Thanks, guys.
It's a girl, so no "Augie III," unfortunately.
Still sitting here in the hospital, waiting for the contractions to pick up steam.

Better luck next time!
I'm a III and resisted naming my son William Dmitry Bakun IV! Yes, that is my real name and it's a long one at that!

There is wireless in the hospital and you are taking time to post? That's dedication!

At long last, the baby came out at 7:17 this evening.
And, yes, I spent much of the day on the 'net. The wife had her epidural. The contractions weren't picking up much steam. It was a protracted and tedious affair, with an insane last hour to finish everything off.
I'll have a picture in Pipeline next week, fear not!

CONGRATULATIONS to you and the missus and the little bouncing bundle of joy!
Let us know how the comic reading goes - I found that it took me longer than expected (which in and of itself was not totally unexpected) to adjust my comic reading habits after my kids were born.

Thanks, one and all. Things are going well so far with the baby at home. I'm actually finding more time to read comics now and being less distracted by things like the TV and the internet and whatnot. It's relaxing to read a comic while waiting at my daughter's bedside for her to wake up for her next meal.
It's easy for me to say that, though, as I have three Pipeline columns already in the can. ;-)

congratulations augie,
i'm a long time listener and a huge comic fan.
let's hope in this day and age she'll actually like comics, unlike all the kids my son knows at school!
" spider man? that's a movie , right? no..wait, he's a cartoon, right.....?
take care and happy reading.
i recommend searching out the hidden gems in your collection in the wee hours of the morning while everyone's asleep.
that's what i do!
