Good horror anime

Ive watched like dozens of times both vampire hunter d movies and devilman (devilman is about my favorite), have any suggestions for more horror anime thats of the same quality?

The overfiend series is hentai and consists of a lot of volumes. Pretty heavy stuff.

There is a lot of horror animes out there and i can only recommend the few that i have seen.

If you want adult horror anime that you can watch over a weekend , you can try the classic horror anime , wicked city. (a bit of hentai stuff)

Petshop of horrors is pretty neat (an anthology of horror stories involving this antique petshop in chinatown - sort of like gremlims)

But my favorite goes to Boogiepop phantom , a real mind bending horror anime , more apt if you have a surround sound system.

I'm not sure about anime, but in terms of manga, Uzumaki and Parasyte are tops.

Hellsing is rather fun bloody pulpy horror. The TV series was just okay. The movie / OVA series Hellsing Ultimate is closer to the manga and has a much better budget.

Vampire hunter D and Blood lust are really good,in a sense you could say Neon Genesis Evangelion is horror at last in some parts...especdially how depressing it can get if you watch the movie .oh and a movie called Wicked city wasnt half bad ether oh and Perfect Blue would fall under psycological hitchcock like movies.cant think of any others..

Satoshi Kon's movies are a bit more thrillers than horror. Think of him more in the Alfred Hitchcock range with a hint of David Lynch. Certainly there's some terrifying moments.

Perfect Blue is another good psychological horror.

I saw that again recently and forgot how damn creepy it was. The animation and technology is a bit dated, with an early 90s internet site part of the twisting plot, but it still holds up amazingly. An amazing and disturbing film.

Kon's newest film Paprika is also rather horror. Tokyo Godfathers is a bit more light hearted. Millennium Actress is more of a straight up drama.
