I just saw the preview of Nightwing 149 (I haven't actually read the issue) and it got me thinking about Batman villains. I know some Batman villains go together in a team up (I always loved the idea of Scarecrow and the Madhatter teaming up) but with so many times these villains have backstabbed each other, and how sensible some have been lately (I'm thinking of the Penguin) compared to the ones that are just crazy (Joker) why would they work together, even if it is to get someone from the Bat clan. Wouldn't they be just as likely to turn on each other?
Just a thought really. I just don't picture them as having the same villain relationship that, say, the Rogues of Flash have. It makes me wonder every time I see a bunch of them together in a frame.
