
You're not fooling me, Nicola, with your drawing and the coolness.
Not fooling me one bit.
I know you're Oracle.

Trust me. She's Wonder Woman. You're just letting the accent through you off. :)

She's not kidding. This almost happened, for real!
I remember reading about that. Nicola was an actress. After the success of the Lois & Clark TV series, they wanted to do a similar show for Wonder Woman. Nicola was one of the front runners for the part, but they pulled the plug on the project before anything materialized. Of course, if the series did get made, Nicola might still be acting, and we'd probably never know what a great artist she is.

Well she's dealing with better scripts this way.

LOL, yes, in all likelihood.

Oh yeah... the photos of Nicola as Wonder Woman give Lynda Carter a run for her money and cause temporary heart failure in all who gaze upon them ;) and show a missed opportunity for both DC and the fans.

She's probably the only comic artist who can draw Wonder Woman using themselves as photo ref :)

Imagine the irony if she had portrayed WW in any fashion, and then still went on to draw her. Would have been a terrific "double whammy". Plus, the book would probably be even bigger then it already is. Fans of the program would have bought the book just because the "real" WW was involved.
But I still wonder where the pictures are of this? I think with an announcement like that... there should be evidence! (please?)

Ms. Scott you ARE Wonder Woman. You are hands down my favorite artist and have broken new ground due to the fact that you a woman working in a field that was almost exclusively all male.

I want to see the pictures. It's no fair talking about them and not sharing. Also, I want a Wonder Woman TV series. That would be cool.
If the show was going to be like Lois & Clark, would it have been mostly a Steve Trevor show (or whoever the chosen love interest would have been)? And would it have been hideously derailed by frog eating clones in the third season?

would make a better Circe than a Wonder Woman. That way she wouldn't have to dye her red hair. Did you have to cover up your accent for the audition or were they creative enough to realize noone really knows how an Amazon would sound?

I remember Nicola telling me about this when we first met and being in total awe. I spent alot of time with Nicola at the last San Diego Con and was with her a few times when this story was told and let me tell you nothing beats seeing the faces of people when she tells them this story..people just light up and become giddy..its awesome ! But then again its hard not to light up and be giddy when you're around Nicola..there is alot of Diana in her ..body and soul.. and that truly maker her a wonder!

I think we talked about that on Around Comics when we had Nicola on last year.
Here's a link if anyone wants to hear her tell the story.

True story.
You'd have won the contest if you hadn't stayed up the night before watching old Dr.Who episodes instead of practicing bullets and bracelets.
